I had a great experience with Turf Tamers Landscaping. They responded quickly to my request for a bid, provided a professional detailed bid based on an expert review of the work, scheduled the work promptly and completed the work promptly with excellent personnel who were professional, good communicators, kept the site the tidy, and did great work in a timely way. I will use them again for future needs. My yard looks great thanks to them!!

Turf Tamers does all my landscaping. They have planted bushes, trees and put in pebble walkways. They also take care of my lawn and all the cobble edges and mulch. Not to mention getting rid of the leaves in the autumn. Every person that works for them is so nice and hardworking. Brian, Mary and Timothy are wonderful.

Brian McKnight (owner) and his crew provide friendly comprehensive service. Not only did their bid come in a timely manner, but they also started work on the project quickly after I'd signed the contract. Brian provided guidance for how to take care of the new plants for both short and long term. He kindly turned on my irrigation system for the season (above and beyond), and came over (with his son, who clearly is learning the ropes-he was great) on a Saturday to troubleshoot a problem I was having. I've been working with Turf Tamers for three years quite happily, and I plan on continuing to use their tremendous service. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Our side yard has a steep slope with gravel and has been this way for years. We used Turf Tamers to put in a Flagstone walkway this past year and really liked thier work so we had them back to remove tons of rock on the sid yard. We discussed options them and came up with a breeze walkway going down the side yard with trees, shrubs and mulch. They also added a timber step and a timber retaining wall with the landscaping. The crew did some really nice work, very polite on time every day. They are are also very respectful of your property. The work was performed in a very timely manner. We would not hesitate to use them again.

The combination of Dethatch, Aeration, Seed and Fertilizer of the Turf Builder Service has really revitalized our older lawn. It looks better than it has in years. Just had Turf Tamers come for the first time, providing their Turf Builder service for our lawn (de-thatch, aeration, fertilization, and overseed). It looks great right after the service, and I’m excited to see how the lawn responds through this summer season. Loved working with them on this! Last year added mulch to whole area and removed old plants. This year did a great job of adding a new variety of plants to both sides of home.

My large front yard is all closely grown together 20 year old perennial garden. Recently had health issue keeping me from doing a spring clean up. Stuart from Blue Spruce promised to come out as soon as possible to do that for me. He showed up very quickly after the last large snow was all melted and he and his partner did such a beautiful job of carefully removing almost an inch of soggy leaves covering everything (it would have taken me days to do the same job), hauled it all away, and then charged me a hundred less than he'd estimated. Highly recommend!

Stuart and his team at Blue Spruce were a pleasure to work with. My front yard was in pretty sad shape and I wanted something pretty but also low maintenance and environmentally friendly. They installed a beautiful and affordable design which will only grow more lovely in the years to come. They also built beautiful raised beds in my backyard and put me in touch with someone who could teach me how to grow vegetables. We now have a beautiful bounty of food thanks to them! The irrigation was all set up for me so I don't have to worry about running out with the hose to water every day. Stuart was kind, patient, diligent and thoughtful in his approach. He worked hard to stay on budget and meet my expectations. Highly recommended!
