Donovan Arborists did a fine job pruning deadwood from one of our crabapple trees and removing three trees off our property (and stump grinding one). Getting an estimate was easy and Greg, the rep who came by, was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly.

My wife and I appreciated Bridget's patience and accommodation over multiple phone calls when we decided to move forward with hiring Donovan Arborists and then having to modify what work we wanted to have done.

The day of service went by quite smoothly. The team, Ivan, Perots, Paul, and Justin, did a fantastic job. I was consistently amazed and impressed by how they did what they did, especially with the removal of two of our very large trees (one Douglas fir and one white pine). One of our pavers was damaged and irrigation line accidentally cut during the process though, but the team took ownership and to my pleasant surprise, were able to replace the paver with an exact match on the same day and replaced the irrigation line the next! The tree removals produced a ton of wood chips (plus a lot of pine cones from the Douglas fir) and the team cleaned it all up to the best of their ability. Ivan also provided some pointers on how to get rid of the two tree stumps that the stump grinder could not access.

Overall, I'd highly recommend Donovan Arborists. They provided professional, high-quality work at a reasonable cost. We look forward to having them come again to prune our crabapple trees in the winter.

I started using Donovan Arborists about a year ago for tree trimming/care at my new home. I spoke to several different companies and I felt that Donovan provided a fair and reasonable treatment plan without going overboard on unnecessary treatments. Our arborist Greg is fantastic, responsive and knowledgeable. I will absolutely continue to use them in the future for all of our tree needs.

I recommend Donovan. Had a big tree that was dying and they handled it one day. They were the second lowest estimate out of 5+. The lowest bidder never got back to me. The difference was only a few hundred and they allowed me to break up the bill into two payments. I am happy I went with Donovan.

Donovan Arborists have done work for us on several occasions (everything from saving us after a tree fell on our house the day we moved in, to treating our ash trees), and would highly recommend to anyone. High quality work from a friendly and knowledgeable staff, all at a fair price

From the initial consultation to the final cleanup, their team was professional, efficient, and knowledgeable. They safely removed a large tree that was close to my house and wiring without any issues, and they did it all at a fair price. Their crew was punctual, friendly, and left my yard looking spotless. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of tree services!

We have used Donovan Arborists for the past 10 years. Paul and his team care about what they do and they do it well! We have a tree that is a particularly challenging/technical one to prune and the Donovan crew doesn’t bat an eye when it comes to getting the job done!

They cleaned very thoroughly and took many precautions to ensure there was no damage to our property. They even left us with notes on care for some of the other trees around our yard (that they didn’t trim). Our mature maple tree looks great and ready to withstand CO wind and winters. We’ll definitely be working with Donovan Arborists in the future!

Joe and Jessica were very professional, timely, and able to answer all my questions about my new trees. They were also very kind and helpful and helped spread mulch around the new trees.

This group is very unprofessional. Completely wastes everyone's time. They will only schedule someone to visit for a full day time block. I inquired about their services online, because they don't answer their phone providing details including that I do not live at the property so that I would like to discuss things before they send anyone to the property. They promise someone will call me before they go to the property. They then send someone to the property without notifying me. The person calls me while I am in a meeting. I return his call never receive a call back or an estimate. You would think if they want your business they would actually want to work with customers. Guess because they are a national chain they have too much business and don't want you as a customer.
They won't give any estimates over the phone or even an idea of how much their service will cost.
Look for other tree services to do business with.

My experience with Davey has been fantastic. Last year they took down a huge ponderosa that was leaning, dropped each hunk exactly where they wanted, ground the stump, and left the area totally cleaned up. This year they removed a failed spruce and an almost dead maple. A couple weeks later, I had Davey back to remove a smaller pinon that was a problem along Sheridan, and they were willing to take out another pinon (unplanned for) that the wind was suddenly causing to be dangerous. Huge thank you for all your help and fast response.

The North Denver office of this company stands behind their work and have been professional throughout. Dan the arborist, and Corinne in the office are good people and truly care about what they do. The crew members that have been out for various projects are polite and hard working. I highly recommend them.

A shoutout to The Davey Tree Company located on Glencoe Street that has taken over the care of the many trees in our Hunters Glen Lakeshore neighborhood. Many of our trees had been poorly trimmed and neglected. Davey Tree has restored the beauty of our trees.

This is the second time I have used them. And I will use the next year as well. I found them to be extremely knowledgeable about all our different varieties of trees. Timely, very friendly , professional, consistently reliable all while being very easy to communicate with. The overall experience has been excellent!

Jose came to our home to do an injection to control Box Elder bugs. Jose did an excellent job. He was very professional and took the time to explain what chemical he was using and how it works. Jose was one of the nicest people I've had the pleasure of meeting.

Davey Tree was a pleasure to work with! From the receptionist to the team that came out for the work. Everyone was extremely professional, friendly and knowledgeable. The team that did the work left our yard clean and our trees looking amazing! We will be using them for all services from now on.

I had to have a tree planted in my front yard. I decided to go with a Scarlett Maple but I had no idea how to actually plant a tree. Ryan came bay and helped out in a way that was professional and knowledgeable. He took his time to not only explain the correct steps but also answered any and all the questions I asked. He was patient and explained in detail how to not only plant my tree but how to keep it alive! I am happy to say that the tree is still growing and in my opinion, by far the nicest in the neighborhood!!! Thank you Ryan for your help and expertise!

Scheduled a free consultation for some trees we planted and some tree management. Was scheduled for a window of 11-1 and my husband and I took off work drove an hour from Denver for this time so we could meet with them and ask questions.. We waited the 2 hours before calling and finding out they came early. They didn’t call when no one was home. Spoke to someone after the fact and felt like it was no big deal. Felt like they blamed us for some of our trees not thriving. Didn’t get any of my questions answered. They didn’t look at all our trees. We were interested in having the healthy ones pruned too.but.all they did was to offer to come out again, but how can I expect that to go better. Total waste of time. Make sure you get an exact time if you call to schedule.
