I have been doing stump removal for almost 25 years and splintered Forest is one of the best most professional companies I have ever dealt with. their customers are always very happy and they are great with the particularly hard jobs.

Thes guys left a bad taste in my mouth. Tho the workers and equipment they use are top notch, the management and office can use improvement. After meeting with the owner/estimator and showing him the 30+ trees that needed to be taken down and processed, he assured me that with a little help from me that they would be able to finish the project with two guys and their machines. After the first day they did not finish and were able to get the additional help for the second day, fortunately. The operator told them what was needed to finish and the appropriate amount of manpower was sent for day two. After day two they still did not finish and gave me an additional price for a third day but were unable to reschedule me until 3 weeks out. The price I was initially quoted was doubled due to having to roll into a second day and I am still left with a dozen trees to remove. Also, be aware that they charge you a minimum of 6 hours for the machine for the day if it is sent out, regardless if they use it for 5 minutes or 2 hours. The crew I had was amazing and their equipment is new and in tune.

I had been notified by my home owner's insurance that I needed my property fire mitigated. So I ignored that, but when they threatened to not renew my policy it got my attention. Note to self Ignoring them doesn't work, So Splintered Forest was recommended by my insurance company, so contacted them for a free estimate. Brad and Kara came out and marked trees, boundaries, etc, and in a day or two got back to me with an estimate. It wasn't cheap, but after having them do the work I do feel you get what you pay for. I had a lot of trees trimmed and removed, but I do feel Brad did the best he could by adhering to Colorado State Regs, and wanting to preserve my personal forest. Everyone that came to my property was considerate and respectful to me and to my property. They put the wood where I wanted and the masticator did a great job. I had 2 other estimates, and Splintered Forest was right in the pack. I was impressed with Brad's ethics he has workman's comp on his employees, and his crew is fully insured, as is any accidents that might have happened to my property, and by the way nothing was hurt during my mitigation. Although having to have this done was a traumatic event (I'm a tree hugger at heart), The folks at Splintered Forest made it more pleasant than you would think. Kara is a go getter and sees to every detail with dealing with the insurance company. Can't say enough about this great company, Would have them do it all over again. Great Customer Service, and Great Work!

We’ve used Splintered Forest for a few years for tree services and they’re the best around. We recently had work done and the crew was very respectful, helpful in improving our trees and consciously takes steps to build long term relationships with customers. I highly recommend!

Splintered Forest performed as promised. They removed a large tree and cleaned up better than most do.

Tyler, Luke, and Alec were great. They removed our much loved, 30 yo Cottonwood from our front yard. They were very professional, kind and considerate and left the yard and street clean (except for the pile of firewood and chips that we requested). This was a very sad event for us, but the bright spot was that Splintered Forest did an extremely good job at a reasonable price. I'd use their services again and highly recommend them!

I had 2 huge trees removed and a smaller dead tree near my electrical lines. I highly recommend Splintered Forest from quote to finished work. They are thoroughly professional, prompt and show up when they say they will. Kara was extremely helpful throughout the process getting me answers to all my questions. The gentlemen who showed up to do the work were kind and professional and did an incredible job taking down the trees. They even put the stumps and slash in a tucked away area and cleaned up. Very grateful for their help and professionalism. Highly, highly recommend them.

These guys set themselves apart from the competition in so many ways.

First of all, Brad the owner of the company) lost his own home in a forest fire in 2000. As a result, he has a very personal interest in helping customers protect their homes. He came to my house on a weekend to give me an estimate because I was not able to get time off work during the week.

The other way Splintered Forest is different than the competition: PRICE!! They have the equipment to remove trees much faster than other companies. So the cost is less (never mind their $250,000 investment in the machinery...they don't seem to pass that on to the consumer).

I needed several 50 foot trees removed from a house I recently purchased in Evergreen. All my neighbors said the best price I would be able to find was about $800/tree. Splintered Forest did it for less than HALF of the other tree removal companies.

And not only that....the crew that came to my house was awesome. Very friendly, took great care of my patio furniture which they gladly moved, and cleaned everything up when they were done.

The people at Splintered Forest are excellent to work with. Both Brad and Kara are very personable and know their business. The two gentlemen who came out to do the work were friendly and very knowledgeable in doing their job. I had a number of burned trees on my property from a fire a number of years ago and they did excellent work in dropping the trees and cutting them up into sections. I did not have to stand around and keep an eye on them. They were efficient, did the work in the time allocated, and the cost was as advertised.

I have used many tree services over the years and Splintered Forest is by far the most professionally run. I have used them twice now and they have been consistently a pleasure to work with. Each time they gave me an estimate that included their proof of insurance, a detailed description of the work they would do and instructions on what they expected from me on the day of the job. The workers showed up as promised and were courteous and careful of my property. The workers were very knowledgeable about trees and more than willing to answer questions about the condition of our trees. The second job entailed removing trees within lawn and garden areas close to the house. Splintered Forest used equipment that let them complete the job without damaging the house or yard. They completed their work as promised and left the property clean and in good condition. Splintered Forest's prices are very reasonable. I have paid other companies more money for similar work and did not receive the level of service that I got from Splintered Forest.

We had a large trunk fall on our house and cause lots of damage. All of the tree services were busy and scheduled out due to the storm. Alex and his crew were down the block from us so we called and asked if they could help. They were very happy to squeeze us in their already busy schedule. They are polite, considerate and very knowledgeable about trees and their work. I'd would definitely use them again and recommend them for anyone. Good company and good people. 5-stars.

Splintered Forest was one of six estimates that we researched before deciding on this company. They were very knowledgeable and prompt at the time of the estimate and at the time of service. The crew worked together as a team and presented themselves as professionals. We had two large trees removed that were very near our home and the stumps ground. They were done within two hours and the cleanup was impressive. I highly recommend this company for any kind of arborist work. Great job guys!!!

Having fire mitigation was no fun, losing trees we didn't want to lose - but Splintered Forest made the process as painless as possible. They explained exactly what they were doing and why during the estimation process. They showed up on time and continued to be great communicators throughout the actual work performed. The crew did a great job of cleaning up after the job. Lastly, they worked directly with our insurance company to make sure everything was approved. Highly recommend.

Very professional company and fair pricing. I had them do an EAB treatment on my ash tree. I like how flexible they are with scheduling and their arborists are very knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

Splintered Forest was fantastic to work with. Making the decision to take down this tree was a tough one. It needed to come down, but all of the quotes we received were super expensive and would take a couple days due to the complexity of the location. Splintered Forest came in with the lowest quote and said they’d get it all done in a few hours…and they did! They were very respectful and communicative during the process. They were able to do monthly payments with no extra fees. I highly recommend them! And if you can, watch the process. Their machines are really cool!

My experience with Splintered Forest was wonderful. All the workers were kind and answered all of my questions, without hesitation. John, the arborist, was so knowledgeable about my tree and what had been killing it. The workers did a great job of safely bringing down my tree. They cleaned up so well you could hardly tell they were there. I will definitely recommend them and use them if I have future needs.

Splintered Forest and Tree Services did a great job, from start to finish. Several large trees ,too close to our house needed to be removed. No damages to the property or to the buildings.

Alex Gulledge was our operator today and I needed to place a 1000 pound I-beam into my garage addition and I was impressesed with both the dexterity and professionalism shown by Alex. Their Knuckle boom crane has alot of capability in a small package. He had no problem getting up our driveway and accomplishing all my requests. It was worth every penny and Alex was a pleasure to work with... very safe and professional.
