They have some beautiful plants and some more unique varieties than you typically will see at home improvement stores / Walmart. I would give their plants at higher score if it wasn't for their service. I shopped there a lot last year I spent a lot of money there, and now this year it's the same thing. staff is not friendly they are short even from the first person you see to when you check out. it's disappointing .

Of course they are much more expensive than say Walmart or Home Depot which you can find beautiful plants there it just varies but some of their plants really are about double the price and you know as a small business that makes sense they're not ordering the amount and have the relationships that those Mass retailers do that's understandable but if I'm paying double the price for something I expect at least a basic level of friendliness.

Lauren was very helpful and patient with all my pond question. For two years I’ve been trying to fight algae and finally we figured it out. It’s so nice to be able to talk to someone knowledgeable!
The place also has everything for the garden, many beautiful pots and some rare plants! Jewel in the neighborhood!

Just got a bulk delivery of Garden Mix and it looks fantastic! It’s a combo of roughly 65% sandy loam top soil and 35% compost. When I called they were extremely helpful and friendly. The Garden Mix compost component is made with dairy cow compost, although they said later in the year it is usually the black tea compost. I’m really happy with the texture of this mix, it seems to be screened from large chunks. I had previously ordered a raised bed mix from a landscape company and was very disappointed with the amount of large mulch and some stones that were in it. Very happy to have found quality at Jared’s!

We love coming for Christmas trees and Santa! The tree guys are fantastic with kids and super helpful.

Unfortunately, we'd like to make the managers aware that the cashier with purple hair wasn't the most welcoming. We waited at the counter to be checked out, and the cashier looked at us, looked at her phone, and completely ignored us while we held out our tree tag. I felt bad for her coworker who had to run across the store to help us instead. We called the store, but no managers were present at the time. Hopefully she was just having a bad day and this isn't a recurring problem.

Another season, more trash. Updated winter photos attached. Buckets and planters and plastic. No recent windstorms to blame. These have been here for months and are consistent with other photos from other seasons.

Great garden center and products, but they let all the trash from their property and the company they lease land to blow in to the open space behind them. They never clean it up. It’s a constant problem, regardless of the season (see photos from multiple periods throughout the year). We’ve talked to them about it a few times, but they never seem to take it that seriously.

Get your Christmas tree here! Robert was awesome and really helped us pick out a tree and load it for us! Friendly with the kids! Pricing was really good compared to other places. Freshly cut the bottoms for you too. Extremely nice service 👏 👌

Very happy. No hassel when he said he was coming out to my house to give me a estimate he showed up, not like the other poeple "never" did. I was a happy camper. Always a great experience when these guys come out. Have used them for sprinkler winterization, activation and aeration. They keep the lawn looking great!

I use this company to blow out my sprinkler system. The price was extremely reasonable as I was quoted other ones they were much higher. They are professional and they did an excellent job and made sure my sprinkler system was working and even put booties on when they came inside my house. I highly recommend them they did such a thorough job.

The company responded quickly to my request for core aeration, got me on their schedule soon, did nice work pulling clean plugs, and kept my place in good shape through the process, including my fence gate which can be tricky to get an aerator through. I intend to keep returning to J Haught for my future needs.

Best lawn care company I have ever worked with! They do an amazing job and are so kind. They give great advice and were always there to answer any questions I had about my lawn. Will recommend them to every one that I know!

I was fortunate enough to find this company online the first year I moved to this house. Joe is all of the things listed above – responsible, professional, polite, responds quickly, and gives good lawn advice. If he doesn’t know the answer, he will likely be able to refer you to someone who does. I will continue to hire him and his coworker as long as I have grass that needs to be mown.

So grateful J Haught was taking new clients! Last year we couldn't even get anyone to come out and cut our yard, so this was fantastic. They do a great job, are very communicative about everything, and bill timely. Will def keep using them.
