The team at Sensible Heating and Cooling were the most timely and efficient HVAC business I have ever worked with. The quote given was honored and the work completed was done in a professional and timely manner, Aaron covered all my personal belongings so that items weren't damaged do to the additional work needed to install my new furnace. The team definitely took the time, care, and sensitivity to provide the best costumer service I have ever encountered. I highly recommend this HVAC company.

Aaron came in a flash when I called Erika at Sensible Heating and Cooling and said our renters just told us the heat wasn't working on a VERY cold winter day last week.....YIKES!!!

This beloved family home has been with us since Great Aunt Irma built it in 1942, and carries a lot of cherished memories. It has a boiler system and not many places really know how to handle this fabulous type of system. We rent our home on a very selective basis, and want to make sure our tenants are well taken care of.

So of course this heating crisis happened just months after our repair and maintenance man we've relied on for DECADES retired and moved to Arizona. Starting over isn't easy when in a crisis!

Fortunately I was referred to Sensible Heating and Cooling by another friend in that part of Denver. (I think I owe her dinner for that great favor!)
The repair was FAST, SUCCESSFUL and REASONABLE. I have never felt so well taken care of in my life!

Other vendors might have charged an arm and a leg to an out-of-town landlord like me, knowing I was totally over a barrel in this emergency. But Sensible Heating and Cooling lived up to their name, and were totally honorable in all possible ways.

Today I just bought an annual contract with them for yearly preventative maintenance checks of our boiler system, which Aaron will most capably implement.

To me, the Sensible Heating and Cooling motto could be, "A friend in need, is a friend INDEED!" Thanks Erika and Aaron. :) :) :)

My experience working with Sensible Heating and Cooling was great! Neil was able to answer any and all questions I had and help me figure out the right HVAC system for the size of my house and my needs. Then on the days of the install Frank, Jared, and Zach were all timely, courteous, and friendly and answered any questions I had as well as asking my opinion on things like the outdoor units placement and making sure it was in an ok spot on my patio to be out of my way. I'd happily recommend Sensible to anyone looking an HVAC company!

I have been coming to these guys for years and two different houses. There is no one better at trouble shoot an existing HVAC system. If I ever get to set up a new HVAC system Sensible Heating is the first call I will make!

Aaron Small repaired my manual fan in the HVAC system. He corrected wiring issues and left with it working as I wished. I have received spring and fall tune-ups from Sensible Heating and Cooling for my furnace and central air unit for several years. Scheduling appointments with Erika is a breeze, and I receive confirmation notices via email and a phone call when the technician is on the way. I like very much supporting a small business for my maintenance needs, and it is easy to love Sensible Heating and Cooling.

We called Sensible Heating and Cooling, along with several other companies, to provide an estimate to replace our air conditioning unit. They were by far the fastest responding company and easily provided the best quote. They also offered replacement before the other companies could, which is quite a deal breaker when your air conditioning breaks mid summer. Phil came to the house to provide the estimate and was able to fully explain everything to us. We decided to replace our furnace as well since it was at the end of life and he was able to secure several rebates, bringing down the overall cost substantially. They showed up on time, were very professional, and left me with zero reservations when leaving them in the house to run errands and pick up the kids. They cleaned up their messes and made sure we understood our system prior to leaving. The best part was their customer service. I had joked with Phil that obviously he sees people at rough times in their life so he should bring ice cream when he makes house visits since their homes are sure to feel miserable. A couple weeks later, we received a gift card for Coldstone in the mail! This company is the best. I would highly recommend.

Sensible installed my furnace & AC unit in 2012. When l called When my furnace quit working they were out the next day. They repaired the furnace and the cost was reasonable. I highly recommend this company!

I spent a few months shopping around for a new Furnace & AC and was set to go with another vendor for a very small pricing advantage due to manufacturers rebates on the equipment. With the other vendor I had 4 weeks of scheduling conflicts and miscommunication about the availability of the equipment rebate which negated any pricing advantage, I called Allie at Sensible and she had Dan out to give another quote and finish the install in 3 days. They left the work area cleaner than when they arrived and kept noise to a minimum.

Sensible Heating & Cooling was an absolute pleasure to work with! I got two additional estimates from other HVAC companies and was not impressed. Neither company was confident that they could get the job done. I had a new modulating furnace, modulating A/C, communicating thermostat, new high performance air cleaner/filter, steam humidifier, AND tankless water heater installed. Some of it had to be retrofitted and it was done in a small space. It was a complicated job and took 5 days to complete, but it was well worth it! Phil, Neil, Devon, and Preston were friendly and respectful of our home when work was being done. They are great guys! Jo, Erika, and Stephen were also great to work with! I could not be more happy with the work that has been done. I would highly recommend them!

