Bare Root Landscaping did a fantastic job. We had no idea of what we wanted to do with our yard. Kevin came up with a zero scape plan for our yard that we really liked. Kevin @ Bare Root Landscape has done an AMAZING job bringing our back yard to life! He has the creativity, vision, and know-how to work within a budget to yield high-quality results. In addition, he’s one of the most punctual, reliable, and hard working contractors I’ve ever had the pleasure to know.

When my wife and I purchased our home, we knew we wanted something highly functional and “unique to us” for our future yard. We talked with several larger custom companies over the last year, but Kevin stood out from the first meeting. He was able to take our (somewhat vague) ideas for hardscape, outdoor living, etc. and turn them into a cohesive landscaping plan that we can build out in stages.

I’m a fan of supporting local, small businesses whenever possible, and we couldn’t be more pleased with our choice of BRL for our landscaping needs. I highly (highly!) recommend Kevin’s services to anyone in the Tri-Lakes region.

He was competitive on price, easy to work with, really knew his stuff (that's what you get when you hire someone who comes from a farming background), and provided great follow-up. I needed a way to landscape my yard, use less water and dog proof it. Kevin came out and went over several attractive options both financially and aesthetically. Kevin and his crew showed up on time every day and made quick work of my large yard. My one big ask was for a very large centerpiece boulder. I had one small problem with my dog digging up my walkway and again Kevin came out promptly and fix the problem and offered some long-term solutions. We had a great experience with Kevin at Bare Root Landscape. He designed a natural stone wall & steps down to a round paver patio with LED pathway lighting. He also leveled out some areas of our property that were sloping. A year later, everything is holding up perfectly!

This company is one of responsibility, integrity, and honesty. Though I had a small project, Kevin was on time with the correct materials and was respectful of my property. If I have other projects in the future, he will be the first one I call. Hard to find a company as fine a this.
