Found these folks on Yelp and liked how professional + prompt their communication was. They came out on Xmas eve to assess our trees and provided a free comprehensive estimate within 6 hours of the visit. Their price was competitive against our other bids. They were easy to work with and did a terrific job taking care of our trees, including doing work requiring access through a neighbor’s yard. They put in a long day, cleaned everything up amazingly well (including in the neighbor’s yard), and were overall just fantastic. Management was friendly, professional, and best of all, EASY TO WORK WITH. 5 stars, would absolutely recommend.

Taylor is a family owned local to Denver tree removal service and they are excellent. I called and scheduled an estimate and Summer and Travis showed up at my house, took photos, chatted with me about what I needed and later that day I had an estimate. They weren’t the lowest bid but they inspired the most confidence. Their estimate was very thorough, with photos and the options that we discussed were itemized exactly as I needed. We scheduled the work and they did an amazing safe, job. Highly recommend Taylor tree removal service!!

The Donovan team came to our house today to remove trees and bushes, lop branches that were hanging over our roof, and clear overgrown areas in our yard. They did an excellent job! Extremely professional, consulted with us as the work was being performed, and cleaned up everything before they left. Very impressed with their work!

I’ve worked with several other arborists over the years and none of them compare to Donovan! They did exactly what I envisioned and my yard looks amazing now. Everything was so thoughtfully done and with such care. I highly recommend them and they will definitely be my go to from here on out!

This is my second time around with Donovan Arborists. The first time was a huge pruning on my Oak-my favorite tree ever! This time they took out a rotten Pear tree and planted a gorgeous Maple, and did a great job. I'm looking forward to watching it grow!

Disappointing experience attempting to schedule estimate. I was gathering estimates from multiple companies, and scheduled Donovan arborists for an estimate a couple of weeks out.The Thursday before our scheduled Tuesday appointment, they called and left a voicemail to confirm the appointment. They stated "I just wanted to make sure you did still need that estimate appointment. You can give me a call back at ..." I returned the phone call Saturday, leaving a voicemail and confirming the appointment. They called me back Tuesday morning (the day of the expected appointment) to share that they had cancelled it and next availability was two more weeks. I wouldn't waste your time if you don't want to play phone tag. And I have NEVER had the experience of my set appointment being cancelled like that (they stated, "we don't work Saturdays and it was a holiday weekend"). If you need a call back by a certain time to confirm or you will cancel my appointment, please state that in the voicemail (but also, isn't that ridiculous? I made the appointment, is that not confirmation enough?! It's in my calendar...)

Paul and his team are quick to resond and promply do what they say they will do. Reasonable and knowledgeable.

Anyone in Castle Rick dont bother calling, they wont go an extra 10 minutes to CR. I and 77, 000 other people do regularly, come on Donovan there is allot of us here.

I would highly recommend Donovan's Arborist tree service. My parents have used them for years. Their customer service is top notch.

This company started a job and refuses to finish the work. They have made excuses to why they cannot. First, it was that we where not home (untrue, I was home all day, no one showed up), then it was the shed had not been moved (they told me someone would help me move it as I cannot do it myself and we have to move it the day of the work due to HOA), then it was the kids and dog where distracting and they didn't know the utility boxes where by the tree (you cannot miss them, they have a big white baby gate around them to keep the kids away from them). When they came out to give us the quote for the job, they where informed of the utility boxes. After they chopped down the tree, they left the fencing we put around our pond to keep the kids safe and out of it, across the yard, leaning up agains out deck, they left the white baby gate off the utility boxes. Our yard is a wreck and we cannot fix our landscaping with this giant ugly stump!

Very skilled and professional! We had a large tree trimmed and another planted, and it was so fast and painless and I feel confident that the work was done right. Will absolutely be using them again in the future.

I've used them before and always thought they provided excellent service. It may be a sin of the times but this experience was not good. Greg came out for an estimate which he provided for removal and pruning of some trees (around $5k). However, I've called multiple times and left messages for Rebecca when inevitably nobody answers. No response. Frustrating and a waste of my time.

We have used Donovan for several things ranging from cutting down and removing trees to re-landscaping our backyard. Paul is always super helpful and we are glad to have them whenever we need to maintain anything in our yard!
