Dominik did a great job troubleshooting our problems with our new furnace installation. He made sure everything was working properly before he left. He explained what the problem was. Great job!!

PVA installed the systems in our house when it was built 5 years ago and remain our 'go to' service company for maintenance and repairs. They always find the time to make it up to our place in a timely manner (we live over 50 miles away) and the work is always done right. The techs are professional and personable, always explaining everything they are doing and adding helpful tips to make sure our systems work properly after they leave. I can't imagine using any other firm for our A/C and furnace. Thanks, PVA!

Phillip was awesome. The minute he got here I knew we'd hired the right people. He was friendly but worked efficiently and was even concerned the duct cleaning would scare my dogs. Our vents definitely needed some TLC and I already feel like I can breathe better. He also serviced the furnace and made sure 100% that is was in working order before leaving. Will be using them again in the future and requesting Phillip as our tech if possible!

I had PV Air do work for me and they did a good job. Since they merged with Lion services I wouldn’t use them as Lion are notorious for gauging customers.

The professional installation team, Nathan and Chris took extreme care in leaving my home In better condition than it was. Couldn’t tell they were even here. Highly recommend!

I was impressed with the estimator, Andrew. I feel the quote was fair and hired them to replace my water heater and to fix my dryer venting. Caleb and Seth exceeded my expectations. They cleaned up the space, showed me how everything works, and revamped my dryer venting. Super impressed and will use them in the future.

Avoid Poudre Valley Air at all costs. We had the Unico AC system installed in our remodeled house last year. We had never used the system until it got hot in the last couple weeks. Before using the AC system we had issue after issue with the thermostats that they installed integrating without our heating system (which they assured us would integrate just fine). We went without heat last winter for days until we had to manually start the heating system, and Poudre Valley Air dragged their feet getting out to us, then sending technicians who did not know how to fix what was going on. After many calls to Poudre Valley Air and several visits they got the head control integrated to the thermostats. We were told the system is all set to go. Then this spring it got hot. We turned the system on and it was not cooling. Several days later they were able to send out techs who informed us there was a leak in the system, supposedly repaired that, and then told us they weren't familiar with the system that their company, Poudre Valley Air, installed. Despite this visit the AC system is LOUD, blows a minimal amount of air, and the air is not cold, just slightly cool. The system we had installed is billed as high velocity, able to cool a room in minutes and QUIET. Two calls were made to the company yesterday. The first was not returned. The second several hours later was answered by someone who 1) knew nothing about the system and 2) said they would call back with someone who knew more. No one called back. Today I spoke to someone and despite their system being an ongoing issue, they have no one to come out to look at it for over a week, and then the person I spoke to couldn't assure me that it was someone who knew the system. This is the same thing that happened last winter/fall when we were having heating and thermostat issues. No one calls you back. No one is available, and when a technician does come out they are not familiar with the system. This is so unacceptable. If we had known what kind of company Poudre Valley Air is we would never have spent a ton of money getting what is thus far a worthless system installed.

Brandon was my tech today and was very thorough with his maintenance. He was very courteous and helpful in explaining things, and just a naturally friendly fellow who enjoyed explaining everything and answering my questions. Good experience.

I needed a second AC unit for upstairs and it was completed within 2 weeks of my first phone call. The sales person and installation crew were extremely knowledgeable and professional. They paid close attention to the things I asked for and met all of my expectations. I would highly recommend Poudre Valley Air to anyone in need of HVAC services.

We have been using Poudre Valley Air since we moved to Old Town in 2010. I highly recommend the service tech we had today. Dominik is polite, professional and efficient. Keep up the great work!

Joe came to help us with our furnace. He had such great customer service skills. My little guy got his first wasp sting and Joe immediately got some mud for me to apply to his neck to help reduce the sting. Joe connected right away with my son to get him distracted and gave him a Gatorade and granola bars which stopped the crying and got him on the mend. Last year, on another unit, Poudre Valley Air placed duct work to get heat upstairs in our old old house and replaced our heater there. Rock was great. He was able to came promptly for an estimate and gave me a very reasonable quote right there before he left in a print out. They also have an on call tech 24/7. I can't imagine using anyone else after such service. Thanks for doing business right!

Phillip arrived promptly at the scheduled time, greeted me warmly, donned his booties and went right to work. He was very professional in his work and conversations with me. He took time to explain clearly the needed repairs and the alternatives. I am very pleased with the quality of service we get from the capable technicians from Poudre Valley Air.

I had an excellent experience with PVA with the installation of my new furnace and AC. They arrived on time with all their equipment and new units. After a short tour of the old equipment it was determined that the new AC unit needed to be relocated and electrical run to the the new location. They quickly arranged for technicians to do the electrical work while they continued on with their work. Both of technicians understood their roles and worked independently to efficiently install both units and to test them prior to giving us a tutorial on our new equipment. They were friendly, courteous, and respectful to us and our home, while displaying the depth of knowledge you would want from someone doing this kind of work. Additionally, they completely cleaned up after themselves, not leaving a scrap behind. They are welcome back in my home anytime.

