I don’t think 5 stars is enough but that’s all they give me . This company is wonderful to work with. They are professional, know their business inside and out , show up on time , communicate clearly in terms I could understand and delivered more than they promised. You will be happy to have them work on your solar project I guarantee it!

Had a great experience with this company. Started with a thorough and informative sales consultation with Chris. He also was very responsive and instantly answered any questions we had about the install. We also received a seamless installation with Elijah, Dan and Fabian, highly recommend using this company very impressed.

I had to leave a review because Controlling Systems gave PHENOMENAL customer service regarding my new heat pumps. I've spoken to a half dozen companies about getting heat pumps into my home. The quotes were ridiculous - ranging from $35k to $60k - with no flexibility. Just "take it or leave it."

Chris from Controlling Systems was so different. He took the time to listen to what I needed, sketched out and explained how all the different options worked, and gave me a range of options to choose from. Rather than doing my whole house at once, he came up with a proposal to do it in two phases over 2-3 years so I could afford it. And he took on the burden of navigating all the rebate complexity so I didn't have to.

THEN, Denver City pulled the funding for the rebates after I'd signed with Controlling Systems. Rather than cancel the job, Controlling Systems offered to take the financial hit, and keep the original price. Ryan (the owner) was incredibly nice about the situation, my second awesome experience with his company.

10/10. A fantastic, local company who is honest, listens and does solid work. Can't recommend highly enough.

My semi-annual visits by the polite and capable technicians from Controling Systems Mark the passage of the seasons. Not to mention it means I don't have to risk life and limb climbing up on our roof. Good people, very reliable.

Shad and Justin did a phenomenal job at my house on August 19th. They installed a 50 amp circuit for my EV charger and ran an electrical wire from the main panel to my garage through the attic. This was not a task without challenges and both demonstrated incredible ingenuity and dedication to a job well done. They worked methodically, communicated effectively, and by the time they were done, my house was clean and my car charging. What a thrill it is to work with competent people who care about what they do. I also wish to add that Chris, the sales person, was instrumental in my decision to go with Controlling Systems. He was not only professional during his visit for the estimate, he was willing, able, and ready to answer all my questions and provided solutions for my dilemmas. I will definitely be using CS again!

I cannot recommend Controlling Systems, unfortunately. I got a new furnace and AC unit installed in April 2021, and it wasn't a smooth process; the inspections failed at least twice, and after a month the exterior seal completely melted off. I altered them to a weird sound I started to hear, and they brushed it off. I finally got a different company to come take a look and we found not one but TWO pieces of metal scrap inside of the fan! A small one I could maybe understand, but not the bigger one which measures 3x8 inches! I will not be using them for any future projects. They also mistakingly sent me another customer's invoice which detailed:

"Condensation line to unit was not
hooked up properly this is why the unit
was leaking into the attic there is no
visible damage done to the drywall with
a little water did come out should dry
up by the end of the day."

I met with the team for the first time today. I have to say, I was very impressed with their knowledge and recommendations. This is the third bid I am obtaining to replace a century old boiler, and the first two companies couldn’t answer technical questions other than ‘that option just costs more.’ I haven’t received a bid yet from Controlling Systems, but so far their intuitiveness and attention to the obstacles of my old home was appreciated!

EDIT 10/15/23: Wow. Seriously. Bailey and his team were absolutely outstanding from start to finish. Their bid came in as one of the lowest and with the most top of the line equipment. Removing the old boiler was a daunting task they navigated expertly, took extra steps to make sure the new piping was routed per code (exhaust up and out the chimney rather than the side of the house), removed the old unnecessary piping, and the new copper pipes look like a work of art. We kicked it on and it is heating our home perfectly. They checked and bled all the radiators to make sure they were operating efficiently. Bailey has even been returning to clean the new filters from years of amassed iron sediment in the old radiators. They think of everything to make your new system run clean and have a long life. I cannot wait to see my energy bills go down this winter. Aside from the work being outstanding, they were all so nice and professional, available for immediate install, clean, and communicative every step of the way. Sorry for the long review, I’m just so pleased. Thank you, Controlling Systems. A million times over.

I can't recommend Controlling Systems highly enough. We hired them to install a mini split heat pump (AC & Heat) system in our 1908 house. This was a pretty big installation with 4 mini splits on the main level and a multi-vented blower system on the upper level. We talked to 4 different groups and got bids before going with Controlling Systems. They were really well priced, but it was their understanding of the technology and what the job was going to entail that put them heads above everyone else. This was a somewhat complicated job with the age of the house. They did an amazing job from evaluation to quoting to installing and follow-up. Chris was great to work with and Rudy went above and beyond to make sure everything looked great as well as worked great. Professional, honest, just really outstanding. You want to talk to these guys!

We were having a lot of trouble finding someone to come work on our system. Once we got paired with Anthony, it was great. He was knowledgeable, worked hard and got our job done timely. I would highly recommend him.

Shad was great! He was on time, gave me a call beforehand to let me know at what time he would arrive. Once on site he worked quickly, helped me troubleshoot a broken GFI and installed a security camera that was very gnarly to wire. I’d absolutely hire Controlling Systems again.

We have used controlling systems for a few years and they are always so professional and honest which I feel like is rare these days.
They let you know when they are on the way and it’s often ahead of schedule which I appreciate. They wear booties in the house and talk you through the service.

Update 12/29/23: again I had Controlling systems handle the maintenance at my home and rental properties. Izzy is one of their best. He is very detailed and doesn’t miss anything. Very happy with him and Controlling Systems. Great Company with Great People.

Our church used Controlling Systems to install air conditioning. We talked to several companies. Controlling Systems wasn’t the cheapest but they were far and away the most professional. Elijah and Brandon were very reliable and expert technicians and the service was excellent. They answered our questions, came up with workable, economical solutions when they encountered problems and returned calls promptly. We feel that everyone went above and beyond to make the project successful. We’re very happy.

I've been a customer for many years, and have always had excellent repair service for my old HVAC system. When it was time to replace it, I knew I could trust Controlling Systems with the job. Rory and Rudy expertly assessed what we would need and made sure that when Elijah and Brandon came to install the new system, it went smoothly. Everything was explained thoroughly and they made sure that all of our questions were answered. I look forward to many more years of working with this company.

We have a MiniSplit heat pump system that caused us nothing but trouble in the 2 years we have had it. The original installer was of no help in getting the problem resolved. I tried 3 other HVAC companies in an effort to solve the problems, but they could not provide definitive solutions. In desperation, I called Controlling Systems. Their first technician knew we had problems he could not solve so he escalated the problem to their most senior technician. After a thorough analysis he found several problems including some that were not at all obvious. He mapped out a repair plan, gave me a detailed estimate of the cost and I approved the work. They were able to correct the botched installation over a 2-day period and now the system works perfectly. I highly recommend Controlling Systems and they now have a new loyal customer.

I'm very happy I went with Controlling Systems for my major HVAC system overhaul! I upgraded to an electric heat pump hybrid heating/cooling system and an electric heat pump water heater. Chris was very knowledgable about all my different options, and worked with me to choose the best system for my house and my budget. He also got me all the relevant Excel rebates, saving me about $11,000 total. Elijah and his crew did a great job with the installation. Everything went smoothly and was completed much faster than I expected. I definitely recommend this company and would work with them again!
