D&S Yardworks has been our "go to" business for larger projects around the yard. Dan has always been professional, prompt, thorough, and pricing has always been fair. We also love that he has his daughters involved with the business as well. Our most recent project was a large area in our front yard where we had multiple large oak trees and stumps removed. Brush was cleared out, area leveled, fresh topsoil and grass seed put down. It has truly transformed are front yard and all work exceeded expectations. As always if we have any other future projects around our property we will be contacting D&S Yardworks.

We had 9+ trees removed and Dan and his crew did a great job. I especially loved the fact that his two daughters worked with him. It was cool watching him stand back at times and let the ladies do the heavy duty work. I would absolutely hire him again.

Dan and his crew arrived with in agreed time frame. All work was fully explained to me, including cost. Which was well earned considering the amount of work involved and size of tree. His presentation was professional and courteous. Did I forget to mention friendly and sincere, yes that too. It was obvious that he knew what he was doing because he guided the cut pieces with precision. Placing them safely away from all structures. I watched them work for hours and I was in awe.They completed cleaned up after as if it was brand new, minus the tree. Excellent is all I can say. And yes I'm hiring him again come spring. Bill G. Dan came to discuss our needs, provided a very competitive price, and completed the job in the tight timeframe we needed. He and his crew arrived and finished up on time. The worksite was left clean and neat, overall a very professional job!

When a 100 foot tree was starting to lean quite ominously over my home, D&S were able to come and hastily neutralize it before it had a chance to do any damage. They were efficient and even left my yard in great shape with a through clean up. Reasonably priced, honest, and a pleasure to do with business with. I'll definitely be using them again in the future for any yard work needs.

Sadly, we had nine diseased ash trees that needed to be removed from our yard. Not all within easy reach. Dan and crew did a great job managing the complicated process of getting the trees out with minimal damage to my perennial gardens and yard. Dan was always responsive, professional, very accommodating and reasonably priced. They also did a fantastic job of cleanup, putting everything back together in good order. Go with D&S....you won’t be disappointed.

Dan and his team did a great job taking down and hauling away several trees for me. One a tricky large split pine right near the house that had to drop in a pretty small area right between a rose bush and Japanese maple. Every bit of debris created they cleaned up and took away. Really great job.

This is the only yard service I would ever use. While they were taking down a tree in my yard right next to my driveway, I had to leave for a doctors appointment . When I came back, they were done and gone. I couldn’t find a leaf nor a bit of sawdust. Dan’s crew cleaned my yard much better than I would’ve ever expected. His girls are the best.

Used these guys for firewood delivery. Worked with Dan and his daughter Emma with length of wood, # cords and delivery. Outstanding service! Highly recommend if you’re needing firewood.

Dan and his crew did a huge job for me at my house that involved removing dead trees, a bunch of stumps, and a huge brush patch. I still can't believe how much work they did for me, and at a great price. Dan and his crew are very friendly and professional. They showed up, got the job done, were very willing to work with me, and overall did a fantastic job. Would definitely use their services again in the future.

D&S Yardworks was fantastic. Our huge tree came down due to rot. Along with the tree were all the branches that broke and shattered all over the lawn. As you can see by the before and after photos, the clean up was completed. D&S Yardworks was very professional. They raked the yard and made sure the lawn was spotless before they left. Very disappointed in the wood delivery - we chose not to pay the additional money to have the wood “tumbled and cleaned” and were given a large amount of the debris that appears to have come from their tumbler!! Large mess to clean up- uneven cuts of wood- we did get the full 2 cords- it does burn well

I ordered 2 cords of wood in August and they came within a week and dropped it off, quality was great very little junk.
I then ordered an additional cord a week or so ago in the beginning of October and it was mostly ends of 3 inches and a lot of rotten wood and mulch in the dump, maybe a usable 1/2 cord if that. Had to chuck most of it in the woods it wouldn't burn in the firepit outside.
So if you order from them get it early or your just getting the scrapping on the bottom of the piles.

After being referred by a friend who received 2 good cords in early fall, for $275/cord, the $325/cord quote for seasoned wood didn't seem bad for February. After dumped in my driveway, looked to be a large cord. I was wrong. After sifting through all the garbage that came along with it and stacking, NOT nearly a cord. But my biggest complaint is the wood is NOT seasoned. It will not burn (other than a few pieces of ash) or stay lit without constantly shoveling dry chips from previous splitting I did. Maybe if you pay the extra $50 up charge for tumbling you get a full dry cord. Hope this review gets the next guy what he pays for.
After your response: This review is 100% accurate, and I now feel obligated to respond to your Dishonesty. We never spoke on the phone, (Lie) we communicated through text messages which I'll be happy to post if necessary. I specifically inquired for prices on SEASONED wood. Your responses/communication never referred to anything other than seasoned. Tumbling? Yes, didn't care, still don't. After it was stacked, it was NOT a CORD. That was my issue. Sending me an extra ton of garbage to obfuscate it wasn't a cord was an aggravating factor. Being wet and unburnable was just as aggravating. Deliver what is expected. And when it's not, take it up with the responsible party, not lie about it in an attempt to negate an TRULY honest review. The only phone call was your driver calling to tell me she was a about an hour out from delivery.

I assumed 3 'scoops' would be required to fill the 8' bed of my truck. The scoop is very big, 2 pretty much loaded it, no way would even a half more fit. I spoke with Dan initially about the process, when I arrived someone operating machinery stopped what he was doing and had Dave load my truck. Excellent service. So, I got a 95% of a full size pickup truck load of split firewood (burnable now) for $100, a great deal. A lot of it is oak, all of it is good. I split some pieces again, but it's easy to.

We had Dan and his crew cut down two trees in our yard; one overhanging our house, the other a dying maple that split into three trunks. They did a great job without damaging other nearby landscape plants. They cleaned up all the debris, and the place looked great when they left. We also ordered cordwood from D&S and are very happy with the delivery. We would highly recommend Dan and his daughters, if only to watch Abby wield that chainsaw!

KSB Electric definitely provides outstanding service. Kevin, the owner is very responsive and great to work with. His crew does an amazing job. They were prompt, professional and very thorough. Outstanding!!! I highly recommend KSB and will be using them again in the future. Best company to hire for the job!!
