Chuck, Jeff and the rest of the DTE Landscaping Team were awesome to work with! They helped me conceptualize, design and build out a fairly extensive front and backyard landscaping project last summer and fall. They and their team are always punctual, professional, responsive, detail-oriented and incredibly hard-working. I would highly recommend Chuck, Jeff and their team to anyone looking to complete a high-quality landscaping project. I am currently working with Down To Earth on a third phase of my landscaping, and will rely on them for future landscaping needs!

DTE is one of the most creative and professional landscape companies in Denver. Their designs and use of functional space are top notch! They use only the best materials and install using the latest industry techniques and processes. Chuck and Jeff are very easy to work with and will listen and adapt to any of your needs. I would recommend them to anyone!

We recently had our backyard landscaped by DTE. After we had a large old maple tree cut down, our backyard was a mix of dirt, volunteer lilacs, weeds and some old overgrown bushes. So we hired a young landscape architect named John Walker Davis (we got his name from our neighbor), and he gave us a really nice landscape plan. He previously had worked at DTE and recommended them to do the installation. They won't be your cheapest option. Our neighbors had gone with a cheaper bid in their project and regretted it, so we decided to trust John Walker. DTE did a great job. Our backyard is on a hill and I wanted to make use of this south-facing slope, so had them put in
a wall and a raised bed garden area. I have never had such a productive garden. They built a great patio, stone steps down to the garden, large rocks to terrace the hill, sod, a new sprinkler system, and a drip system for each of dozens of new plants and bushes. We’ve used much less water this summer and everything is green and thriving. We left a few trees and one lilac bush, otherwise it is all new plantings. They look great. Anything
that died was replaced under warranty. We really liked the attention to detail, and that they came back several times to finish off all of the little punch-list items with no hassle.

Chuck, Jeff and the entire DTE Landscaping team are incredible. We had the team come out to re-sod our entire yard, complete maintenance on our old sprinkler system, install drip line & raised bed, and landscape around the perimeter. Our house looks amazing after what they did. We're so freaking happy with how everything turned out - almost one year later and super grateful customers. We plan to use them for future projects this spring. They are extremely professional and knowledgeable - highly recommend them.

We had the crew at DTE complete a major remodel of our entire outdoor space, front yard and back yard. The experience was wonderful. They were always professional, on time, efficient and easy to get ahold of and communicate with. What they were able to accomplish in a rather short period of time is remarkable. They also helped us with some of the design changes and their suggestions were crucial in the final look!! We absolutely love it and would recommend these guys to anyone needing outdoor landscaping or remodelling done.

Ive been following these guys for a few years now. From their leadership, their reach out to the community is something Im excited to see. You can get alot from the Behind the scene moments… how they gather as a company, from their picnic gatherings on their grounds, to how they offer free material they pulled from jobs to their local neighborhoods. We engaged DTE Landscaping for a large landscaping project that included plantings, hardscape, concrete walls, lighting and electrical work, turf, and custom fencing. We could not be more pleased with the project.

The DTE crew work ethic and attention to detail and quality is difficult to find. They were open and flexible with changes as the project progressed and quickly fixed any details that needed adjustment.

I believe a contractors true character is shown with how they respond to mistakes. Our project, like any, was not immune to slight delays due to a mistake, or a last minute discovery. Most of these issues were identified by Jeff or Chuck, and were presented to us with a solution already proposed without us having to point it out. On the rare occasion where we discovered an issue, they acknowledged it, agreed it needed fixed, and we quickly agreed on an appropriate remedy without fuss, warnings of delays, or requests for additional payment. The DTE folks are fantastic to do business with and turned out a stunning project for us

DTE Landscaping did a fantastic job with our very challenging backyard. Not only are they professional, but they are also friendly, responsive, responsible, and flexible.
Our backyard is on the side of a mountain. There is limited access for equipment and materials, it’s not level, and rocks large and small impact access and planting space. The work we needed was extensive – it included complete re-landscaping, construction of two flagstone patios with stairway access to each, adding a water feature and fire pit, building plant-lined steppingstone paths and log benches, and adding lighting and irrigation.
DTE creatively overcame many obstacles (both anticipated, and those that arose as work progressed) to leave us with an utterly transformed outdoor space. It’s become my favorite place to spend time. I never tire of looking at the beautiful plants and fixtures in the little oasis they created, and the birds, bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds love it, too.
Despite all the obstacles, the job was completed on time, within budget, and with attention to even the smallest detail. I especially appreciate the way DTE stands behind their work and the great attitude the entire company has. I happily and without reservation recommend them and will certainly hope to work with them in the future, should I have another excuse to do more work on our property!

