Constraction reviews in Lafayette, Colorado

Evon and Ash were amazing managing my roofing project! Their communication was spot on, educating and keeping me informed on the status of my project. We hit a few unexpected bumps in the road on our project, but Evon and Ash were very responsive and worked hard to make any wrongs right! Industry leading customer service for sure! The finished product looks amazing too! I give the highest recommendation possible to Evon and Ash, their commitment and responsiveness to their customers are second to none, something that makes them and Summit First Construction stand above any others in the industry!

What a Godsend! After about 10 companies stopped by our home following a big hailstorm in Elbert County, we finally said "yes" to Alex in his request to give us an estimate based on his professionalism. We are so glad we did. The whole team was extremely professional, from Alex and Dane, to the roofing crew, to Fio monitoring the project and closing us out! The team worked diligently on our house roof and the two outbuildings, one of which was complicated by the "chicken run" fencing around the back. Also did a great job with the cleanup! Great American-made shingles too! Following the roof replacement we had the house painted. The weathered wood color looks great with the new paint colors. So thankful Dane suggested it!

Excellent follow through on the entire project.
We plan to use them to put Hardie Board siding and new windows in our Elizabeth home through Summit First Construction next Spring.
We highly recommend them. Courteous and knowledgeable staff.

Evan, Diego and Nora are great people to work with under Summit first construction great follow through with all our questions and concerns In replacing our new roof.

I recently had a roof and gutters installed by Summit First. From the delivery of supplies the day before to completing the roof work in one day, I found Summit First to be efficient and quite competent in the work performed.
The gutter installation was a couple days later. They were able to customize the gutters to help mitigate flooding issues that occurred with the old gutters.
I find Summit First to be a professional company worthy of patronizing.

Outstanding Experience with Summit First Construction!

Evon was exceptional to work with. He was knowledgeable, responsive, and genuinely cared about making sure everything met my expectations. His attention to detail and commitment to quality really stood out.

I Highly recommend this company!

I've been really pleased with my new roof and the ease of the process to receive it! There was a clear level of communication across the company's representatives with whom I interacted and I appreciated the expertise, efficiency and stellar customer service I experienced throughout the process. I would recommend them for roofing projects for sure.

My experience with Mike from Summit First Construction was very unprofessional. He became rude and aggressive when I refused to sign a contract right away. I told him I wasn’t comfortable signing until I had all the information from my insurance company, but he kept pressuring me and even accused me of trying to take advantage which was insulting and unnecessary.

No homeowner should be treated like that just for wanting to understand what they’re signing. I wouldn’t recommend this company based on how I was treated.

Updated Review for Summit First Construction:

After posting my initial review, the owner, Ash, personally reached out almost immediately. He spent over an hour on the phone with me, carefully walking through the contract details and making sure I fully understood everything. He was professional, down-to-earth, and genuinely apologetic about the inconvenience. It’s clear he cares about customer experience and is proactive about improving things, including addressing any “bad apples” on his team. I appreciate the effort and am updating my review to reflect that level of service.

Summit First is the best, I couldn't be happier. They helped file claims with the insurance and answered any questions. Summit First Construction was fabulous to work with! They took the time with us to answer all of our questions and concerns. The team was very conscientious and professional. I run a daycare and asked that they take extra care to pick up trash, nails, etc. once the job was done. They did an excellent job with clean up. They also were able to accommodate my work scheduled and scheduled the day job to be done on a weekend, which was amazing and unexpected! I am very happy with how the job was done from start to finish.

Ash, Evon, Dane, Fio, and Diego were all incredible to work with. What really impressed me was how they genuinely had my best interests at heart.
