Ricardo S. Ty W. And Michael C. Did a great job. Under the circumstances of this job, Ricardo handled everything professionally, was patient with my elderly parents and ultimately made them both very satisfied with their work. Well done and thanks again!

Very informative. Clear and concise. Gave us many options. Daniel is a wonderful and honest person and was so helpful with our questions. The crew lead by Anthony, with Jordan, Uriel, and Richard did professional work. The finished product is wonderful and can already feel the results in the house. Would 1000% recommend. Just keep in mind it is a very messy job. These guys do the best they can to keep it clean.

To say I’m impressed with Groundworks & their field inspector Dan Southerland would be an understatement. Dan came out for a free inspection & went above & beyond a typical inspection & free estimate to take care of me & set me up for success. He spent over a hour under my house taking over a hundred pictures of my existing support system or lack there of, measuring the moisture in my existing support beams & sub flooring, using his laser level to measure sinkage, and catching issues unrelated to my home structure like a sewer line leak. Utilizing his 31 years of expertise in the industry plus his knowledge as a home inspector, he clearly & kindly communicated to me the stark reality of my 1948 home that has had a few renovations without permitting. He shared big picture the foundation & structural repair my home needs, & then he listened & customized a plan that I could financially make work. He offered me several options. I never felt rushed or pressured. He was in my home for about six hours and even rescheduled his afternoon to make sure we were able to complete. I felt fortunate to have his expertise and support in what has been along an ongoing challenge under my house. I look forward to working with Groundworks and I’m excited to see the end result.

The Team at Groundworks (Tripp, Ryder and Olli) did a fantastic foundation leak repair incorrectly done from a previous remodel. This Team are real pros, great communication, arrived on time, completed the work on time with no surprises or delays. I give Groundworks an A+ on this job and will use their services again without hesitation. Great job Groundworks!

Jose and his Atlanta crew were absolutely amazing. Hard working, polite and respectful. Although hard working does not do this crew justice. They were superhuman! I hope I never need their services mind you, but they were legendary. Great group of young men.

The crew from Groundworks was simply amazing. Joshua W, Charles U, Ty G, and John A were very professional. While they were working outside and under the house, I could hear them talking and they were respectful to each other. No cussing, no yelling, just treating each other like they were valued team members. That really impressed me. Charles U. was training to be a supervisor and he did amazing! I was shocked when we were told this was his first time taking the lead; he did a great job. Once the work was done under the house, they took great pains to ensure the load bearing beams were level and all the jacks were tight. Joshua W. explained everything so well, and truly I was so impressed with these young men! They are a credit to the company and to the kind of men they have grown up to be. As an “old fart”, I hear so much about how the younger generations leave a lot to be desired, but this crew proved them all wrong. There are amazing young men.

The crew was professional, quick and neat. We were thrilled our slider door opened easily after the repair. We had several bids and Groundworks was very reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend!

Had a great meeting with Matthew Wyatt yesterday. He was able to measure our foundation and his tablet was able to produce an accurate as-built of our conditioned crawl space for estimating some additional work we wanted to have done. Matthew was very thorough and knowledgeable.