Jeff, Charlie and Will handled the installation of our plants and style elements with care and attention to detail, and the team was professional throughout the process. DTE collaborated with us to transform our backyard, bringing our vision to life and working within our budget. What was an overgrown lawn before is now a functional space for passing time and barbecues with friends. We asked for low maintenance and they delivered, provided us with a blank slate to make our own and a fully retrofitted irrigation system. This project added so much value to our home and we couldn’t be happier with the results!

Still a satisfied customer! Last spring we hired them to do our landscaping on our new build in copper leaf. I had 4 other landscaping companies come out and give bids and proposed design. We went with Down to Earth we felt their ideas had the most creative ideas and aligned with our ideas the best! The exceeded our expectations! The were done on time, didn’t mess around! We have watched our neighbors go with a variety of other landscaping companies several of their yards look average and blah. Some of them have many dead trees and edging coming up. We are always saying to each other we are so glad we didn’t go with the other company! We are so glad we went with Down to Earth we are even having them now do our front yard!

Chuck, Jeff, and the entire DTE Landscaping crew were an absolute pleasure to work with. Honestly, DTE Landscaping is how more businesses should be run. They built a large patio for us out of the space that was a dirty dog-run and it is a total yard transformation. We can't stop talking about how stunning our patio and built-in wood fire pit is and what a great investment it is for our home and family. When I first met Chuck and Jeff in our early meetings, they really took the time to answer all of our questions and thoroughly review the space to see what the best options were for us to achieve our patio goal. The area was not completely level, so there was some discussion around this and these guys were super patient, realistic, and professional. We had a quote from another larger nation-wide hardscaping company, but I am so thankful we chose to work with DTE because their attention to detail was really notable and they made sure to check in with us about various elements of the work as the project was underway. They also worked on a weekend to keep on schedule and finish the project after they had to start a day later because of a March snow. It wouldn't have bothered me one bit if it got delayed a few days, but they were committed! They are good guys and their team members are good guys too. Hands down I would recommend them. Not to mention they are a local company, one that I am happy to write a glowing review for. :)

The DTE Landscaping Team is the best of the best. They transformed our yard to the best possible outdoor living space we could ever imagine. They did our front and backyard (pictures below of the backyard, now and before their transformation, as well as the new front yard). From the onset of the process, Chuck and Jeff were consummate professionals, and frankly, just wonderful human beings. They clearly explained their process, what to expect and were always open to questions. We ended up adding pavers to our plan (I highly recommend!), as well as fencing. They were flexible and accommodating. Their crew was equally as professional and wonderful. Colin, the foreman, took a genuine interest in our family's needs, and really got to know us to ensure the space was what we were looking for. Colin took time to answer our questions and brought a unique perspective to the project from design to construction, and everything in between. He truly took on this project with pride, as if it was his outdoor living space. Pedro, Colin, Peter and Will were amazing, hard workers and always willing to help. Pedro took the time to explain the irrigation system in detail to my husband, and his expertise in this area is top notch. Thank you, thank you DTE Landscaping for transforming our yard to an outdoor living space where we will make memories for years to come. While our 'job' was finished today, we cannot wait to call on the DTE Landscaping for future enhancements, such as a fire pit, in the future. This company is redoing my neighbors entire backyard. It’s looking fabulous! Unrelated to the job at my neighbors, our outdoor lighting recently stopped working. I asked one of the guys if he could have a look. He was kind as can be and came to checkout our landscaping lighting. Within 10min he determined that an electrical line had been cut when we had some sprinkler work done. He was able to fix it quickly and get back to work on my neighbors project. I really appreciated the help and how quick he was able to resolve something that would’ve taken me a week to figure out.

DTE Landscaping was fantastic from start to finish. The crew was professional, polite, and respectful of our property every day on site. The design they put together was thoughtful and beautiful, and the finished work is truly exceptional, exactly what we hoped for and then some. Great communication, on-time, and a spotless cleanup.
