I had a very large Bald Cypress removed. The price was reasonable. The workers were professional and kind. I recommend them highly.

Excellent! Davey always does great work I was able schedule ash tree trimming quickly and the crew came the next day. Glad I was able to get this done during the off-season.

This is actually a second review (for 2025) for Davey Tree. They came out this past September and did a big job removing two trees from our backyard and as always did a fabulous job. Then I had them come out again this past October to trim some encroaching branches and limbs from a neighbors tree growing over my roof. As per usual, Davey Tree hit another home run doing a fantastic job. The crews for both jobs were wonderful and each man that was in the bucket lift (two different men) for each job did such amazing work. I'm so impressed with their expertise! The Davey Tree Company equals excellence from James Doak, my Sales Arborist to every single member of each crew.

The 3 representatives of Davey Tree pruned 6 different areas of Trees on my property today and did a fantastic job! Their level of experience was 8, 5 and 3years with Davey. They were very professional and clean up was outstanding. I am a first time client of Davey Tree.

I had am amazing experience with Davey Tree. It was easy to schedule a consultation with them, Mark had a great eye for what my insurance company wouldn't like when it came to trees around my mountain property. By next week the team came out and quickly completed the project and even left some "logs" in my kid's little red wagon for them to play with. Would 10/10 recommend them and use this company in the future.

I am happy to share my excellent experience with The Davey Tree Expert Company. I had a tree project in Sept 2025 and now again in Dec 2025. Both times they exceeded my expectations. Alex, foreman, and his crew Roger, Elicio and Dalton worked like a fine oiled machine. I am amazed at their strength, precision and work ethic. James Doak, Estimator, is timely with his scheduling, available, and reasonable with pricing. The Colorado wind stopped work on day one and the completion was immediately scheduled for the following morning. Dan, foreman, and his crew Roger and Elicio arrived and completed the project also maintaining the high quality of workmanship. I will continue to work with Davey Tree Experts going forward.

The Davey team did a great job trimming 3 Ash, 2 Crabapples and 1 Redbud for me. They arrived as requested, allowed me to explain my trimming requests, offered additional suggestions, checked in with me through the process to ensure my requests were being met, cleaned up and finished in a timely manner. They were both pleasant and easy to work with - and all of this for a very reasonable price. I also use Davey for my tree fertilization and Emerald Ash Borer treatments throughout the year, and so far, they've all remained very healthy!

Chris provided our monthly deep root watering for our pine trees. He did a great job along with Miguel and everyone else that helps us monthly. We have had this service for several years and it is invaluable, especially with the dry season this year. No way I could do this as effectively myself. Thank you Davey Tree !

Overall a good experience. Staff was responsive and handled all the permits. Straight forward in communication. We asked them to notify us 30 minutes before they arrived so we could have someone meet them there which they did. We did not give them 5 stars b/c of the lack of attention to detail on cleanup and post care of our house. They did everything they were supposed to in regard to removing a tree and trimming a tree. However they did not remove all of the branches on the ground like they said they would. They did not replace one of the downspout splash guards which resulted in water accumulating next to our house as it rained between the trimming and us getting back home. We have not moved into the home yet so there were several days of stagnant water. Finally they either knocked off or broke one of the solar powered night lights on our fence. Again we haven't moved in yet and plan on replacing the fence anyway, but again attention to detail is lacking in their post cleanup phase. Would still likely use them again as they got the job done but would definitely go out of our way to make sure they do the proper cleanup and post care as well.

We recently had a large Aspen tree removed from our back yard in Lone Tree. The tree was in a tricky location, so the team at Splintered Forest used their cutting crane. It was one of the coolest things to watch. What an amazing piece of machinery and it was used to precision. It would have taken a dozen guys multiple hours to do the job, but the crane cut and removed the tree in minutes. Start to finish maybe 45 minutes from when my doorbell rang to when they had cleaned up and said good bye....wow.

Very fair price, outstanding work and state-of-the-art equipment.