I had 3 different teams come out for my repairs. First, Roman & his assistant performed the concrete leveling, they did an excellent job & cleaned up all of their debris. It’s very nice to have a level sidewalk & patio!
Second, Kendel & his crew came out to install the leveling/stabilizing portion. I will say it was louder than I expected, almost as much as having a roof replaced. I did have to leave with my dogs because they were stressed. They did a great job also, I was able yo run across my house & jump up & down & there was no bounce! Yay!!
Third, Josh & his crew came out to remove the old insulation & install the “encapsulation” system. That one was a 2 day job. They did a great job, I was able b to mention to Josh about something that seemed off from the leveling & he was able to address it (it wasn’t the work, it was my home’s unique attributes!). I wasn’t aware until we scheduled the work that I needed an electrician for the dehumidifier that’s in the crawl space, I was told that they had their own if I wanted, but I used a local electrician instead.
Overall I am very pleased with each crew that came out, the one thing I told my husband is that the communication was great. From Robert, who came out to inspect & give us a quote, to each crew that performed work. If I had questions they were b great b about answering, if there were issues they’d discusses them with me.
I definitely recommend this company, I hope to find out if the encapsulation does help my electric bill, since w heading into the cold part of the year I’m sure I’ll find out quick. -
Let me start off by saying Im super impressed with the site work crew Malik, Andy, and Brian. This crew is very professional, personable, and works REALLY hard! Please be sure to convey this to whoever is in their up-line as they each deserve kudos for being great employees and representatives of Groundworks.
I am very pleased as well with our estimator Zaire. He was always available to answer questions and spent a lot of time with me to make sure I understood the whole process. Zaire made a very expensive endeavor a lot less stressful. -
I want to say thank you to Groundworks for helping with my foundation repair.
The first person I met — the inspector, Gardner Kerin — was very clear and honest. He came to our house did free estimate. He spent few hours in my house and explained the problem and the solution in a way I could understand which made me feel more comfortable to move forward with Groundworks. Also, along the whole process, whenever I had issue and question, he was always the first person I can count on. Very professional.
Permit process took little bit time which is expected in my area. Austin also helped me every step away for that.
The crew — Samuel Russu, Sergel, Ivan — were excellent. They arrived on time every day and worked really hard, even when the weather wasn’t great. They were respectful, polite, and very focused on doing the job right. They answered my questions kindly and showed me what they were doing along the way, which made me feel included and informed.
I was also impressed with how clean they kept everything. After they finished, they made sure the work area was tidy and washed my driveway and backyard patio completely.
I really appreciate the effort and care they put into their work. Thank you again to Gardner, Samual and the amazing crew. I definitely recommend Groundworks if you need foundation repair. -
Mel Darling from Groundworks Seatac came out to give us an estimate on some uneven sidewalks around our house. She explained the process very clearly and was upfront on the risks and probabilities. Because of the location of the sidewalks there was a chance that their process wouldn't work 100% in some spots. She explained that thoroughly and helped me make an informed decision. We decided to go ahead and it got scheduled reasonably quickly.
Mel put together a very detailed project description for the crew that came out. They were very knowledgeable, professional, efficient, and they cleaned everything up when they were done.
The results were better than we expected. Based on the project plan Mel prepared for the crew, and with their expertise, none of the issues that we had discussed came about and all the uneven spots in the sidewalks are gone.
Mel was great to work with (and just a nice person too) and the crew did very well. I especially appreciate Mel's professionalism, depth of knowledge, and honesty. We would use Groundworks again in a heartbeat. -
I tried to schedule a crawlspace inspection with Groundworks twice online, and both times I received on-screen confirmation. No one ever showed up, no confirmation email was sent, and when I finally got through to their national call center, I was told there was no appointment at all.
After explaining that I had already submitted the form twice, the agent offered to rebook me for a date four days later—no attempt to expedite, no ownership, and the usual “we apologize/have a nice day” script.
When a company’s technology fails, the correct answer isn’t “we’re switching systems,” it’s to fix the customer’s problem, not make the customer start over.
Groundworks’ process is broken, their online scheduling doesn’t work, and their text and phone system route you in circles. I needed urgent help after a significant water intrusion, and instead, I received a master class in corporate indifference. -
Add me to the list of happy Groundworks customers for a concrete leveling repair job that was done professionally, neatly and exactly as promised. The crew was on time and worked hard for close to 6 hours in 90 degree heat. The end result looks great!

Alex, Uri and Luis were absolutely incredible from the time they arrived. Our house was built in 1938 and they took such good care of it and kept us informed the entire time. They secured our foundation, crawl space and basement. There were many times I was very nervous but they reassured me that the house was okay and the process was normal. They left the landscaping better than it was when they arrived! Truly an incredible experience! I cannot recommend them enough.
P.S. When Mike Rowe says they show up in Superman capes he’s not wrong! 😊 -
Best to get a second bid from Terra Firma, at least you will have something to base it on.
Let my mistake help you …
It’s hard to judge the price when you have nothing to compare it too, I feel the initial 10k was a gimme & the 29k on top of that was for the job! I was left with no invoice for work done or materials. I was also left with no literature on the two sub pumps & air unit that was installed in the space. As far as the sells tactics I feel like the % discount off is a Jedi mind trick to make you feel like you are getting something when you really are not, everyone gets the Discount, don’t be fooled.
I was also informed that it was a four person team vs a three person team, curious did I pay to train to new guy? I feel this company needs to be much more transparent going further that is why you get a score of just two stars.
Jacob N was the lead on this job and was extremely professional & a great communicator. Jacob answered all my questions & took time to explain everything that was going on with the encapsulation, method & product being used to get the job done. The rest of the crew were very quiet & respectful: Richard S, Timothy C & Christian L all keep their heads down (they were in a crawl space, funny) and kept busy. -
I had 4 companies come out to inspect my sinking foundation. Groundworks stood out by far. Steve was very knowledgeable and very thorough. He found and explained far more issues than others found and gave me a complete picture of what was going on with my house as a whole. Sam and crew came out to lift and stabilize my foundation and replace the supports underneath. Sam was very communicative throughout the process, making sure I informed on everything they were doing and how it would help the house. I was surprised how quickly they worked. After they finished and cleaned up I couldn't even tell they had dug holes to the foundation. Overall great experience.

