We are very happy with all the work done by Zak George Landscaping. This was a complete remake of our yard, both front and back. It involved demolishing old patios, flagstone, erecting a raised sitting platform and short walls trimming the property. In the front, a new courtyard was built.
The company listened patiently to every question or comment. They always responded with a positive and supportive attitude to make the changes we requested.
In addition, the work crews were always punctual, friendly and neat. They were very attentive to our privacy. Everyone on the crew worked extremely hard. They always put in a full day's work.

We would recommend Zak George Landscaping wholeheartedly and without reservation.

Our front courtyard had been deteriorating for many years due to poor design and construction techniques used by the new home builder. As we moved through a complete tear-out and rebuild we needed help with design and construction of the new landscape as well as adjusting the details to suit our HOA. Jason at Zak George Landscaping worked long and hard to get us from the design to the finished product. He always had a positive, friendly attitude, especially during times when the HOA had a "new" requirement that needed as new solution. The entire process including HOA approvals took over a year. Zak George Landscaping "put the bow" on our new focal point courtyard.

We appreciated the continued focus and perseverance from Jason as we worked through this complicated project. We're now planning and additional project to convert some thirsty turf to water conserving high plains foliage and Zak George Landscaping is going to be our choice.

Turf Tamers were super professional and friendly. We wanted our backyard updated with new grass and stump removal. We also wanted to beautify our front walk, and they were the right team for the job. They came out in a timely manner to walk us through our property and made many great recommendations. They then started working as soon as they could and got the job done in just a few days. They were very communicative and willing to make any changes and updates that we needed. We will definitely use them for any future jobs we have.

My husband and I are so impressed with how good a job Brian and his crew did on our yard. We were having a hard time keeping up on our yard and was getting overwhelming for us but they came in and mowed our yard cleaned up the leaves that had gotten out of hand for us and trimed some trees and cut back our hedge both on the yard side and on the street side and they halled it all away for us . This is the second time that we hired them and both times very happy with their work . I would recommend them to anyone needing anything done with their yard and now we can enjoy ours again. Thanks

Turf Tamers was hired to remove an old wooden deck off the back of our home, and install a paver patio, along with some tree/brush removal along the side of our home that was overgrown, and replace it with a flagstone path. Brian McKnight (owner, along with wife Mary), submitted a bid that was definitely in our budget and much lower than two other bids we sought. Along with that, there was some irrigation changes and other smaller jobs that we had Brian and his crew accomplish. At this time, our patio is finished, and looks great. I hope he posts some pictures of it on his website. While not multi-level or extremely extravagant by any means, Brian followed our design and made sure he got it the way we wanted. This adds great value to our home. The side yard is still a work in progress, since two window wells will need replacement, and so that job is around 50% finished. Brian and crew will return in a few short weeks after the wells are replaced and he can safely finish the side yard. Brian is very polite and professional, as were his two crew members that worked along side him. I would not hesitate in hiring Turf Tamers again for another project.

Updated: Our experience this year was much better than in the past. Except for one delayed fertilizer application, everything was done correctly and on time. The price did go up considerably, so we didn't do a dethatching.

I really want to like this company as they are nice people, but we have repeatedly had issues with them. First, they have missed sections of our yard when aerating and had to come back. Second, they are not timely. Today I was told that they would be here 9ish and that they would like someone to be home to "show our crew where to aerate so they don't miss the strip that was overlooked in years past." It is now 1:30 and no one has shown up or called to explain the delay. This has happened before. Also, the price for aeration has more than doubled since 2020!

We are very satisfied with how our grass & irrigation turned out! Staff has been amazing, Andrew has been a very great help with my questions & gets the job done as soon as possible without making us wait! I would definitely recommend them with any landscaping.

I would recommend Turf Tamers to anyone needing professional landscaping help, from spring/fall cleanup to maintenance to irrigation systems. It took me a while to find the right company to do the right job but I couldn't be happier with this family-owned and operated company and their team of hard workers.

Turf Tamers has been our landscaping company for the past 6 years and have done an excellent job. Not only have they done what they are getting paid for, but they have made my lot and grounds look remarkable by going above and beyond what they are contracted to do monthly.
They keep a close eye on all aspects of the trees, grass, shrubs, landscaping, etc., and if there is a problem they take care of it immediately.

Our dogs have destroyed our yard. When I spoke with them, they came out and were able to do the work that week which we really appreciated because we are trying to sell our house. We were so glad they could do the work and so soon. They did a fabulous job and the crew was so nice and friendly. The yard looks great and I am so pleased. They did a wonderful job.
