Alex and his crew did such an amazing job laying turf in our backyard. They are very timely and communicative. I also thought their price for turf was very fair. I can’t wait to enjoy the backyard for many years to come!

We hired Sterling Exteriors to landscape our back yard and we could not be happier with how everything turned out. Alex’s customer service was amazing. He was timely and responsive with his communication, he came to check on progress frequently, and was also very flexible with us throughout the process. Everyone he hired was extremely professional.

Even when we made some changes throughout the project, the crew was very accommodating and worked with us to make sure we liked how things looked before the proceeded any further.

From the beginning he was mindful of our budget and worked with us to ensure that we were able to get the backyard we wanted. We cannot recommend them enough for any landscaping projects and will definitely be referring anyone needing work to them as well!

We recently used Sterling exteriors to landscape the backyard of our home. We are blown away with how wonderful it turned out. Alex and his team were exceptional to work with. They finished the project in a few days and the final result is above and beyond what we even anticipated.

It is a new build that we worried wouldn't allow for much usable backyard space. We had a vision of what we wanted including a good deal of concrete and turf grass, and didn't know if it was possible with the odd sloping of our yard and within budget, but Sterling came in and made it happen. They created an oasis that we never would have thought we'd see in our yard.

WOW! We are more than impressed with Alex and his team at Sterling Exteriors. We highly recommend Alex, his team and anyone affiliated with his projects. From the moment I met Alex he was open and honest about the process. Even better, his pricing is fair and reasonable and the end result will blow you away. Our project included a playground with rubber play mulch, basketball court, couple thousand sqft of artificial turf, in ground trampoline, retaining walls, and a couple of sitting areas. Our project had small delays due to weather but that is to be expected with starting a project in June in Colorado. Even with delays, his team was dedicated to get the project done for our 4th of July celebration. Anyone who walks by our yard says what a great job our contractor did on our project. Alex was great to work with. During our first visit I gave him a rough idea of what I wanted in the backyard. Him and his team nailed it! It was even better than I envisioned it. We are so happy with the results of our complete backyard they did. The crew was so professional, cleaned up after every day and made sure the product was perfect. Never done a backyard from scratch Alex listened to us with what we wanted, and gave us way more than we could imagined for under our budget. We get so many compliments on our backyard and he made our space so functional and comfortable with an amazing putting green to top it off. Seriously don't even think of going with a different company because you will regret it! Alex and his guys are truly top notch and I will be a lifelong customer using them for years to come.

Alex and the team at Sterling Exteriors were fantastic! We had been recommended to use them by another family who had a great experience and I’m thankful to say we had the same! I quoted multiple companies, they weren’t the cheapest but weren’t the most expensive. I prefer a median range company personally! The cheapest seemed too cheap, like they wouldn’t have done a good job and had no warranty included. We needed a portion of our yard leveled up. This required a retaining wall, dirt backfill, moving of sprinkler line, removal or sod, and refill with rock. The job needed to be done quickly to help with a surprise outdoor Christmas present and Sterling Exteriors was able to be quick, efficient, and provide a quality product. Thank you Alex and team!

I'm really impressed. We wanted to transform our backyard to make it nicer and more usable but only had a few high level ideas. Of the various companies we met with, Alex at Sterling Exteriors was the one to ask the most probing questions, best describe the project ideas, and be professional and timely. We had Alex and his crew replace our existing turf and rock. Additionally, we added turf to our front yard. I have to say the quality of work from the old installation to what Alex did is night and day. You could see the seam in the old turf and it became bumpy after a year. The turf is now flawless. Alex responded well when I felt there was a thin area in my rock and immediately brought more rock out. He was very easy to work with and his price is fair.

Melvin Escalante replaced the sprinklers in my front and backyard with water saving rotating sprinklers and repaired three different broken drip lines. After just a couple days of using the new sprinklers, the sprinklers in the front yard began to pour out water from the base of the sprinkler. I called Melvin back and he returned the day I called him. Melvin reported that the sprinklers were “stomped on” and that someone had broken them, yet there were no signs of physical damage that I could see. I paid Melvin for these repairs. Within 2 days of the repair work, the same front yard sprinklers began pouring out water at the base of the sprinkler again . I also noticed that there was an issue with two of the sprinklers in the backyard and one of the drip system repairs that Melvin supposedly repaired was completely broken and, when that particular drip was on, water was spraying out from the drip hose. I called Melvin again, but this time he did not respond. I then called and texted him several times over the next two weeks with no response.

I ended up having to call another landscaper to fix the issues. This landscaper had to replace several parts on the sprinkler heads installed and repaired by Melvin. It turns out that Melvin used very cheap parts in the sprinkler that could not handle the pressure of the line. As for the “repaired” drip line in the backyard, Melvin did not use a metal bracket to attach the old drip line to the new drip line. I’m not exactly sure how he repaired that because the two lines were not connected when the other landscaper looked at them .

I will never recommend Melvin as he is unprofessional and does not stand behind his work. It also cost me much more money to repair the work he was supposed to have done right the first time.

AGR Construction has done multiple excellent construction and landscaping jobs for me over the past 10 years. They have rebuilt my Orthodontic practice and also done many renovations to my personal home. They are currently building a state of the art golf simulator business for us and it’s going beautifully! I called AGR for rescue, after dealing with another hardscape company. The quality is great, and the team works with such focus and attention to detail.

I was impressed by the ownership they took. Irvin was very communicative, and the other staff members were so transparent about what was going on. I always felt looped in.

When quoting a few different companies, I knew that just the suggestions that Irvin was making compared to the other companies was different and the level of detail was a lot better. So even when the price came in a little higher than most, I knew what I was getting was more differentiated and better than elsewhere. Irvin and the team then went on to complete the whole project on time and before the contracted date. We even made a couple of suggested changes and they were able to accommodate. Finally, when it came to finishing the build and payment Irvin was able to deal with all my requests and it was really easy doing business with him. Thanks again Irvin and the team, we love how this turned out!!!

Our initial meeting went really well, and although there was a bit of a delay in getting the quote, I eventually received it and agreed to move forward with a nearly $50,000 project. Unfortunately, after that, communication completely stopped. Despite multiple follow-ups on my end, I never heard back. Disappointed in the lack of professionalism and follow-through.
