We've used Best Yard for 8 years and have NEVER had a bad experience. They always show up on time, have reasonable rates, and their staff is very personable and knowledgeable. We really appreciate their annual discount which makes using their services even easier. We've also used their "as needed" snow removal service on occasion - they were out the same day we called, very responsive.

BestYard has mowed my yard for 5 years. Never had any issues. Pretty automatic anymore, I don't even think about it. They are friendly folks who provide good communication regarding schedule adjustments and also provide tips for maintaining my yard. I would recommend.

This is the first year I have used Best Yards services. I was very impressed with their customer service and quick responses to questions I may have. I used them to aerate my lawn twice a year. They did a great job! I highly recommend them.

Best Yard does what they say they are going to do and when they say. Its refreshing to have a lawn care service that does what they say they will do! We have them spray for weeds quarterly and our weeds have disappeared! We like that they use non toxic spray. We have lots of animals running around and it is safe for them an hour after the application. They listen when I have questions or concerns and respond quickly.

Good service for those that don't want to do their own fertilization schedule. Works very smooth. You get a call the day before the service letting you know to expect them. They show up as expected and leave the bill on the door to be paid online. Nice to know that my yard is getting the nutrients it needs. Had been struggling with the grass growth in my backyard until signing up with BestYard but it really has taken well to their care. My front yard has still been struggling a little and I'm not quite sure why. Overall a good set it and forget it service for those that want a nice lawn without the effort.

Not worth the price they charge for weekly mowing Poor communication from company about scheduling upcoming services or rescheduling services. You were at the companies own wheel and it will get done when they have the time.

The actual service they provide is 5 stars. We have used them for a yard cleanup, weeding, irrigation shut off, & lawn care. The team is very nice & gets the job done well.
Where I've lost my patience is the admin side of the company. Their website gives 3 options to contact them: a phone number, email, or a contact form through the website. Their website states they will contact you within 24 hrs. but having used all the above methods multiple times this has never been the case for me.
I'll use this one example to illustrate how requesting a service has gone for me in many other instances. I approved an estimate for a Fall Yard Cleanup on July 29th 2022 & was told to contact the company to schedule it once my yard was ready (pine needles & leaves fallen etc.). I started with sending them an email on Oct 29th which got no response. From there I placed 4 different calls to the phone number on their website. 1 or 2 of those times I had to leave a voicemail & the remaining instances I was told I would receive a call back confirming I had been scheduled. 3 business days after my 4th call as of Thanksgiving week, I have yet to hear anything from the office. Maybe these reviews will motivate them.
I have a full time job & do not have time to babysit a company to do what they've committed to. This company had been set to get a lot of future business out of me when I first found them but their lack of response will be sending my money to a competitor. I would've used them yearly for my yard cleanups & weeding, as well as updating our lighting system. We had also wanted to use them for our home Xmas lights but went with another company because they never responded to my contact attempts. The only things I'm willing to stick with them for is my irrigation shut on/off & the lawn care since that seems pretty streamlined & requires little contact. Everything else I'll be going to another company in 2023 since this one has no interest in setting up services with me.

12/7/22 Updating my star rating from 1 to 2 stars due to the fact that Best Yard did come to do the Fall Yard Cleanup as promised today. As with all the actual services I've received, the result is perfect & my yard looks fantastic (hence the increase in star rating). However, it doesn't take away from the hassle I've experienced trying to coordinate on the office side of things (see previous review). For what it's worth, the owner said that this has been their worst year with being short staffed, illness, etc. However, my issue has always been lack of communication in booking with the office not any aspect beyond that piece of the business & I don't know how much this explanation covers those negatives.

Quick response, friendly, informative staff, reasonably priced, and many services are available with BestYard. Whether you want a few weeks or want to stay on for a few years, BestYArd is accommodating-I’ve done both. They have serviced my yard in the past and I started services again. I’m kind of picky about trim and edging—I found one tiny area upon start up not trimmed, wrote in, and BestYard fixed the issue and it never happened again. Excellent customer service. I’d strongly recommended BestYard services!

With the BestLawn service. I really don't have to worry about lawn maintenance. BestLawn has treated excessive watering and necrotic ring issues and has always automatically delivered fertilizing, weed treatment and aeration services. They deserve a five-out-of-five star rating.

