My yard went from a wasteland of dirt and weeds to a delightful little garden that I actually want to spend time in. I live in a townhome community and have a very tiny yard. I had some difficulty getting landscape companies who were actually interested in a job as small as mine. In the end, only 3 of about 6 that I contacted came to give me estimates. I was kept up to date with the scheduling by the office manager, Amber, who never failed to reply to my inquiries in a very timely manner. The job was started and completed exactly when I was told it would be (with some cooperation from the weather) and I could not be happier with the results. Thank you for my new yard!!

Professional team who listens... Russell excelled at understanding our landscape needs as low maintenance and fitting the work into our budget. We love how much easier our backyard is to mow now and will see if the winter front sidewalk puddle decreases with the added rock. Amber was great at communicating quickly and efficiently via email with billing and scheduling.

Thunderbird did an excellent job on our landscaping project. It was a very big project. We have been in our home 33 years so the majority of our landscaping in the front of our house is very old. Dustin came out and put together a new landscaping design as well as picking new block for our walll and new stone on a side path. He made it so everything tied together. We had repairs done to both our front and back paver patios. The expertise of the crews was beyond compare. The sprinkler system was also repaired. These guys did everything! Blake, the project manager, ran the project with such professionalism and made sure all items were completed before moving on!
Bottom line I would definitely recommend this company for your landscaping needs. Wonderful people to work with.

It’s hard to overstate the transformation Thunderbird Design achieved for us. Before this past spring, our yard was such an eyesore that my wife would literally avoid walking or driving in front of our own house because she hated looking at it so much. Today, it’s a complete masterpiece that we are genuinely proud of and we continue to receive compliments on.

We decided to go with a native xeriscaped yard, and the team at Thunderbird proved that 'water-wise' doesn't have to mean 'boring' or 'ugly.' If you work with the right crew, xeriscaping can be stunningly beautiful and lush, and our yard is living proof of that.

Trevor (Designer): Trevor is a saint. He has a brilliant eye for native plants and navigated all my questions and design changes with incredible patience. He truly bent over backwards to ensure the final design was exactly what we wanted.

Amber (Office Manager): Amber made the administrative side of a major overhaul feel easy. She was proactive and ensured we had a comprehensive understanding of the timeline and pricing. Her transparency was so refreshing.

Blake (Project Manager): Blake is a total rockstar. He was on top of everything on-site and kept us in the loop daily. Even when inevitable issues popped up—like specific native plants being out of stock—Blake handled it seamlessly without missing a beat.

The Crew: The boots-on-the-ground team was incredible. They were professional, worked incredibly hard, and actually finished the project ahead of schedule. Most impressively, they did a full cleanup every single day before leaving, which we appreciated so much.

Thunderbird Design didn't just change our landscaping; they changed how we feel about our home. If you’re looking to do a native conversion or a high-end xeriscape, this is the only crew you should call.

Thunderbird did an amazing job with our backyard landscaping for our new build in Sterling Ranch. They were responsive, fast, and did high quality work. They even worked with us around payment when our HOA/CAB was delayed on giving us final approval. Thanks for making this such as great experience!

We completed a massive redesign of our front yard space in late fall/early winter of 2024. The finished product is stunning. Our house sits at the entryway for our tucked-away neighborhood, and also alongside a recreational thoroughfare. The compliments have been endlessly positive! Thunderbird's landscape architect, Russell, worked patiently with us for almost two years to draft, edit, and re-edit (again, and again, and again) as we waited to build up our nest egg for the project and at various points wanted to consider an edited version of the project at a lower price point. Ultimately, we launched the full blown vision which included a walk-out patio and front walkway, a cascading water feature, stone veneer columns and new stone veneer along several walls of the house perimeter. Moreover, Thunderbird worked incredibly well alongside our Deck company who underwent a large scale overhaul of our front deck. The two companies worked well together, respecting each other's timelines and work spaces. As with any construction project, there were hiccups with materials, budgets and design - and things always look worse before they look better! - but Thunderbird was always quick to respond, clarify, edit, reassure and even shoulder some of the added cost when appropriate. We couldn't have been happier with their services and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for landscape design!

Thunderbird did a great job transforming our front yard to a more modern, functional space, including both new hardscape/masonry (front patio and columns/walls) and all new landscape design with the perfect combo of plants, rock and bushes. They were also the least expensive compared to some of the most popular landscape companies in the Douglas County area, saving us lots of money. They are cost-conscious, respectful of your budget, and don’t try to upsell you. Dustin and Blake are great. Very responsive and organized team. Thanks Thunderbird!

I am so happy with the work that Thunderbird Design did for us. Russ was a great designer, working from an old set of plans that I had and updating them to my current vision. Our project manager was Blake and he was really good to work with, helping my husband with a few somewhat major sprinkler issues. The daily crew worked so fast and they made sure that everything was as clean as possible at the end of each day. I'm truly amazed at how quickly they accomplished everything. No call. No show. Not sure how this group is even still in business. After the first no call, no show, spoke to scheduling employee the following day stating she would call the owner and make things right. Still haven’t heard back from her. Plenty of other services out there - don’t waste your time trying to plan around GreenCo. Find somebody trustworthy.

Had a job done and it was very professionally done. The owner of the company was very willing to go out of his way to accommodate me and was extremely helpful. Ill definitely use this company again for any landscaping needs!

Paul with GreenCo was very dependable in the past. This past week he was very undependable. On May 1st we scheduled Greenco to come to to aerate and fertilize my yard on May 8th ( I still have his text message to confirm) I prepared my yard for his arrival. May 8th came -no call , no show. I texted and called him about our appointment . He texted me the next day May 9th) and said he had no record of our appointment. he offered to come out that day. I texted him to come out that afternoon and to let me know what it would cost.
AGAIN NO SHOW OR CALL !

Very thorough, informative, and fast. I will be using them for my backyard for sure. He was there when promised, finished everything in timely manner, and gave a bunch of tips and information for aftercare. They have a good warranty, very friendly and easy to communicate and get a hold of! Recommend!

We had Paul and crew come out to redesign and install a new sprinkler system in our back yard. He was very helpful and went above our expectations. We will have him back out to redo our front yard's system next year.

I am a senior and I am handicapped. I tried to get their attention to stop doing what they were doing and they just ignored me. I Have them on surveillance cause I have surveillance on my lot boundary. These guys always use their blowers to put debris on my porch that could cause me to fall. I really don't want to be in a wheelchair for the rest of my life. I also get debris on my car port. Instead of blowing it away from my home they blow it towards my home. I hate having to constantly gather all my strength just to go out and go over what they have done with my blower. I moved here to make my life more easier. They are not thoughtful or considerat. Even on Columbus day they mow at 8:00 AM. I will never recommend them.

Greenco came out and replaced my valve box manifold for my sprinkler system. Paul and a helping hand also replaced a few sprinkler heads at his recommendation, most of which had to be adjusted or replaced myself shortly afterwards which was mildly frustrating. The reason for 1 star is because the manifold they built wasn't sealed correctly and has a small leak. I called them and kindly asked what the options were for a resolution and the receptionist passed my message onto Paul - who, without seeing the issue or speaking to me directly, blamed me for the leak and refused to help. The receptionist called me back to relay this message from Paul. They offered no resolution whatsoever, and a simple request for advice turned sour. I am shocked. Blaming the customer immediately was the last thing I expected and I was nothing but kind when reaching out. I'm wildly disappointed in their service and regret using them when there are so many competitive options. I hope this helps steer someone looking for a similar service to a different company that values their customers and has a shred of accountability.
