Just be careful when working with DR Horton Express homes. They will lie to you then apologize and then lie and apologize. Their website and Google claim they fence your yards.... they do not!! Your promised things you’ll never get. Be prepared to pay for a fence. You express your concerns and then you told that’s not right and yet you have to fight with them to get ANYTHING done. Our house was filthy moving in after we were told they were having it cleaned professionally. Then don’t hear from them unless you call them with the issues. It’s one thing after another and another. Just be careful with this company.

We purchased our home almost three years ago. We waited to have our grass in the back put in and followed all the instructions they gave us. Fast forward to now. I have been wondering why my back yard grass has been dying and literally rolling up in sections. It was put down with little to soil and tons of sand. It will cost me hundreds of dollars which I can’t afford to make my yard look at least ok. Love my home but this was sheer laziness and negligence. I’m literally shoveling sand from where the yard rolled up and died.

I had the please of meeting with Rianna Munson at this community. She is very knowledgeable and informative and knows severance extremely well. If you are looking for a new construction build I would absolutely go check out these homes!

The Tailholt community is absolutley beautiful. Amenities are close and you can't beat the views of the mountains. All the finishes inside the homes are wonderful. My wife and I had just started our house hunt and it was over after we looked at their houses. Laurel was AMAzing answering all of our questions and making it a smooth process. We loved her just as much as we love our new home. We can't wait for closing!

Honestly..this has been my first experience buying a home so I have to say that it felt like forever to get completely approved! That being said, they take great care of you! And offer wonderful things in your package that I would never have dreamed would be in my own home! They are great and would recommend D R Horton to anyone

We had an amazing time working with Laurel, the DR Horton New Home Specialist. She was very knowledgeable and was able to find floor plans that would meet our needs as a growing family. Would highly recommend working with her and DR Horton.

We just purchased our first home from Laurel at Hidden Lake. The whole experience was so easy, pleasant and fun! We love that nearly every house backs to a green belt. The preferred lender was super easy to work with as well.
Update: Now that we've lived here for about 2 weeks, I wanted to mention a few other awesome things. When we had our walk throughs, Ben was so particular about finding any imperfections (which were few) and getting them fixed asap. He personally followed through with any issues and made sure we were always informed and happy. Every painter, trim carpenter, and sub contractor that came through was so friendly and worked hard to make our home just perfect.
We love it here! Many thanks to all involved!

We had a warranty claim fulfilled by DR Horton and Rob Garifi helped us through the process. He was awesome and did an excellent job with the coordination and execution. We had one claim for our shower leak that was taken care of very quickly. A few weeks later we had some plumbing that needed repair, and he was on top of the whole process. Horton made it so easy for my buyers to buy their dream home at great terms, and they had a wonderful experience. We had the pleasure of working with Rianna Munson as the New Home Specialist. She was super responsive, professional, friendly, and overall a pleasure to work with! The Superintendent, Dan was awesome as well. I really appreciated his thoroughness as did my buyers. I was also impressed with the condition of the house. I'm not a construction expert or inspector by any means. But there were minimal touch-ups needed and few inspection items compared to most new builds I've seen. I hope to have the opportunity to work with them again and would definitely recommend D.R. Horton and this community specifically.
