Would give 6 stars if I could. Jay was extremely knowledgeable in his field of work and took extra time to go over almost every subsystem of our AC unit to figure out the issue. Didn't try to sell us into a whole new unit - purely trying to figure out the lowest cost resolution to enhance our cooling ability. Tell all your friends and neighbors, this company is the way to go!

Jay and his team did a great job installing our new furnace. Showed up on time and made all the necessary changes required to make the new furnace run efficiently. We are already enjoying the quieter furnace and one that doesn’t run non stop!

Jay Smiley, the owner of Smiley, Air and Heat, did an excellent job with the installation of my new heat pump and alteration of some ductwork. He explained everything to me in advance, answered all my questions, and went the extra mile in making sure everything was working perfectly at the end of the installation. I had to replace my very old heater due to a carbon monoxide leak, and while I was a little uncomfortable at first about having two of his guys come to do the installation, Jay went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable. I recently had a new water heater installed at my condo and had a wonderful experience with Smiley Air & Heat. Being a condo, there was an added element of working with the HOA to get the main water turned off, and Jay was so patient and communicative the whole time. I felt like all my questions were addressed and Jay made sure I was comfortable throughout the process, he was so professional and did an amazing job with the installation. Jay with Smiley Air and Heat installed a Mitsubishi mini split 12,000 BTU wall unit in my upstairs living room. Jay was extremely easy and fun to work with during the proposal phase and the installation went perfect. It took a total of six hours from start to finish and he did not leave until I said I was 100% satisfied with everything. I will definitely be using Smiley Air and Heat in the future for any new HVAC equipment and needed service.

I had suspected a strange low level poisoning that was going on with my mom's house and put in devices to read CO2 in the house because monoxide detectors weren't going into alarm. No one else could understand the difference between monoxide and dioxide but Aaron came out and found a problem that no one could see with venting and corrected it. Mom feels better now and I was impressed with prompt response, courtesy, and price.

The place was quick to deliver a free estimate, but overall experience was not impressive in the slightest. I'm not sure if it's because i'm a young homeowner or what, but they 100% tried to take advantage of the fact that I don't know much about HVAC and didn't care to explain hardly anything to me during the visit-- furnace/AC options, pros/cons of makes or models, repair options and didn't know their cleaning prices. I was prying this information out of them myself and eventually gave up on trying to ask questions. I think that because of my age, I was automatically disqualified as a "valuable lead".

I told them a big company (SWAN) quoted me at $9800 which seemed crazy for a small condo/townhome and they came back with close to a $9600 quote on a furnace and AC model that I still know nothing about. I ended up finding someone else local who pulled out my flame sensor, wiped it with steel wool and fixed it all in 20 minutes. Then he quoted me 30% less on total replacement for when I need it. For a local company, I was really disappointed with the experience.

Super professional, helpful, and fast. Answered all our question and did a great job installing our AC. Very reasonably priced. Art, Omar, and Ron were all a pleasure to work with.