This is the second time we have used Splintered Forest for tree work and fire mitigation on our property. We are extremely pleased with their services, communication, and positive professionalism. The results of their work makes us safer from a fire prevention standpoint and enhances the appearance and enjoyment of our mountain sanctuary.

Scott and Jacob arrived on time and were on the task within minutes of arrival. They were polite, answered all questions, asked for feedback, and provided recommendations and insights into the health of our trees and efforts so far. When I asked for certain areas or specific trees to receive more attention or focus, they happily obliged. There are areas of our property that will now receive more sun that will create more opportunities for natural grasses and wild flowers to grow.

Living in the mountains and foothills comes with a level of responsibility for maintaining a healthy ecosystem and prudent defenses against wildfire for homes and property, your own and your neighbors'. It requires an investment of resources. The team at Splintered Forest understands this. Can't say enough about Splintered Forest! Lost multiple limbs on my tree with this massive March storm. Splintered Forest was able to coordinate, schedule and have a crew arrive at my house the next morning! Huge shout out to Kara, John and crew for taking care of my situation so promptly. You guys are the best!

I had a very large Siberian elm tree removed by the most awesome crew I could have found. I had upwards of 20 estimates for this tree removal. Splintered Forest was not the cheapest, but very fair priced considering the equipment used. They came and removed this large tree on a Sunday(which was very convenient for my schedule). Many other companies told me this tree would be a three day take down and would leave many divots in my yard. Splintered Forest used their crane and made short work of this giant tree. They showed up in the time frame that was given to me and were ready to work. This tree came down in about 7 hours. Wow! Only 1 part of the tree needed to be dropped in the yard and the workers did everything they could do not damage my yard. Afterwards there were no divots in the yard and honestly the crew went above and beyond to make my property look nicer than it did when they got there. This tree was partially hanging over my neighbors property and most of the tree was lifted over their property, with no damage done. The workers cleaned up the neighbors property and they were very happy with the work done as well. The crane brought attention from many people in the neighborhood and we had lots of people stop by to watch these guys at work. The 3-man crew stayed busy all day and made sure that we were happy with the job. I would recommend Splintered Forest to anyone looking to have any tree work done. If nothing else just watching this tree removal was amazing.

This is a great company! Their positive marks started with their response to our inquiry for service. They were quick to provide a clearly stated bid, then followed up with scheduling. When an opening occurred ahead of our scheduled date, they reached out to complete our job earlier. On-site they were professional and meticulous, working with high energy and real skill. We had Splintered Forest work out property fire mitigation and defensible space plan for our 2 acre mountain property for insurance. The Staff are very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly, and have great communication. We easily worked out which things we would do ourselves and what they could help us with. Their estimate for work they would do was very reasonable and a lot lower than we expected! Very high quality work for reasonable price which is hard to find these days. I have referred them to several friends and they are also very satisfied with the cost and quality of work performed. A+++++ Company to do business with.

Alex and his associate were courteous and professional. Upon arrival, he checked to make sure that my vehicle wasn’t blocked inside the garage if I needed to leave. Their equipment was first rate , allowing the job to be done safely and quickly. They removed 3 - 30 foot pine trees and a 10-15 foot snag that was brought down in the last wind storm in about 2 hours. And, spent time cleaning up the site when they were done! This group of foresters/arborists is top notch! They were able to remove hundreds of trees, some damaged some over crowded over a 3 day period. We were impressed with the initial bid and even more impressed with the professionalism. The crew arrived on time every day and knew exactly what to do. There was no wasted time and they completed the job and the clean up with professionalism. I will recommend Splintered Forest to my friends as well as my real estate clients.

Splintered forest did an excellent job taking down my trees, which were adjacent to my house and would have been very difficult for me to take down safely. They were professional, competent, and efficient. They showed up on time, worked the entire day and cleaned up after themselves. Their equipment is amazing and their skills cutting trees are impressive. They were polite and overall just nice people I will definitely use them again. One of the best contractors I’ve ever usend.
