We recently used Sam The Concrete Man. The team of four worked in extreme summer heat taking up our grass, putting in form and pouring concrete to create our backyard patio. We were so pleased at the quality of work, and professionalism of Mike’s team. We would recommend them to anybody and will probably use them again. They were on time, knowledgeable, respectful, and polite. And they did an exceptional job cleaning up.

Lee and his crew were prompt, courteous and tidy. They did an excellent job of tearing out my old driveway and a beautiful job of laying down the new one. After they were finished they spent at least another hour cleaning up my property and the street. Brent, the owner, explained everything in detail and was true in every aspect of the contract. I would highly recommend Sam the Concrete Man for your concrete needs.

Excellent service from beginning to end. I couldn't be happier with the finished product. What I appreciated most was the communication and how professional they were. From the moment I contacted Sam the concrete man to job completion, Brent (the owner) and Mike ( the job foreman) communicated every step of the way. They showed up on time, were fast and efficient, went above and beyond, and cleaned up at the end of the day. There were no surprises, no hidden costs and they were happy to answer any question I had. I would one hundred percent recommend them and I'll be hiring them again for a second project.

Extremely professional, gave me an estimate and listened to exactly what I wanted. Brent's efficiency and kindness gave the process ease. The accommodations given for understanding was beyond what I could of asked for. They gave timeline and stuck to them, communication was excellent, when the crew came they were Extremely talented,hard working, professional. Their work was a masterpiece from my driveway to the sidewalk and stairs. Truly a masterpiece of artistry.

It is now June and we still are waiting to resolve our issues.

We hired Brent "Sam the Concrete Man" July of 2025 for concrete overlay of our sidewalk & covered patio area. This April when we arrived home from snowbirding in Arizona.... we discovered 5 cracks in our walk and patio area. Called Brent since there is suppose to be a one year warranty.... after several phone calls and sending photos to him at his request, we get one text message that he's really busy but alas still no response. Customer service after the work is not what we hoped for.

We are so excited for the fabulous patio Sam the Concrete Man just poured for us! Brent was very accommodating, professional,
and friendly. Mike and his crew(Sequoia and Troy) were great to work with. They are very experienced, detailed and thorough. They were very creative in solving the issues our project presented, and took into consideration our ideas. They worked hard, were on time , and they did a fabulous job cleaning up. Not a speck of concrete landed in our pool! On top of that they were friendly too! The kind of guys you'd want to have a beer with. We highly recommend and would hire them again.

Brent was fantastic to work with, He was very responsive and knew exactly what we needed to do to get our driveway replaced and fixed correctly with the proper slope away from the house. His crew with Lee as the foreman was amazing, they really are artist with concrete. They did an outstanding job, and highly recommend the team at Sam's concrete to get the job done right! Thank you all for the hard work in the heat the last few days!

They heard our complaint and will try to be better in the future. Where does that leave us? At no time did they offer to correct their mistakes.
What a mess! The width of the sidewalk varies from 19 to 22 inbches--it's like looking in a funhouse mirror. The edges are ragged, and there are depressions where water pools when it rains. We hope to find a competent concrete contractor who might make this disaster look better.

These people cost me hundreds of dollars when their crew left my garage door open all night. The next morning, I found that their negligence caused me to lose a bicycle., air compressor, and other items. You don't leave garage doors open, inviting thieves. Fortunately, I had the battery switch on my car turned off, or it would have been gone as well. Brent Boyle did compensate me, but then he stopped payment on the check! I finally had to go to court, and even then, I didn't nearly get adequate compensation for my loss.

Don’t let Sam the Concrete Man anywhere near your house.

Brent, the owner, of Sam the Concrete Man, was like Johnny on the spot! He was quick to provide a bid, fit us in between bigger jobs, and worked with Jamal, the project manager, to get it done. (These men rock!) The whole process was amazingly quick and incredibly well executed. Brent said that some people like the end product so much they become concrete junkies (my interpretation, not his exact words), and he’s right. I am officially a concrete junkie. I cannot wait to work with both Brent and Jamal again! Five thumbs up!! (I’d post pictures, but because we are still working on the house, we have two-toned paint. Ick.).

Brent and the crew widened our driveway approach flawlessly. Their estimate was reasonable and they did everything they said they were going to and in less than 2 days including all the city permits and inspections.

The crew was all business. They were respectful with us and our neighbors. They cleaned up after the first day and at job end completely.

It was a joy to find and work with a company that is all about serving their customers. They completely earned all 5 stars! Highly recommend them!

Would not recommend. Terrible communication skills from Brent, took months for them to come back and fix their mistakes. Didn’t seem to care about me after they took my money

We had Brent from Sam the Concrete Man come out to bid fixing a very poorly done patio we had done last year by Spokane Concrete and Excavating(SCE). It was poured at an angle so it wasn’t level! Brent did the bid to remove and replace the patio but also suggested calling SlabJack to have to patio leveled out. I was able to get a quote from SlabJack for considerably less than replacing the patio. So so so thankful that Brent suggested this even if they didn’t get the bid. In the future I will be calling Sam the Concrete Man for any future projects. I have included pictures of the before and after patio plus showing how much it needed to be raised.

Just completed a large driveway installation and couldn’t be happier with the end result and especially the crew. They were clearly experts in their trade, and were very pleasant to work with. Job site mgr. Brent Boyle made periodic visits and made sure that we were completely satisfied with the work.

Our shared driveway, probably dating back to 1911, was cracked, heaving and the tilting curbs were a tire shredding nightmare! Having requesting estimates from eight different contractors, we decided on Sam the Concrete Man. Brent Boyle, Owner, presented us with the most reasonable estimate. Kim, their receptionist, is extremely personable and addressed all questions and requested contact information. Jamal’s Crew is beyond amazing. Working on Spokane’s South Hill presents numerous geological issues! The utility issue (ground level gas line) was totally unexpected and totally changed the original project plan. This Crew solved every single issue! The results are perfectly amazing. We highly recommend this Contractor and this Crew!

Sam the Concrete Man (Brent), was an awesome company to work with. We had a few extra items that needed to be addressed and all was done professionally and quickly. We are very pleased with both the driveway and curbing.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would. Working with Brent with Sam the Concrete Man to extend our backyard patio was one of the best home improvement decisions we’ve ever made.