We had a very complicated issue with our 19 year old geothermal system. Aaron is a highly intelligent technician who thinks outside the box. He was persistent in finding a solution for us rather than having to (very expensively) replace the whole system. We could not ask for a better, more service-oriented person to work with. We lack enough positive words to describe how highly we recommend Aaron and Sensible Heating!!!!!!!

I can not recommend Sensible Heating enough. They spent many months working with us on our new house and the HVAC system works perfectly.
Dan designed a very complicated geothermal heating system and laid the tubing during a blizzard just so our project would not be delayed. When all other contractors did not work, Dan was there.
Phil, Aaron, Neil and Eric were great to work with, extremely professional, straight forward, honest and pleasant to talk to.
Of the dozen companies we worked with the build our house, Sensible was by far the best to work with.

Eric was professional, informed and great to work with. Did great at trouble-shooting our hot water heating problems and worked with tank manufacturer on warranty coverage.

Liked working with Eric so much that i signed up for yearly furnace maintenance with him next week.

Aaron spoke to me on the phone and i told him what the blinking lights on the furnace were showing. he was able to replace the broken blower motor in an hour. had the correct part on his truck and because we have a service agreement also received a 15% discount which was great news. i highly recommend sensible heating. great service and great prices. very responsive.

I've used Sensible Heating and Cooling for several years now, including installation of our evaporative cooler. I have a service plan that includes yearly start-up and shut-down of the cooler, furnace inspection and maintenance, and water heater inspection. Service is usually done by either Aaron or Eric. Both are knowledgeable, efficient, respectful of property, and never try to sell us something we don't need. This is a well-run company that I highly recommend for maintenance and new installations.

Low pressure, high service. For our furnace replacement with new AC they solved a piping problem that other reputable vendors would not try. Estimator and part-owner Phil is informative and responsive. He came out twice during the install. Installers were sharp and hard-working. Walter was willing to answer any question about what they were doing, how things worked, or how to operate and maintain the equipment. They include permitting, and rebate processing in their quite reasonable price. These folks seem to enjoy their work and care about how it comes out. A great value.

We had an awesome experience with Sensible Heating! They were able to squeeze us in for same day service which was surprising! The tech arrived and reviewed the thermostat issue with me. He solved that thermostat issue and then noticed a problem I didn't know we had--the system was short-cycling because the furnace was getting too hot. He sped the fan up and the issue was resolved. Devon was friendly and professional and didn't stop until the issue was solved. Thanks!

We hadn't been in our new house long when the air conditioner conked out on the hottest day of summer. The company we called to repair it recommended we look at replacing it if the repair didn't last, and casually mentioned a ballpark cost. Off he went but we never heard back from their sales office or anyone. A contractor we trust and use for everything referred us to Sensible, and we ended up getting a great new unit. It was kind of expensive but Phil took his time and was at our house twice to take careful measurements and recommend the right size machine for our space and layout. The old machine didn't cool the upstairs well so Phil addressed that and explained how technology has changed since our old unit was put in, especially in efficiency in how they run. Install was on time, professional and courteous! Erika even coordinated the required inspection, super easy for us! We're happy with the experience and would recommend Sensible to anyone who needs a new AC...Plus it runs a lot quieter, bonus!

I was looking for a team that really knew their stuff and cared about each project as if it were in their own home. With that in mind, the team at Sensible exceeded my expectations.

I selected a mid-range, 2 stage heat, 2 stage AC, Bryant system; comparing other top-rated brands and their associated, local installers. The Sales Pro did more to earn my trust than the competition, and a Carrier brand looked/sounded good after weeks of product analysis on the web, talking to neighbors and friends…mulling it over.

When installation day came, two professionals with extensive industry knowledge, decades of experience, standout courtesy and unusual attention to detail, installed/retrofitted the new Bryant system in our 23 year old home. The Ops Manager came himself to ensure a timely delivery during a hot summer — hot for Denver at least. They ensured my very clean home stayed very clean and left the HVAC closet and plumbing in top shape. I am picky, fastidious, politely called “detail-oriented”. Turns out these guys are equally picky.

I researched for days before selecting the Bryant brand and Sensible. I feel fortunate. I hit the jackpot for HVAC professionals.

When I called they scheduled an appointment quickly with the technician who has been here in the past. Aaron was right on time, in fact called and asked if he could come early as was ahead of schedule. He is very knowledgeable about our geothermal/heat pump system and does a through check up on it. He always comes up and explains everything. Great to deal with! Reasonable prices too! Love this company!
