Cool Ducts is professional honest and overall a great company. Technicians are friendly and very knowledgeable they don’t leave any job without fixing the issue and they explain what is going on , they are fair with pricing and don’t try and get rich of a job. Give them a call I know that you won’t be disappointed.

Zero professionalism- Maria and Nick have chosen not to service our property for some reason. Two weeks after diagnosis and one week after receiving the part they won’t service us. Probably because I called them out on being a shady company.

Save your time and money people. They absolutely hate doing warranty work.

Avoid at all costs. Highly unprofessional. I get our warranty company wants to go with the cheapest option but request a different one if they are assigned to you. Diagnosed our furnace, ordered a part (who knows if it’s even the right one at this point), part arrives and they just show up at our house to install with no appointment. Then they cancelled our job because we weren’t available. Now we have to get our furnace diagnosed again and wait for the part to arrive. We have young kids and geriatric dogs with seizure disorders that need a cool house. The worst part was dealing with their secretary Maria (she said she is also the manager). Voicemails are completely unintelligible. Tons of loud background noise that sounds like kids or TV that she swears isn’t there but suddenly goes away after you call it out. This morning she sounded like she was still in bed when I called and said she would call back. Now they won’t answer calls. We are filing a complaint with the BBB and the warranty company.

If your looking for fast reliable quality work, Cool Ducts is the way to go! These guys go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction! The work is done to code and they ensure your safety as well as your family’s. The price i was given for my Furnace and AC was very reasonable and i didn’t feel like i was getting robbed unlike other estimates i had received. All in all an excellent deal!

Replaced our old AC condenser that would occasionally freeze due to lack of old refrigerant. Works better than the old one for sure, and they seemed really knowledgeable, but it constantly trips a fuse. They downgraded our fuse from a 30amp to a 20amp, which to my knowledge there's no acceptable reason to do without at least modifying the circuit. Keeping it on feels like when one has to constantly refill the kerosene in a space heater. They're coming out a second time to come fix it the following week, so best of the situation I guess.

Edit (9/13/2024): they've visited twice since and the thing still breaks.

Maria is a great scheduler and a super star on getting me on the schedule. She even called me to see if the tech can come out ealirer than expected!! Of course, I said yes!
Whatever you do stay on the schedule and have your phone available cause it does happen where someone can come out earlier!!

I gave them a call for a leaking drain out of the evap coil. He came out not only did he clean out the drain so it wouldn't leak on the furnace, he also checked in the furnace and the ac unit to make sure everything is up and running smoothly before he left. I will be calling them back every time now for ant furnace or AC issues! Very knowledgeable team!!

To start, I’d like to point out that I have never felt this mistreated by any contractor, and we (my husband and I) have owned, rented, purchased/sold over 15 homes in the last 10 years – with a ton of experience with trades and contractors. We had a few pleasant experiences with Paul and his team, so we used his company again on a large project – nearly a $20,000 job. We have had nothing but issues with our system since it was installed. The A/C was installed, and Paul was onsite during install, in late April and when we turned the unit on in June it just didn’t seem to work right. After asking Paul to visit the unit REPEATEDLY he continued to put us off saying we were probably just “running it too hard”. As he ignored our requests we tried many different things to keep temperatures at a stable level, Paul also suggested changing the thermostat, which we also did. His (unsuccessful) suggestions led on for about 7 weeks. After our house had been hot (78 degrees +) for a few weeks he finally sent a team out to troubleshoot the unit in-person. Come to find out, they never charged the A/C unit when they installed it!!! It had been trying to run on ¼ of the needed Freon the entire time and likely added several years to the unit’s life as a result of it being overworked so badly. His team charged the unit and it worked fine the rest of the summer. Now to this year, the fan motor isn’t working. In an attempt not to bug Paul, who we figured would ignore us (and he is) we troubleshot the problem ourselves, buying and installing a capacitor. Unfortunately, this didn’t solve the issue, so we scheduled a service call with American Heat Cool. They were to come out the next day, to no surprise, they cancelled within the last 20 minutes of the appointment window due to an “emergency”. We rescheduled for the next business day and guess what…they no called and no showed. The weather wasn’t great this day, which I know will be his excuse if he ever responds to our voicemails, calls, texts or emails, but it is completely unacceptable for a business owner to no show, no call – especially since this was the second time in less than 4 days. Since our initial no-charge issue our scheduled appointments have been canceled or no-shows at least 5 times. Meanwhile two other HVAC techs/owners told me that with the issues we have had, and the charge not being done correctly putting countless years on our brand-new units – aging them much faster than typical, that we should get a complete reinstall on both the furnace and A/C. The other HVAC companies suggested I have the furnace (which now has rust on it and the floor beneath it from the A/C working too hard without Freon) and the A/C unit replaced completely…. UNDER WARRANTY! With how we have been treated by Paul specifically I will never recommend him again. It is unfortunate for us that our units were installed by him and under warranty though his company – especially because he refuses to do the right thing; we have now paid $500 for a different company to replace the fan motor. Save yourself the heartache, countless wasted hours and frustrations and use a different company for all your HVAC needs. I wouldn’t trust anything that Paul says after this experience!

Nothing but problems with our system since the day they installed. It was never installed correctly, the furnace or the AC; freon was never added to the AC, so it burned the motor out immediately. Another company has had to re-vent the exhaust and intake pipes because it wasn't to code and caused our furnace to over-work. Both AC and furnace have been rebuilt at least once because of their lack of knowledge. It is an absolute mess, don't ever hire this company for anything!!!

I’ve been using America Heat Cool since 2010 for service, PMs, and even replacing both an AC unit as well as a furnace. Paul has always been timely, professional, knowledgeable and reasonably priced. I highly recommend them for all of your HVAC needs.

The team here is top notch and the work was done exactly as was described during the initial consultation. They were clean, fast and friendly. They tested the new furnace and thermostat before leaving showing me how to use all the new equipment. We are looking forward to working with them again during upcoming remodels!

Fred was amazing. And amazing doesn’t do it justice. Everything you want out of an HVAC tech. After getting multiple quotes for AC in our 1900 home, I didn’t feel confident with anyone other than Fred. You can feel assured that they are genuine and honest in their pricing and work. We had a slight hiccup with our bathroom electricity after install and within 5 min of an email, they responded and fixed the problem right away. Love the 30 min call ahead, guy was very friendly and helpful. Lots of patience answered all my questions and jumped up on roof and got his job done. Really appreciate people like that, very helpful and honest, cooler stopped working after service Fred returned and fixed problems. I would recommend company to everyone.
