What a disaster! My initial contact with Bent was great. The original bid process was awesome, in fact! I was able to record a video of the area where I wanted a 13 X 17 exposed aggregate patio, and the very next day I received a bid for the project. The bid was reasonably priced, they could start within a week, and they could do the work in one day... And that's where the pleasant experience ended! Jamal, the contractor lead, hadn't bothered to evaluate the property beforehand, and because of this lack of planning, had to schedule a concrete pump truck... first delay. Then by the time the pad was poured late the next day, it was too late to finish... second delay. Jamal said that he would show up early Saturday to acid wash and seal. Didn't show up at all. I had to call Brent, the owner, to find out that Jamal was worried about rain in the forecast (It did not rain that day, and in fact we had perfect weather for 4 days, starting on the first day). So then Jamal shows up on Monday to acid wash and seal... with a forecast of 60% chance of rain that day! He claimed that he was going to use a quicker drying sealant, and that rain wouldn't be an issue... The project was finally completed almost a week after the start date. They had piled sod up on the grass, killing a section of my lawn. The patio forms were not sufficient for the thickness of the pad, letting concrete flow out from underneath which created underflow of concrete around the entire pad that looks AWEFULL! They spilled acid was on the lawn next to where their work truck was parked. killing several other sections of lawn. I then reached out to Brent with my complaints and got no response. I've already paid for the project, so I guess that's where the customer service ends! I will NEVER use these guys again!!! And now I'll have to pay someone else to come out and clean up their mess!

I originally posted this review and got a text from the owner, Brent, asking if there was anything he could do to make it right. I said, “Yeah, come fix it!” So two weeks later, he sends a couple of guys out, they look at it and say they have to go get a saw to clean up the edges. They left and didn’t return. When I called Brent to ask what happened, he said they were on another job and wouldn’t be able to come until Monday. (this is Friday) I told him not to bother. I’ll just have to pay someone else to come out and fix their mess! What a terrible operation they run. Most mismanaged company I think I’ve ever delt with!!!

We wanted to upgrade from our Flagstone patio to a larger, Exposed Aggregate patio. The bid process was very easy with the short video submittal followed by a meeting with Brent. Jamal and Mike came to work their magic and we now have a patio that exceeds our expectations.

The whole process was quick and easy from project bid to sipping wine!

Friendly people who specialize in all facets of construction with concrete. The family atmosphere of the office is immediately inviting, and the professionalism and friendliness of the staff make Joswig a must visit for any of your concrete needs.

They would come and set up forms one day and not come back for days, then pour some and not show up for days, this pattern repeated all summer delaying all other contractors.
Within a week of pouring out sidewalks the concrete cracked in several places, not sure if this is due to inferior/wet concrete being used or the fact they didn't put in the proper expansion joints.
If it was my choice I would not have used this company but they were just one of many contractors the general contractor used for the project.
