In a world of mechanical services company, where some are good some not so good. I found a good one. Atlas Mechanical…the owner, Jared requested photos of my over 25 year old, on its last legs Rheem furnace along with its ductwork in the crawlspace of my 1250 sq ft house some 70 miles away. He gave me an accurate cost estimate and timeline to get the job done. The replacement furnace was also a Rheem brand.
He drove over an hour to get to my place. He took out the old one, put in the new one and in just a few hours everything was done. Atlas Mechanical out of the Denver area came to my house in the mountains with a great attitude and did a great job and Jared, the owner even parted some of his knowledge to me on the furnace and what to expect (there might be a little smell that happens when you first turn it on, but it will go away). Encouraged me to replace my cold air return filter right away noticing it had gotten dirty enough to do so, Plus, he stuck around to make sure everything was running correctly before he left. When he left, he took all the old parts with him, so I didn’t have to deal with throwing all that stuff away. Oh, and he also encouraged me to get the warranty information filed right away. It’s been five days now since the install was complete and I couldn’t be happier. The furnace is running like a champ.

Had Jared from Atlas out today, he did a fantastic job looking over my air conditioning unit. He walked me through everything he was doing and really showed his knowledge on the unit. Excellent service. Atlas was very thorough and knowledgeable. He tested the in rush current and constant current on the motor. Cleaned the igniter of corrosion, checked the propane emissions to insure it was below the ppm threshold. He balanced the propane inflow. I'll refer Atlas to others.