I have used Best Yard for maintaining my sprinkler system for the past several years and they have always been great! They contact me each season to set up my sprinkler and for blow out so I never have to remember. Also I love their monthly emails about how to keep my yard looking great.

They were always prompt and did an awesome job! Polite crews, conscientious and pleasant to work with! I highly recommend BestYard!!

Earl and I have been customers of Best Yard for many years and are usually very pleased with the way the yard looks. If there is a problem, such as walkways, etc. not being blown off, as per our agreement it is easily resolved. Melissa and Tara are always most helpful in scheduling services and in answering any question we might have. The crew is always great - helpful and knowledgeable, which is most appreciated. Wishing Chris and company many more years of success!

While I enjoy taking care of my yard, there are some things that I just do not have the equipment for and Best Yard has stepped in and provided those services. I have used them for aeration and sprinkler blowouts and both services were done quickly and at a high level. Their technicians are always professional and listen to my input. I plan to continue using their services and would recommend them to anyone with lawn and landscaping needs!

I used Rocky Mountain last year and was pleased initially ... but when they merged with Best Yard/Weed Man this year, the service has been awful. Yard wasn't mowed on a regular basis, and after repeated calls, I was never given a definite date of when they could mow the grass. (My grass has never looked this bad.) However, they managed to deduct payments from my account promptly. Would not recommend. Others in my subdivision have had similar experiences. It is hard to find good, dependable help these days. Sad. The receptionist though is very nice. They need to clone her but she can't fix poor operations. They use the excuse of "weather" and "holidays" but they are just understaffed and in my opinion have taken on too much, too soon. My next door neighbor has a lawn service and they have managed to cut his grass every week and on time. I will be calling them.

This is my first season using Best Yard. I've generally been very happy with the service. The quality of the mowing and trimming has been very good. I've used other companies, and their service was far inferior to Best Yard. Best Yard is easily the best lawn service I've used to date.

If I had to gripe about something, it's that when they are bring their mowers back through the front yard after leaving my back yard, they always kick river rocks into the grass and never throw them back with the other rocks. Also, I'd say I've only gotten my yard serviced on the scheduled day about 50% of the time. Early in the season when it was raining alot, I completely understand. But the past 2 weeks we've had very little rain, and they were still behind schedule. In fact, I'm scheduled on Thursdays, but didn't get a mow until Tuesday this last week. These are minor issues however, and the quality of their work overcomes these small issues for me.

And for what it's worth, it would be a GREAT idea to abandon the name "Weed Man". My credit card statement shows the name Weed Man, and I have to do some redacting before I submit my credit card statements for expense reimbursement at work. Here in Colorado, Weed Man can mean something completely different, and I would prefer not to have to explain to my work or my wife why there is a charge on my credit card statement to a weed man!

I am very happy with the services that Best Yard has provided for me. They do what they say they are going to and when something changes I receive an email keeping me informed. When I had an issue, I simply emailed Chris, he responded and the next visit the issue was taken care of. My yard looks great!

This company does not facilitate pre-scheduled lawn aeration services. You're at their whim for whenever it fits into THEIR schedule to perform the service. They claim that they will contact you the day prior via text. So, if you want to be present when they're in your yard / around your home... clear your schedule 1-2 months in advance and wait around for them to contact you. I scheduled service a month ago and have been told it could be any time in the next 4 weeks... potentially 8 weeks from when I scheduled the aeration.

I'm going with a company that has more personalized service.

I have been using BestYard for a few months now. They are very professional, great on communicating schedule changes and do beautiful work. I'd definitely refer them to my friends!

Update: these guys are just wonderful! They do weekly lawn mowing and gardening. I've used them for years, with excellent service every time. The owner (Chris) is a great man!

I have used Best Yard for several years to start up my sprinkler system in the spring and blow it out in the fall. They have also helped me with repairs to the sprinkler system a few times and are always very professional, timely and easy to deal with. I highly recommend their services!

I have been using BestYard for several years. Every Fall they blow out the water from my sprinkler system and turn on my water in the Spring. They are always friendly. They show up on time and do a great job of making sure that all of my sprinklers are working properly. One of my zones is not working properly and they will be coming back soon to fix the problem. This is a service that is well worth the money.
