Carolyn Shepherd of Evolve Landscape quoted a design for a mantel and bench that I learned later from her subcontractor physically couldn’t be built to her specifications because she didn’t understand the limitations of the wood. What was FINALLY delivered - after many unanswered texts and phone calls - does not meet the specifications of her original design. I’ve paid over $3k for the work that wasn’t as promised… now she is threatening to put a lien on my home. I’m embarrassed to have been taken in by her promises…

Carolyn Shepherd had me put down $6300.00 as a deposit on a deck. She had a nice exhibit at the Colorado Home and Garden Show so I thought she'd be reputable, but she has my money and won't return my calls and has done no work.

You replied to this review that you would be happy to build a deck for me. I've left a voice mail and an email and still no response. I am retired and have a limited income but I do have the money to finish construction on a deck. Please reply and honor your commitment and build a deck for me. How would you like it if someone took $6300.00 from you and provided no service? I hope we can resolve this matter in the near future.

While they repair my sprinkler system, I gave the direction(note) what they have to fix but they replaced the sprinkler heads without my consent with $30/head and moreover they have not provided a proof which sprinkler heads are changed. They told me they will send a picture but they did not provide it.

Excellent service. Fair pricing. Ramon showed up when he said he would and did excellent work. Will hire again!

Ramon was very professional and explained why we had the problem and fixed it right with a reasonable price as well. I will definitely call them again if I have any other issues. quick response time for repair too

Great experience from start to finish. The team was timely every single day of the project, did quality work and communication was great throughout. Very pleased.

I'm baffled by this company. I would say I'm upset, but I'm rather laughing at the comedy of the situation. Please read ahead.

I had an appt scheduled with this company at 1230 on a Friday. A previous contractor with an 11 am appt - who arrived 1 hr late - was wrapping up around 1245. I get a call from DS&L at 1255 saying the appt was canceled because another contractor was present. Apparently this company had been waiting 3 blocks down the street - out of my sight - for 20 minutes. The following day, I reach out to apologize and ask for a quote. As a supporter of small business, I legitimately wanted to correct the situation and provide DS&L the opportunity for my business. The following text exchange ensues (see images, numbers not shown for privacy).

It sounds like they're angry I had another contractor quoting me, and that I wasn't available at exactly 1230 when meanwhile, they were waiting out of sight and did not attempt to call to notify me that they were here. Thus, I had no way of knowing they were even in the vicinity. I'm interpreting that they are upset at the fact that I am rightfully able to solicit multiple estimates in an open marketplace. It's comical.

As a recommendation for this business, I henceforth encourage better customer service.

Chris is the man! he got me going in the right direction to complete a repair. I will definitely be using this company for all of my sprinkler repairs in the future. 10/10 would recommend.

These guys are the real deal!
I just recently noticed that my sprinklers had quit working and the grass was dying quick. These guys didn't hesitate, they showed up same day and fixed it in no time at all. Thanks again, highly recommended!!!

Used this company two different times last year to come out and help me with my sprinkler system. It’s a new house they were able to help get the sprinkler system activated and then later in the summer helped me replace some poorly operating sprinkler head’s and fix a broken line under a tree root. Great price, highly recommended.

Ramon is very professional and great to work with. His company has redone all of my sprinklers and a retaining wall that is envied by all of my neighbors. Great group to work with!

Ramon met with me to go over my wishes. I was provided A quote sufficiently lower than a competitor.

The individuals doing the install of sod and sprinklers would check in with me to make sure everything was exactly as I wanted it. They even re -did a small portion that wasn’t done to exact perfection (not at my recommendation I was fine w it).

Ramon and his crew did great work for us (patio update, water mitigation, landscape update). Very attentive to detail and listened to our budget needs. Highly recommend.

Ramon was friendly in person, but he quoted me $100+ to remove brush that another guy quoted $50. Then he quoted me $1500 to seed my lawn, when another company quoted $700 for the same services. I asked if they could help on the price, but no negotiation. Very hard to deal with, seemed like they couldn't be bothered with my business, or I was beneath them. I own multiple properties, so that sucks for them, as I could have given them a lot of business, but I'm glad I didn't hire them considering their poor customer service.

We had our entire backyard sprinkler replaced due to some tree roots causing blockage I cannot recommend this company enough! They figured out the issues and had us up and running with 4 new zones in a day! Extremely professional and easy to work with.

I called so many different company's to try to get my sprinklers repaired with zero luck. I found Denver sprinkler on google and they came out two days later. Pedro was very polite and knowledgeable. They did a great job and will definitely keep their number on hand for all my sprinkler needs!

Ramon and guys showed up at our residence on 11/26/19. They shocked are two car driveway and front side. They were fast and very professional. This was are first time using them but they gave us good quote I would highly recommend them. We will use them for other services.

We never write reviews but this company is incredibly unprofessional. We wanted to get an estimate for work because they had good reviews. The estimator that came to our house was so unprofessional, and condesending (he left our property yelling, and swinging his clip board.) Then Ramon, the owner, came out to the house to "make up for the unprofessionalism" we took the time to go over everything (again). Never sent us a quote after he told us he would. Not sure where the good reviews are coming from. But don't waste your time.

Denver Sprinkler is a great company. Ramon was very good about communicating all the way through the course of the project as well as helping make our vision for our backyard renovation become a reality.