The first schedule changed due to the crew being late and not effectively communicating.
Called the office the hour of expected arrival to learn they were running a couple hours late and had to reschedule another day.
The lead for that crew showed up on time and completed the work in a timely manner and seemingly good craftsmanship.
I am however having a bit of buyers remorse given the routing of the power feeds.
I did not realize that this would be as intrusive visually when explained to me the location of the pump which was different than what the salesperson laid out in the drawing.
Not blaming Ground Works, just thought there would be one smaller drain pipe up the wall and had no vision of the battery location.
That’s on me. But the routing of the wires could and should have been better located out of site.
In the end I lost three AC outlets and had to provide an extension chord on my dime.
Overall decent work but things could have been much better.
Update:
Shortly after the completion of the work,Groundworks sent a QA person to have a look.
It was agreed that this could have been done differently.
We are now working on specifics.
The response from Groundworks has been very professional and I have high hopes of quickly having resolution.
Update:
I was sent a new proposal.
It essentially has me paying nearly the same a mount as I originally spent this doubling my cost to have the original issue addressed properly.
I feel this has not been dealt with in a customer friendly fashion. When the company rep came out to look over the work the first time, he indicated things should have been done much differently.
I am somewhat disappointed.
Also, the first real rain came last night and there is still significant water coming into the basement.
This should have, I feel, been addressed in a more effective manner.
At this point, I will not recommend Groundworks.
So, after a couple months of messin about,
Groundworks came out and relocated-the channel drain across the garage door threshold.
Looks better and performs excellent this far-basement is bone dry!
Thank you! -
Efficient work process. Kender, Luis, and Asher worked diligently from arrival to cleanup. Great communication thru the entire process by foreman Kender. All questions answered and everything explained during the process. Met all expectations!
-
Excellent work to repair our crawlspace! Had to redo the entire space from replacing the sump pump to encapsulating the whole area and Jose and his crew were on time and kept me informed along the way. Finished in only 3 days! Mel was amazing at getting us set up and scheduled since we really needed immediate help. Grateful for their help and support and making the space safe, clean and accessible. Thank you to the Groundworks team!

It was a pleasure working with Ernest Vigil. He came to my house and did a thorough measurement of my crawlspace for the estimate. He was responsive throughout the installation process. On the second day of the job, Ernest called me and informed me that the crew told him his map for the job was inaccurate and they had to dig a lot more which resulted in an additional ~$3,500 cost. Initially he was just going to accept what the crew told him. I told him their explanation didn't make sense, and insisted that he should come over to verify. He came after the crew quit working early on that day, went down to the crawlspace and discovered the crew was digging where they are not supposed to.
Then on the fourth day, when I returned from work in the afternoon, the crew was about to leave and told me they had finished everything. I didn't see the new drainage system that was included in the quote so I asked them about this. They said they connected the new sump pump to the old drainage. I remember Ernest told me their company wouldn't use previous systems because you don't know if they still work. So I called Ernest about this. The crew also didn't replace the door which was also included in the quote. I told them about this, they quickly put together a door then left. Fortunately I thought about checking it and discovered all screws were sticking out from the other side of the door with sharp tips (I almost got poked, which was why I noticed it). I told Ernest about this too. He took care of both issues and had the crew come back the next day to fix them. He then came over to inspect the work and took pictures/videos.
So now the system seems to be working fine. Attached is the picture Ernest liked the most.
