I highly recommend Ross Tree Service. They did an excellent job from start to finish - every aspect of the process was efficient and effective - from bid to pruning. They are very customer centered and respond to changes and upgrades in a timely manner - they answer their phone and call you back! They hire excellent people - Balthazar, Raven, & Mike were skilled and professional. We have 6 large Elm trees - almost 100 years old. The trees have never looked better - it is not easy to have Elm trees look good, however, they worked with us, responded to questions and concerns; and did not leave until we were satisfied. They also do a great job of cleanup. I will use Ross for our next job and recommend them 100%.

We have been using Ross Tree Company for over 10 years for the health of our trees. They are always very professional and take excellent care of our trees. We recently had our Red Oak Tree pruned. The team show up early and did a wonderful job. We have received several compliments on our tree. They did a great job in cleaning up the yard after the pruning. Ross Tree also offers a service of deep water essentials for trees. We have been doing this for years. Our trees are very healthy. We are very happy with the service and work that Ross Tree provides.

I contracted with Ross Tree Co to remove a super dead tree from our yard. The quoting process was super easy, the price was reasonable, the scheduling was fast, and both crews did an excellent job of pulling the tree/filling in the hole. It was rotted underneath so the stump didn't need grinding in the end. I only have one complaint and that's communication. It wasn't explained to me up front that there would be 2 crews/appointments. I only found out when their office called on the day of the first appointment to tell me that the crew would be out on Friday for the stump. The tree remains were left behind on Wednesday, they said they'd be by on Friday to deal with the stump and take the trunk, but they ended up not taking it with them on Friday. I had to call multiple days to get the remainder of the tree picked up.

We had a bit of a hard time with Ross. The person trimming our tree did a good job, I think. They cleaned up pretty well, too.

Scheduling felt disorganized and unprofessional. We were rescheduled twice; once with no notice and we did not learn about it until we called to ask where they were. When they eventually came, they told me they would have to come back because the neighbor's car down the street was in the way. Fortunately the neighbor came home and moved it last second. We were told how else to prepare (moving furnitue, etc.) and could have ensured the street was empty ahead of time if given notice.

The other issue that makes me hesitate recommending them was some of our plants got destroyed. The main one was not under the tree and I think it was from moving debris to the woodchipper. Instead of telling us about it, I noticed the next morning that they had propped the snapped stem up with rocks and I guess just hoped we didn't notice.

They were prompt on getting us the invoice and payment was easy enough.

EXCELLENT company to work with! I'm now officially a second generation customer--my parents have apparently been using them for years and my mom recommended when I needed some evergreens taken down in my back yard. I knew I'd miss the 'green' and privacy they provided, but otherwise they were a hassle with prickles and just getting out of hand. I had to wait a bit for my appointment, but it was worth it. They really cleared everything out and I'll just need to rake up the dirt and needles that had accumulated under them over the years. They are also very reachable and responsive!

Very responsive and professional. Removed all the debris after taking down our dead tree. Of note- I had many ornamental plants at the base of the tree and NONE were trampled! So amazing! Highly recommend!

Disrespectful. Trimmed a tree in our neighbor's yard and accessed our yard to do some of the work. Left us with a project to clean up the branches from their work.

I contacted Ross Tree to treat some ash trees, now that the emerald ash borer is confirmed in Lakewood. This company was super easy to work with, and I am feeling a great amount of relief now that my trees are protected. Both of the men I worked with in person were fantastic and I couldn't be happier. I will definitely use Ross Tree for any tree work needed in the future. THANK YOU! ♥

My dog died of an anal gland tumor a year and a half after purple pesticide was sprayed in my backyard to attack Dutch Elm disease. There were copious amounts sprayed. I am trying to save others from the same fate.

This was the second time I have used Ross Tree Service. The first time was Spring, 2022 to remove 2 Ailanthus trees near my garage and new fence. Ross submitted their proposal timely and were able to schedule the work within my tight timeframe. I was concerned Ross would need to temporarily remove a portion of my fence as had a previous competitor who removed a portion of the old fence which weakened it. Ross brought in the equipment to remove the large trunks over my fence leaving it intact. Ross also properly applied the poison to the stump so that the Ailanthus shoots were minimalized.

Today, Ross Tree Service arrived to complete work that was originally scheduled while I was out of town. The original work required a permit from Denver to close a lane of traffic on a busy Avenue. Unfortunately, the permit had to be pulled while I was out of town. At the time, David said he would return to complete any missed work. When I returned, I could see the trimming over the Avenue met my expectation, but some work was missed. Today, the crew returned and the final trim work exceeded my expectations.

I will continue to use Ross Tree Service as my tree service of choice and highly recommend their service. I find David to be a very knowledgeable arborist/manager of integrity.

I've been using Ross for the last couple of years. They're great to work with from start to finish. Every person I interact with from office staff to field staff is kind and respectful. I most recently had them out to take down a couple larger trees in my yard. I trusted their process completely and they left my yard cleaner than it was when they showed up. It feels so hard to find high quality service, competitive prices AND a respectful team in one company these days. Ross has them all and I'd reccomend them to anyone.

Ross Tree Company was fantastic! I had them check my crabapple tree for a possible fungal infection, and the arborist explained it was just normal bark shedding for that species. He gave helpful tips on pruning, fertilizing, and watering—no pressure to buy services I didn’t need. Honest, knowledgeable, and friendly. I’ll definitely use them in the future!

We selected Ross Tree to help with two 50' maple tree trimming/preservation as well as trimming some smaller trees on our lot. End-to-end, the group exceeded our expectations. From initial contact, to proposal, to questions/clarification and second trip to confirm proposal (thank you David!), to scheduling and the ultimate two teams who came to do the work, they were professional, courteous and communicative. Most of all, they clearly care for trees as much as we do. The two teams were amazing working together with a very strategic approach to complex work. The clean up was thorough, including my neighbor's yard. They also were able to dump a small pile of chips for me to use as mulch. Please see a few pics to show the size of our trees with the men up high in them to do a complete job (one is view from back tree looking at men in front tree - they are up high). Highly recommend.

This company was the BOMB....from the estimate to the work done. Paul and his two guys came Tuesday and did a GREAT job on 3 large trees that were very over grown. They look awesome and the cleanup was excellent....you'd never know they were here and hauled off enough wood to make another tree. I got 3 bids ad theirs was the best by about $220+ Thx Ross!!

Ross Tree saved our tree! After having moved into our house 8 years ago, we have Ross Tree come out to handle a beetle issue. The infestation was bad, so it took a few visits. During this time, when asked if the tree was worth saving, Ross Tree said definitively yes. However, they added that the tree had not been properly cared for a few years, so it needed some help. Our initial thought was this was a sales tactic. After the beetle issue was handled, and we saw how professional they were about that, we decided to follow the maintenance plan to care for the tree. Boy are we glad we have. The tree is thriving, and providing lots of shade in the summer. I think the birds are happy we kept it alive, too.
The staff are so nice and professional to work with. They will take the extra minute to answer questions.

Only issue I had with this company - I had a stump removed from a rental property we have. I asked for an invoice once on the day they did the work, then twice more in follow up phone calls to them. Never got one. I need an invoice for tax reasons.

Jose and his guys removed a pretty large Locust tree for me in my back yard that was right on the corner of the fencing. They were right on time and very professional, fast and did a great job of cleanup afterwards. I would highly recommend these guys!

Jose and his crew at Real Mountain Tree Service did a great job! They removed some Aspen trees for me and trimmed a few other trees. Very reasonably priced and professional. I will definitely use them again.
