One year ago, called Builder's Heating and A/C for what I thought was a compressor problem. Turns out it was only the cooling fan, but the tech didn't have the right one. Used a different brand. One year later the compressor failed. Certainly COULD be unrelated, but an undersized fan MAY have exacerbated the problem. The tech also tried to sell maintenance services at high prices. Told me my A/C drain tube was blocked and wanted $50 to clean it (it was not blocked). Probably won't do business with these folks again.

I had a technician named Josiah who also discovered a plumbing leak while in my crawlspace doing routine furnace maintenance. He not only identified the leak in the crawlspace but was able to find a hidden pipe behind my water heater that was leaking. He took a picture of it with his cell phone and it was very hard to reach! Basically he diagnosed a plumbing problem for free !
