Concrete Contractor reviews across the US

Kept promising to get our patio done for 3 weeks now and after many excuses they are now non-responsive. Several days taken off work to wait for them but have been no shows. Called the city of Parma and find they do not even have permits to work in the city of Parma where they are located. Terrible customer service and communication.

This is the first review I have ever written. They poured a garage slab for us. After they finished, I paid them in cash per his request as a favor (my mistake). I realized the next day that the footers/rat wall were severely out of square AND level. The slab itself is also pretty sloppy and drastically sloped in random directions. (Side note...it is a detached garage and did not need any pitch). I told him that I had a "small issue" so that he would not be alarmed and scare him away. Unfortunately he knew exactly what the issue was and told me that he said he would call me back. That was the last I heard from him. He screened all of my calls and texts. The footers were so bad that we were unable to build the walls for the garage. I had to spend an extra $1500 to fix his work in order to continue construction. I could honestly go on and on about many more issues but I will leave it at that. ☹️

After spending all summer debating who should do our waterproofing job, we decided to hire B. Rich Concrete and Waterproofing. His price was very reasonable compared to other companies that seemed to want to gouge us, and he was willing to fit us into his very tight schedule so we could have the job done before winter. Libby, who works in the office, was awesome with communication, always responsding to questions within 24 hours, which we really appreciated.

I don’t know much about what goes into waterproofing, however Brian did a great job educating us on the process. We unfortunately had to tear up part of our relatively new driveway to get the job done, however he worked with our original concrete guy so that the driveway will match up as best as possible! As far as I can tell things look great! Also during the process part of our siding got damaged, however Brian was upfront and honest about the damage and made sure it was repaired before the job was done. His siding guy did a perfect job matching it up and I can’t even tell there was an issue! Job was finished in three days, looks great and the crew was quiet, curtious and kept everything clean. Great job guys!

Waterproofed my home and also replaced the basement wall great job had a few rainy days so far and not even a little water has come in so far fair pricing great people I would recommend for any waterproofing job

I would prefer to give zero stars. Beware of this company. Left the job site a complete disaster and safety hazard. They promised several times to come fix it and never showed up. Extremely unprofessional. Now left with an expensive safety hazard.

Your representative came to my home and was most informative and very considerate of my feelings about my problems. I felt listened to and had the best advice I could be given. I will follow through with every one of his suggestions I would trust him with my life. He was very caring of my concerns and offered the best solutions to my problems. Thank you.

Olshan was one of three foundation companies I contacted. I received one outrageous quote to do the entire house, and another company basically said, "Have your boyfriend fix it; it's not a foundation problem, it is a washout problem."

Mike Wright was professional, courteous, and punctual. (And he had a great sense of humour!!) He advised/reassured me it was not a foundation problem and gave me contact information for a concrete company that can reinforce the carport slab.

So far an almost perfect experience. I did not like that initially there was an AI chatbot texting me and I had to ask it if it was AI. However, once with a human, Mike has been amazing. Quick quotes, thorough explanations and overall just a kind guy and great representation for the company. Thank you Mike!

The service/Shawn was prompt, informative, and attentive, offering solutions without any high-pressure sales tactics. It stood out in comparison to other companies that evaluated the home for the same issue. Additionally, they provided helpful literature to clarify the available solution options.

Shawn came out and took a look under our house and let us know we didn’t need any work done. We really appreciated his honesty and professionalism.

I left a message requesting an appointment, didn’t hear back so called the next day 3/11. Appointment set for 3/12 9am, received a text 8pm 3/11, they were double booked, set an appointment for 10:30 on 3/12. Immediately received another email setting appointment for 10:30 on 3/13. No one ever showed or called, wouldn’t have hired them as they probably wouldn’t show to do the work!
In reply to your response, interesting that your office sent me an email, then I received 2 emails from the person coming out-changing the appointment date/time twice. Your excuse doesn’t apply

I scheduled an appointment a week and a half ago. I took a half day off work and they never showed nor called to say they couldn’t make it or reschedule!

Great experience with Abraham, Mario and his team that installed a channel drain and subsurface drain to address ponding on the back patio and near the foundation. Mario listened to questions patiently, explained every step of the project, changed the plan based on my input and his experience. He and his crew worked hard only taking a break for water and lunch. Marked down a star due to experience with Cody on sales team who failed to communicate important information that delayed the project start such as that he was not submitting HOA application after saying he was and did not own up to his own miscommunications.
