My little sister was hired for the Summer. At the end of June they told her they were slower than expected and needed to let her go to save money. Very disappointed as my sister and my family buy plants from there often. We used to tell everyone we knew about how great Jared’s was but now we will be asking our friends and family in the Littleton area to shop elsewhere. My sister came home every day saying she loved working at Jared’s and was crushed when they let her go. As a side note, my sister’s bosss acknowledged that it was her birthday before continuing on to the conversation about letting her go. That conversation could have easily been done the following day. Tasteless.

Cute pumpkin patch, definitely bring the little ones here! It’s a great plant nursery as well; there are plenty of healthy house plants that are reasonably priced. Will be back!!

Having recently moved to the Littleton area, we were excited to find a nursery since we’re avid gardeners. Jared’s was disappointing. The plants looked tired, and were pricey. Pots were very pricey, as well, We also didn’t like the flow. You have to park in the back, and pay way at the front. My mom was interested in the fountains and outdoor statuary, etc. The section looked like everything had been sitting there for many seasons and needed revamping. They had a lot of gift shop selections, but that’s not why we visited. We ended up buying plants at the nearby Walmart (which are thriving), and then visited Wright’s Nursery in Arvada to buy plants Walmart does not stock. It was worth the drive.

Free Santa, and he's awesome! Very realistic, sweet, and well-dressed. Free cookies, apple cider, hot chocolate, snacks. Aside from that, super cute holiday decorations, lawn decorations, plants, and tons of beautiful Christmas trees. This place also has a great haunted house around Halloween.

Very nice and helpful staff. I really appreciated being able to buy supplies and plants so I could continue to garden at home during the pandemic.
Update: 10/23. I still love this place ❤️

Purchase trees a year ago, they were Evergreens and a little beat up but they told me it was because of a recent wind storm and that within a few months the trees would be full in Lush. 12 months to the date the trees are still looking really really bad, on a side note, when I purchase them they delivered one of the trees which were Incorrect and it took 7 phone calls and a trip back to the store after 3 weeks to get the correct tree delivered to me. Would not recommend.

I was so excited to find my favorite candle on their website. Ordered it online a month ago. Evidently they didn't actually have the item but nobody seemed to care to reach out to me and tell me that, while they were going to keep my money, I was not going to get the product. I reached out to the company and was told I'd be followed up with the next day. It has now been a week since that promise. No product, no refund. Disappointed to say the least.

Went to Jared's for a Euonymus Manhattan bush. Was given a golf cart ride to the shaded area on the west side and helped by the horticulturist to determine the best one. Looking forward to bringing my kids back to the place so they can have a fun time with all the extras in the store.

Overpriced but usually great variety. There is a crass woman who is usually by the cashiers area who always seems bothered by questions. Half the time everyone is friendly and the other half not so much.

Also, NONE of the bulbs I planted this spring came up. ZERO. Also, the lavender I bought from there died and I followed the instructions. I'd give more stars if that wasn't the case.

No concern for my (our) safety. 3 weeks ago I charged a purchase and was handed a well used pen to sign with. An older woman supervising (an owner?) smirked when I didn't want to use their only pen.
    No masks on employees either.
Now a friend said they still have no masks or any other simple separation practices.
18 years of shopping there is over for me. There are many other places that make a reasonable effort to show concern for their customer's safety. Goodbye.

I love how well the staff knows their stuff. They are very knowledgeable about all the plants they sell. They usually recognize everyone that comes to them. Their smiles are very important to all the customers that come and see what they have. I would recommend them any time.

Good selection of plants, flowers, trees, yard decor, planters, and everything you need to keep your garden growing. We found the perfect plant for one of our planters, but nothing for our other 2, but that's because the Mrs was looking for something very specific. Great place to shop for flowers

Great help when I've asked questions about specific types of plants and how to care for them.
Great gift selections for your home and garden.

Super cute place with a vast selection of indoor house plants, succulents, and cacti. Prices were very reasonable and the cashier was super sweet and packaged my plants with such care. Will definitely be back in the summer time for flowers.

Sunday April 2nd, around noon the guy helping load cars with soil was awesome! Not only did he go totally above and beyond, but when offered a tip he turned it down! When was the last time THAT happened! Couldn't resist leaving him a great review!

Wanted to spend my money here. I'm in need of 100 pumpkins for an elementary school pumpkin run. Asked, if I purchased 100 pumpkins, would it be possible to get a discount off of the total. She said, mmmm, I guess I could do 10% off, but that's the most I could do. I said ok. Started loading small pumpkins onto the cart. Lady and gentleman came over and said those are pushing medium size. Look for smaller pumpkins. Come on I'm loading the smallest out of the 1000 of pumpkins lying around. These people did nothing for our student's and myself. They made me feel uncomfortable. I then unloaded all the pumpkins and left to a different farm tp get pumpkin for our elementary school age children. Sad, money hungry company who can't support neighborhood schools. Didn't want them free. Just wanted some pumpkins at a decent price for our school age children. I guess I can't support this small business.

Very welcoming, relaxed atmosphere. Hometown feel. Folks always willing to lend a hand, but not too pushy. Horticulture experts on staff. Stock always very well taken care of from beginning of season until the end. Many more deer resistant choices since located in the foothills. Also, things for kiddos to do if they become bored perusing the huge selection.

Huge shout out to Loren & the staff at Jared's! From the second we walked in the door, everyone was friendly and eager to help! It's rare to find such kind and knowledgeable workers these days. The attention Loren showed us along with everything he knew, I would actually guess he is the owner (but I don't actually know that!). He went above and beyond to help us get the right stuff for a pond we are building. He was friendly and patient as we had lots of questions! This place is amazing and we will absolutely be back for all of our pond needs and more!

I love this nursery- I have lived across the street for over 25 years- anytime I go In and need an expert they point me In The right direction- it is a family run business and they have very helpful and knowledgeable staff. I stopped in a few weeks ago and asked about a specific variety of cherry tree and Aaron was awesome he followed up with all of their vendors and got back to me- they do t have the tree I’m looking for but the fact they still called me back to follow up was great. I try to but most of my stuff here because they do purchase quality plants. It is a bit pricier than your home improvement stores- but the quality is bar none.

I run an after school program and we went here with our kiddos (20 of them) on a field trip and had a great experience! The staff was unbelievably accommodating and extremely patient. They even gave us vampire teeth and suckers. Our kids loved the free haunted house, maze and pumpkin patch. They all bought pumpkins and had a fun filled time. I would highly recommend this place and their amazing staff! 5 Stars!!!
