The service provided works well, and the initial diagnostic fee of 100.00 was reasonable, and he determined that I needed 3 lbs of R-22 refrigerant. I was charged 525.00 for the R-22. I reviewed the cost afterwards and looked up R-22 online, and discovered that by the pound through Ability Refrigerants R-22 is roughly 54.00 a pound, Accutrol was charging 175.00 a pound. When I called I was told that this was because they "buy from a distributor, which is why they are more expensive". Ability Refrigerants is a bulk distributor. I'm not criticizing the quality of work, but if you choose to work with this company look up every line item to make sure they are not up-charging you.

Air conditioner stopped working. Replaced the capacitor, now is working perfectly. Thank you Fred for your time. Will use this company again for my furnace and water heater as they are reaching there age.
