One of the best garden centers in the area with a large variety of plants. I was quite impressed with their green house.

They had a great selection of indoor house plants at competitive prices. They even had some more rare plants that I have been looking for like birds of paradise and larger cacti. Did I mention reasonable prices... because most of what I wanted was half the price other stores would charge.

They also have a nice selection of pots and gardening accessories.

Ask for Kate; the others are unusually rude. However, the gift shop has some of the best items I've ever seen. They do not guarantee their plants, unlike other nurseries. I support local business yet, understand why many people in Highlands Ranch stated they will not come here due to the horrid service.

I have found the staff to be rude and condescending when I have visited, or too busy to help.
I have bought several plants from there that have had diseases manifest immediately after planting. One, a rose, I was told it was just frostbite from being on the delivery truck in early spring. It was a disease that wasted the plant within a few weeks. Don't waste your money here.

After finding The Gardens after visiting a few other nurseries in the area, this is where we will come back to shop! The staff is readily available to answer questions and give advice. There is a large selection of healthy looking plants, garden accessories and even holiday decorations! We love our new house plants and they were much more affordable than at some other nurseries.

Came here looking for some nursery pots because I didn’t have any luck at Home Depot. They told me they didn’t sell those, but went out of their way to find a few they had laying around and gave them to me for free! Their customer service is great and they have a lot of well taken care of plants and a lot of cute garden decor. Will absolutely be coming back!

I’ll never spend another dime here. After working extensively with the owner (manager?) to select perennials for a complete bed overhaul I prepped and planted everything according to their instructions. 2 of the plants didn’t make it through the winter and after asking them to provide replacements for the dead plants they refused. I prefer to support local businesses but not those that won’t stand behind their product or advice. I’m taking my business elsewhere & suggest that you do too.

I visited 4 different plant stores looking for advice about a tree. From everywhere else I got bad attitude and horrible advice, if any. But not here. An amazing lady named Joyce (very sorry if I am misspelling her name) was knowledgeable, helpful and overall great. Thank you.

Such a beautiful garden center. Love all the fountains. The selection of Colorado grown pumpkins is outstanding!

Awesome place to get beautiful plants!

Buyers beware! They don't take returns or exchanges . I bought $200 of planters, brought them home, wife said wrong color, and I brought them back. They said they won't take returns or exchanges and it is in writing in the receipt. She even said she recognized me and knows that I just bought them. They should have said something when I bought them. There are so many places to buy garden and plant supplies that will take returns or exchanges of brand new, just purchased, unused and undamaged items. It's hard to believe they are so willing to lose customers

My mom was in town visiting & after going to the Denver Botanical Gardens we were inspired to add a few plants in my yard. A friend shared this place & I was amazed by not only the friendliness of the staff, but their knowledge. I’ll definitely go back.

Always more enough to enjoy. Nursery is full with in season plants year round, home decor for a cozy home.

Seems like they have a good variety of plants. Unfortunately, I walked around for a while, but no one acknowledged me. I even stood by a plant I wanted to buy and saw an employee. I waved at her. Even though we made eye contact, she just turned and walked the other way.

The plants were also pretty expensive. I didn't see anything under $19.99.

I might give them another try. But, wasn't impressed by my first visit. I had a much better experience at Wilmore Nurseries.

Even if they sell you a defective or broken item (and you don't catch it until you get home), all sales are final, they won't even do an exchange. A warped plant tray brought back for exchange the next day was denied. It cost $50. I've worked for and been a manager for over a decade in small business retail and this is absolutely horrid and unreasonable. I thought I'd be a regular customer here, as I love their inventory. Now, I'll only shop there again if they change their policy. After all, how can I give my money to a business that doesn't value me as a customer, my hard earned money, or an honest business exchange. I can't shop somewhere where I have to be this vigilant to protect myself from being essentially scammed. Really disappointing.

In mid April wife & I called and made appt with Grant to order annuals for our HOA entrance garden. Spent 90 minutes with Grant to finalize. About $1500.
With no call back the Garden Center and Grant decided to not do the pre orders.
Now at 5/4 when we called to check in we find out we have no order..
Not Acceptable
Previous owner did not behave as selfish or unprofessional.
Lost a long time customer that spent thousands yearly combined for HOA and personal property.

Very rude owner, treats the customers like they’re a fraud because they ask for a replacement within the guaranteed time frame.
Please check your systems thoroughly before you accuse a customer of never paying for a tree that they did indeed pay for. I had fully purchased those trees ( one of the staff confirmed it with all the information on your computer) and you guys had planted it within the last 5 months, so accusing me of not paying for one of them yet before checking is very insulting.
I used to frequent this place and spent thousands here every year but I will never go back. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Poor Quality - in late July 2023, we purchased five trees. Three installed by them in August 2023 two by us in Aug. By Oct. 2023 one they installed died - no warranty or willingness to make it right. Two more died summer 2024, less than a year, and a last died this winter. Only one aspen we planted remains alive. Watered in the winter. Just disappointed.

I'm always looking (and buying) plants for our yard. I love going to the Gardens. It's close and I can find what I'm looking for. Very helpful staff and their selection is great. I'm all for supporting local business and this family run operation doesn't disappoint.

Not sure whats happened to their gift/home decor section! Looks like they are getting rid of alll the beautiful decor previous owner spent so much time bringing in to the shop. No new items and what they have is just junked together. Will they use the space just for soil and chemicals? Ugh, I miss Kate and Steve, I used to love coming here :(

Great selection of plants and trees! We snagged a cute little money tree and a bamboo today. The lady was very helpful and gave us a lot of good tips. We will definitely be back!

Excellent service and high quality selection of trees, shrubs, and plants! Mark was incredibly helpful picking out trees for our backyard and explaining proper care for optimal growth. We appreciate his assistance and teaching!
