The crew from Splintered Forest was efficient, professional and highly talented in removing four dead large Aspen trees and a pine tree from our property. Very skilled and knowledgeable.

We used Splintered Forest to remove 2 cottonwoods and 2 elms from out yard in Englewood. Kara, who runs the office was extremely professional and helpful through the whole process. The crew that showed up was on time, friendly, and quick. They cleaned up after themselves, didn't leave us with a bunch of sticks or branches in the yard and were respectful of our property. The large crane/claw they use makes removal take about half as long as it would with a cherry picker and seems much safer for the crew. Will definitely use them again in the future.

Had a great experience with Splintered Forest performing insurance-related fire mitigation at our mountain house - everyone involved was easy to work with and willing to answer all of my questions. The forester came out quickly, and the bid was reasonable. The crew that came to perform the work was on time, and very efficient, and took down all that was marked. Front office staff was wonderful, and always returned emails quickly.
    Can't recommend highly enough!

Splintered Forest(SF) removed a 170 year old spruce tree that the wind fell on our home in Conifer in early April. This was a technically difficult and time sensitive project that SF altered their schedule to accomplish. They did a great job and cleaned up lots of debris as well. Highly recommend them for tree removal.

Tree removal at a great price. Good communication with us, which was important as we were not in the area during the time scheduled for the work to be done.
    Thanks

Highly recommend Splintered Forest! This is our second time using them and just as happy with them this time. They got out quickly for an estimate, scheduling was easy, and the crew was outstanding! I added another 15-20 trees at the last minute and they got it done, along with the original trees scheduled, in less than two days. They have the most amazing equipment and crew. They made quick work of roughly 40 trees. Very friendly and professional crew!

I've used Splintered Forest several times and they have always done excellent work at competitive prices. The job included cutting down and hauling away eight trees. They left the area neat and clean.

Splintered Forest was amazing! Communication regarding our extensive project was great. Brad and the crew did a great job in the field. So nice! They were great about communicating during the project. Kara, in the office, was very quick and helpful with scheduling, communication about the project and billing. We were amazed at how quickly the work was completed. The spreading of the wood chips has made the forest floor look great. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to friends.

We had a tree land on our house during a strong wind storm and the crew came out quickly after the storm to remove the tree. Clean and precise! Tip top tree service, highly recommend!

The company arrived promptly. I’ve never seen such a well run operation. Everything from set up to clean up was professional and efficient. I had a huge job for them and they handled it like it was easy. They didn’t rush but were off my property in about 3 hours.

A much-valued tree in our backyard was destabilized by voles and high winds, requiring me to provide temporary support. I called Splintered Forest for advice, since they had solved a number of issues for us in the past.
Kara quickly responded, followed by a visit by Brad, who quickly came up with a plan to stabilize, and gradually re-establish the tree's integrity.
Quick, effective, professional service, bsed on decades of experience: Splintered Forest's stock-in-trade.

Submitted an on-line estimate request with Splintered Forest. Received an email the next business day stating they could send an estimator out right away to look at some of of Pine trees we were concerned about (dropping more needles than what we remembered from years past). Anyway, Brad showed up and walked our property with me and assured me what we were noticing is quite normal this time of year. After a short, but very informative education on pine tree basics, he told me what to look out for in the future that would be of concern, and that they could come out to treat any trees affected. Even though there was no actual work done, I would highly recommend Splintered Tree Service just based on today's experience. Thank you!

We had the very fortunate opportunity to use Splintered Forest Tree Services to remove two large 20,000 pd trees from our residence in the Wellshire neighborhood of Denver. Alex, Joe and Will were extremely professional. The job required a large truck to move a crane outfitted with a Mecani grapple saw up to our front yard behind our backyard fence; alturnamats were laid down to protect the lawn. The guys inspected the trees, operated the saws from the crane to cut large trunk portions and often had to cut limbs from a very tall height. The crane was than operated to collect the large trunks and limbs from the lower yard, moving them to the front for tree grinding. These guys were vigilant during the whole process, which lasted about 7 hours. No dragging large limbs or branches across our grass; it was an impressive operation to watch and we never had any safety concerns. The cost for this tree removal service was more than competitive. We highly recommend this company to any homeowner faced with the unfortunate decision of removing large majestic trees, especially those that have overgrown their property and may pose safety concerns. The crew was meticulous in their respective jobs and the clean up was amazing. We so appreciate these men for how exceptional they were and the care they take in their jobs. And finally, the estimator Brad showed up to provide a very quick bid that we received the same day; Kiera in the office was a pleasure to work with by phone to arrange this contract. We highly recommend Splintered Forest for tree removal and stump grinding, especially if facing a challenging one! Thank you! T & K Mcginley

Their guys really seemed to know what they are doing. They did a fine job of pruning my 50 year old Honey Locust tree. They offered a hormone treatment to slow the tree's growth for 3 years in order to help it survive. They will be back in the spring to apply the treatment.

I have six trees in my yard that vary in size. Bear Creek was hired to trim and shape the trees. This is the second time that I used this company. I was pleased with the service the first time, which was at a property as a different location. The second time there were some issues, but the management staff, responded to the situation and I was pleased with the final outcome.
The management is very responsive and I felt like they want the customer to be pleased with the work that they do.
For best results, be sure to meet with the crew before they start and before they pack up to leave. Be clear about what you want and what you convey to the crew that comes to do your work. My personal preference for having good looking trees is to 1. prune branches that are competing with other branches for light; 2. trim branches that are growing downward; and 3. ultimately, the tree should look balanced.

We're so happy with the service provided. They responded very promptly to our messages and they did an excellent job taking down the tree we needed to have removed (and it was in an awkward position almost leaning against our property). Affordable and great service!
