Completed my foundation repair with Groundworks.
I must say, Alex is the most professional, genuine and ethical expert to work with. During inspection, he went over everything in detail and explained the needed repairs. He built trust and came up with a reasonable proposal to fix. Jospeh, Louis and Alex were present during the repair. We were impressed by their attention to details and we highly recommend their service.
I will definitely come back to this business.

Overall very good service and I'm hoping this solves my foundation issue for a while. The price is definitely expensive but if the piers stabilize the house forever then it'll be worth it.

The inspection was detailed and a good plan was put together to support the side of the house that needed it most. The project got started sooner than expected and the ground grew (Anthony) were great. Everything went smooth, the house was raised enough to get it more stable without breaking any existing fixtures so we couldn't get it perfectly back flat but it's still great.

The crew cleaned up well and you would have no idea the posts are there.

We reached out to Groundworks in Sunnyvale because we had concerns about water in our crawlspace. Shayan, one of their inspectors/assessors, promptly came to our house and did a thorough inspection. He was very thorough and patient in explaining our situation (he showed pictures and measurements of our crawl space) and our options. After his overview of our situation and viable solutions, we decided to work with Groundworks to put a triple sump pump in our crawl space. All in all, I am very impressed with Groundworks and by the thoroughness and friendliness of their staff.

UPDATE 2/17/26: After the first big rain of the season, my sump pump/perimeter trench operated flawlessly! Until it didn’t. I inspected and found a kink in the trench where water/dirt/mud is getting backed up and consequently overflowing. There’s also a beeping sound coming from the sump pump itself. I’ve called for a service appointment not once, not twice, but THREE times over the past month and a half. NO ONE HAS CALLED ME BACK!!! They guarantee their product for 20 years but what good is it if no one comes back to service when you have issues or even calls you back?!?! Meanwhile, my basement still floods and I’m out thousands of dollars.

Groundworks is awesome! Highly recommend 👍 Everyone from the office to the job site were professional and knowledgeable. The project was managed seamlessly from bid to completion. Angelo came to inspect and we worked on a solution for a new drainage/sump pump system because our crawl space floods during heavy rains. He was super informative and helpful. Office ladies and PM’s were on top of scheduling and super responsive. A couple days before the project, I was notified that Josh and his crew were on our project. They showed up on time, informed about the project, and were super nice! Not only that, Nelson’s crew showed up to help and all the guys completed the job in half the time! I’m super happy that I went with Groundworks, everyone was a pleasure to work with!

Jose, Vidal and crew were amazing! They explained the process every step of the way, were so friendly yet professional and went above and beyond to clean the site all throughout the process. I cannot say enough about the team. When you make an investment of this size into your home you want to feel confident in your decision and the work. Rico and Robbie came to level the concrete slabs on my back patio which had been slowly receding for 40+ years. What they did was absolutely amazing. When they finished the patio looked brand new!!! I highly recommend them. Professional people with great personalities and very easy to talk with and tell me how everything worked.

Ashton with the service department came out and corrected my doors and the floors and I couldn't be happier with the results. Definitely ask for Ashton by name if you want top tier service, he wouldn't leave until everything was just right and I'm sure he will do the same for you. Really helpful thank you.

I recently had my home’s foundation repaired by Groundworks, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the crew—Ramon, Enrique, and Michael. From start to finish, they were professional, courteous, and clearly took great pride in their work.

Ramon, the job foreman, was outstanding in his communication. Every morning he took the time to explain what work was planned for the day, and each afternoon he provided a clear update on what had been completed. That level of transparency and organization made the entire process smooth and stress-free.

Had a great consultation with Mark! He was very professional and did an extensive inspection of the property and the crawl space. He was patient and clearly explained his findings and suggested ways to address things. Overall, a really enjoyable experience!

Joel came out today to give me a quote. He was very thorough and honest about everything. He found and showed me some issues I didn’t even realize were there. Really detailed and professional.

James was extremely helpful and informative with inspecting my foundation. I feel like I took a popup class. He explained everything and let me know what to look out for. He gave suggestions and tips for future improvements and confirmed parts that had good structure, including reassurance about places I had concerns. I was nervous about the inspection, but he made it very easy.

Ramon and Henrique were awesome to help get the drain system installed in our house. The quality of work, intensive labor involved in the process, these guys just did the hard work with utmost professionalism and good quality work. They both and the whole team was very responsive to feedback through out the process and helped us get to finish the project on time. For us, there was a little hiccup when scope had to be adjusted to the new findings in the crawlspace, for which groundworks adapted well to the new challenges and accommodate us. Cheers!

He is one of the best inspector/estimator I have ever seen.
He came on time, evaluated my house situation, took pictures, measure inside, out side of the house. He spend time to inspect difficult job of crawling space, took picture, find problem, and provided us with excellent options and estimate.

Vidal and his crew, Andre and Joey, did a great job! We did an encapsulation of our crawl space and added a sump pump and dehumidifier. The project went longer than anticipated due to weather, which you just can’t control but Vidal put in so much extra time to catch things up. He kept me updated throughout the entire process and we appreciated how hard he and his team worked to make up for the lost time. These jobs can also get pretty messy but they left our home very clean. I also very much appreciated Vidal making me aware of plumbing issues we had. If he had said nothing these would have continued without us knowing. They aren’t the cheapest BUT I don’t regret spending the extra money. They do very good high quality work and I feel like we got what we paid for.

Five-star service from Derek and Cody! Managing a fourplex inspection in Menlo Park can be a logistical headache, but these two made it seamless by working around both my schedule and my tenants'. They are absolute pros—courteous, efficient, and great at what they do. I hope to have them on every inspection moving forward. Highly recommended!