Wyatt and Dustin did an outstanding job installing our furnace. They are incredibly hard workers and very pleasant to have around. Excellent employees! Actually, everyone we had contact with at Poudre Valley Air was like this, including Dimitri who diagnosed our old dead furnace, and Rock who provided well explained options and an estimate for the work — even the person we first talked to on the phone asking for help! We were really relieved to get a new furnace before the single-digit nights the past two days! Someone up that line deserves an “atta person” for hiring an outstanding team. You are the ones we will judge other services by in the future!
(Edit: I have had several more interactions with PVA and they have all been as good as the first two years ago.)

Original review: Amazing, professional, on time, and even covered ceiling repairs that had to be opened to install the A/C. This company kept us informed about everything and never changed the quote of the cost. There is a great credit card they offer for home improvements with zero percent interest. Drove 40 miles to install. Came out for installation within a week of calling for service. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would. Also, very cleanly and asked before they did anything that they thought would mess with the aesthetic of out home. Thank You Poudre Valley air!!!

5 months after installing air conditioning in our home. Poudre technicians found that during air conditioning install the duct work was not installed properly. Poudre charged us for install of a new motor on a 2017 furnace which was 500 dollars. Before that, they charged us for a switch and diagnosis which was 285 dollars. The owner did not stand by his technicians opinion and blamed our furnace which was luckily still under warranty. Included below is an email I sent that Poudre never responded to.

Email letter I sent to Carrie in Billing:
Hello,
I want to mention we tried disputing the bill. The furnace (2017 furnace) went out because of errors done in the duct work from install of air conditioning This was found in the evaluation by one of your technicians. Your boss called my husband back after a week of waiting plus calling your company approximately three times to speak with him. Your boss refused to stand by the technicians findings that were written down during evaluation (I can provide this to you if needed but it doesn’t seem to matter to your boss).

The reason I was not paying the bill was because I thought this was bad customer service for not standing by your technician and also telling my husband, “he (the tech) misspoke and has since been corrected”.

I will pay this bill but will not be doing business with Poudre ever again. I plan on telling everyone I meet interested in air conditioning and heat to not do business with Poudre.

I have received only two emails from Poudre asking for payment and one statement telling me I’m over due. If you have proof you’ve sent more. By all means please provide proof to support that. The voicemail Carrie left is incorrect. I have not been contacted multiple times. In fact, I was not contacted at all so I thought Poudre dropped the bill. To be insulted with, “We will send you to collections” is very wrong of your business when the furnace motor blew from duct work done incorrectly during air conditioning install. I will be going online and updating our review on your business as well so future customers can know how you treat people.

I will call Monday morning at 8am to settle this bill. I just wanted Poudre to know where the business went wrong to your technicians and customer. To top everything off Poudre made threats to send me to collections when in reality Poudre should be concerned with standing by their technicians findings and not just making money.

AMAZING service! We looked into other companies too. We are so happy we chose Poudre Valley and Air to install a new furnace and air conditioner system. The guys that installed our new system were super professional and very trustworthy. We will recommend them time and time again.

My furnace stopped working on Thursday of this week. A technician came over and it seemed like the problem was fixed but that night the furnace stopped working again. I called Poudre Valley Air and the technician, Steve, came out twice. He ended up replacing the blower motor. He was responsive and very honest. He explained everything he did. Our Trane furnace and air conditioning unit were both installed by Poudre Valley Air in 2013 and we get a maintenance contract with them because they are dependable. I can’t speak highly enough about Steve, the technician. He was terrific.

Larry was friendly, helpful, and patient. He explained everything he was doing, (tankless water heater flush). The other company, who installed it 5 years ago, never even mentioned doing any maintenance). I will use PVA from now on because of this great service experience

Their folder's cover says, "When you just want great service...", and Poudre Valley Air lives up to that slogan. We called them one day to get our furnace serviced. Well, it was old and leaking a lot of hazardous carbon monoxide. The service tech, Brody, shut off the gas then and there. Yikes! But from that moment on we never felt abandoned. Brody called the office and got us set up to choose a new furnace that night and install it the next day. Then he left us with space heaters to get us through the night. That evening Andy came through with a lot of options, which he helped us navigate easily. We put in our order. The next day, Dominik and Dustin worked the entire day getting us set up with a new furnace and air conditioner. They were extremely professional, keeping our carpets clean, carefully routing all pipes and wires, responding to all my questions and concerns. They even hauled away my old evaporative cooler. Start to finish I could not have been happier with my service experience with Poudre. Thanks everyone!

Our technician, Phillip was knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. Our a/c has not been serviced for several years and Phillip was very thorough. He changed the filter in the furnace and the humidifier and showed me how to operate the humidifier. He was also super nice to my dog that wouldn’t leave him alone. Thank you for taking great care of us!

From start to finish it was great. Rock was upfront and very knowledgeable during the quote and it came in 10k less than the other quotes we received. Larry and Dustin were wonderful with the install and mike was great when we needed a service. Zero complaints and honestly the best contractors we have worked with so far in Colorado. 100% recommend.
