This garden center is absolutely adorable! The staff is also amazing and full of knowledge and information. You can tell they enjoy their jobs and love working there. It was great spending some time and learning about how to properly care for the plants I purchased. The staff makes great recommendations. They also have an amazing selection considering that it was March in Colorado. I was looking for something that would be fun and special for my grandmother's 80th birthday and I think I found just the right plant that would bring some color and beauty to her plant collection.

Great place!! They have an amazing selection of flowers and Amber was extremely kind and helpful. I was born without a green thumb and know nothing about flowers but Amber didn't seem to mind answering my questions and giving me a little guidance. The prices for the flowers were reasonable and they obviously tended to the plants and flowers as all were thriving. We will definitely be frequenting this nursery again.

Love Hilltop Nursery! The workers are super helpful and knowledgeable. They have excellent customer service and offer a large variety of HEALTHY plants and surprisingly great prices. Would recommend to anyone looking to upgrade their outdoor space.

i used to love coming here but the new employees are very rude and they seem to be know it alls. which was a very annoying experience. i went to get a plant repotted that i’ve had from a single leaf for years and is now big and beautiful. without any warrant they both begin to barred me about how i’m poorly caring for my plant and start throwing their opinions at me. very very poor customer service and probably will not come back

I went into Hilltop yesterday looking for
2 amaryllis plants (one for me and one to share with my friend for Valentine's Day). They still had a beautiful selection of the "Christmas Flowers". I chose 2 red/pink striped flowers that were not yet blooming. Amber helped me find 2 beautiful pots to put them in. I mentioned I would need some additional dirt and she offered to plant them in the pots for me. She also added some additional pebbles to make the plants pop. When I checked out she gave me an incredible discount on the flowers. The owners and their staff are always so friendly and helpful. It's a pleasure to shop there!! Thanks Hilltop

Plants: outdoor plants are on the cusp of dying. Yes, all of them. Crispy leaves or wilting are super common.

If you buy plants here, buy the indoor plants.

If you buy anything outside the building, you're going to have to resuscitate it.

Such a cute place. The staff is so friendly and helpful. Plants were very healthy. Most of the usual plants were there but a few more rare plants were there too. Some really cute pots too.

What a terrible experience. I just moved to the area and always love to garden. I always pick out a local greenhouse. It is always more expensive but I prefer to shop local. I purchased two large baskets $70 a piece. And about $400 on other vegetables and flowers. These were the only ones potted by them. Both baskets promptly died a week later. I tried calling with no one calling me back. I even put a review on FB hoping to get a response. Not a peep. Yesterday I had the chance to drive them back over. The man there promptly told me I must not of watered them or that they froze. Nope on both I told him. When you spend $600 on plants you water them and certainly know when to pull them in. The truth was their potters were trash and the only reason the other plants lived was because of what I did to the soil. He refused to do anything to help. I left the baskets there and will never purchase from them again. They are not fair with their business practices and rude to boot.

Just went to this nursery to get my daughter some plants for her birthday. I cannot rave about how nice everyone was. And the manager or owner not sure which, made her day extra special. Beautiful space with amazing plants! And dog friendly too.

What a wonderful local business! A friend and I went in searching for a new house plant. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The selection of pottery was very unique. I was able to choose a small Tradescantia Nanouk in a cute little green pot. Highly recommend!

Really disappointed in the quality of our chiminea.

We have always loved Hilltop since we moved to the area 4 years ago but recently we purchased this large chiminea. I called them to let them know that within 2-3 months after purchasing it has formed multiple cracks and finally it completely split into several pieces. The owner did offer 50% off of another one but as you can imagine, it was pricey to begin with and I definitely wouldn’t purchase another one.

Maybe stick to their garden supplies, we are really bummed about the price/poor quality and zero return policy.

I went in there Sunday morning looking to start a butterfly garden and was helped by the owner with a correct start to the garden. She took the time to show me which flowers would work and would bloom and which I am better off leaving alone. She also showed me several container displays/ideas. I went to another local nursery earlier in the week and was basically left to wander the lot alone to figure out what I needed and where everything was.

The prices were great and I was able to pick up 7 plants to begin on my butterfly garden.

Will definately be going here before I go anywhere else moving forward.

Matt was amazing to support my local community National Night Out by donating geraniums for my gardening enthusiast neighbors! I love the staff at this garden center. The fact that this small business owner supports the local community is amazing!

We had the BEST experience here during our vacation! The staff very kind, helpful, and knowledgable. We don't have any nurseries where we are from and the selection here was AMAZING! We found a variegated string of pearls and tradescantia bubblegum.. Two plants we have been looking for but can't find locally.

We will absolutely be back before we head home. ☺️

We came to Hilltop looking for a large bird bath, and while the selection for those wasn’t as big as we had hoped, everything else more than made up for it. The customer service was outstanding. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and welcoming. They have a huge variety of plants, both indoor and outdoor, along with pots, seeds, and pretty much anything you’d need for your gardening needs. Even though we didn’t find the bird bath we were looking for, we left impressed by the quality of the store and the staff.

This is by far the best garden center I have been to in Colorado. I can't say that enough. Avalon is amazing!! She is super knowledgeable and loves to teach and talk about plants. She is always super helpful with helping me save, analyze, and purchase new houseplants. We always have a wonderful time discussing a variety of topics pertaining to plants. I look forward to going to her with new plant projects and/or checking with her to make sure my current plant projects are successful. The staff that I have encountered at this garden center are very friendly, sincere, and overjoyed to help out with any plant needs I have. The prices are great, plants are well taken care of, and they have a plethora of amazing plant accessories/products that keep your plants thriving.
I can't recommend this place enough and I will definitely be a long-term customer. Thank you Hilltop Gardens and thank you AVALON!!

I found this place and loved it i went every weekend for a month and a half . I even bought a $160 cactus one time . However on this particular day I went it late afternoon midweek and seen a few plants I wanted . One happen to be on the %50 percent off rack . I grabbed it and another cheap plant and when to check out The lady rung me up at %50 percent on that particular plant , which I seen on the screen then deleted it and went ahead and rang it up with her own numbers which did not honor the half off . I’m not mad it was only a few bucks but it’s principle . I really liked this place and the selection was awesome just little shady stuff like that I don’t like. Why advertise somethin half off then change the price literally at the counter ?!? I’m not going back unfortunately but they have good stuff

i'm not sure why you're selling plants that you have no clue about care for. I bought some strawberry plants from these folks within a week. One of them was dead. The other were wilting and dying leaves were curling under had brown spots on them so I called the nursery to get some advice on what to do with their strawberries that are not doing well and the lady acted like she couldn't get me off the phone quick enough by telling me we don't do refunds and maybe you didn't plant it correctly. I just called to ask if there was anything that maybe they could help me out with to make sure that their plants would grow healthy in my situation that I had but she didn't want to hear any of that and just wanted to get off the phone and go about her business. Wanted to tell me to look for bugs. I will never be back to this place again.

This is the only place I buy my house plants from. Everywhere else I bring home a new bug infestation or the plant does a slow death.

Every plant from this business has flourished in our household. Everyone is really friendly and knowledgeable, so happy to have found them!
