Dan was thorough & efficient in reviewing the several issues we had in several bathrooms of a house we recently moved into. His proposed solutions were great, pricing reasonable & he completed multiple repairs & installations on the same day!

I've been using Farmington Valley for around 4 years, and they have always been absolutely fantastic. Earlier this year, I mentioned to them that I needed a bathroom remodel, and they said they could do it for me. I was relieved because I had struggled to find a good company to do it, and I knew that with how they ran their business, I could trust they would do it well.

Jeff came out to go over my budget, needs, and design and was the first person who actually understood the challenge of a remodel when it was the only shower in the house, and was mindful of that right out of the gate, without me even having to bring it up. Other contractors would have cared less about that. He was so helpful in picking out quality materials that didn't break the bank. Also, I really prefer talking to the person who will actually DO the work or manage the work, and Jeff took care of every detail from start to finish. TJ on the team was also great- so friendly and easy to work with and Scott who has come out before for the plumbing did a great job as well.

I really can't say enough good things- this was the perfect experience from beginning to end. They worked within my budget, helped me choose great products, did an absolutely beautiful job, and communicated so well. They also did a great job of organizing the work so I was only without a shower for about 36 hours. I am so pleased with the end result, and anytime I need any other construction done in the house, Jeff is my first call.

Was home with my 4 year old and infant while one of this company’s plumbers came out because one of our showers upstairs wasn’t getting warm/hot anymore. The time to expect the plumber was from 10am-2pm and he showed up ten after 2pm, awesome start. The plumber who came quoted me $592 to change a shower mixing valve prior to starting the job, he said “plumbing is expensive you know?” And, “I’m also not charging you the $85 dispatch fee so it would have been $600 something.” I agreed to this quote and paid on the spot because, A. I had no idea what this job entailed because I am not a plumber, B. I am a very new first time homeowner and C. because i had an infant on my hip and 4 year old on my leg, both of whom were due for baths and needed warm water. The plumber who came out was upstairs working for 20 minutes. 20 MINUTES. I was shocked. When he left I researched standard shower mixing valves and couldn’t find one that cost more than $100 (and we do not have a fancy shower by any means) so that means $500 labor for 35 minutes from pulling in my driveway to leaving?…I ended up calling back expressing my concerns and asking for an itemized bill. I was told I would receive the invoice the next day. When I received my invoice from the company it did not break down the pricing of the part that was installed or charge for labor of the job, just the total, so I called again to get an itemized bill to which they responded “we can’t give you anymore breakdown than what you already received (which was no breakdown) because we do flat rate pricing”. I asked the woman Chelsea multiple times on the phone how much the shower mixing valve they installed costs and she could not or would not answer my question. She said she didn’t have access to the pricing because she was not a technician. So I am left paying a $592 bill for 35 minutes from arrival to departure? I was not accepting the answer she kept repeating which was that they do flat rate pricing so they could not tell me what the labor was because it was flat rate for the particular job. She stated “you obviously don’t like my response so I’ll have my supervisor Brian reach out to you so he can reiterate exactly what I just told you”. Thanks so much Chelsea. We are now 3 days later, during a work week and I haven’t heard from Brian or anyone else. I would never use this company again or recommend this company to anyone. I feel completely taken advantage of and ripped off.

Awesome customer service. Had a lengthy issue with a hot water heater that they did kit install. They contacted the water heater company and did all the research and leg work for us. Highly recommend.

Our entire experience with Farmington valley has been wonderful from the start. Everyone I spoke with was kind, answered all the questions I could throw at them and were so prompt with sending someone out to look at our water softener system. Zach came through and the job he did was genuinely amazing. From start to finish, he explained everything clearly and with professionalism. Our work was completed in less than 24 hours and we are so happy with how everything came out! Looking forward to working with this company again for other projects.

I contacted Farmington Valley Plumbing due to a water leak emergency in my house. I had a great experience from the moment my call was answered to Scott’s arrival and quickly repaired the problem. He was very efficient, professional, and courteous. I highly recommend this Company, and wonderful staff, without hesitation. I will definitely call them for any future needs.

I was pleasantly surprised that Keith was the plumber who was able to come to my rescue, once again. He is a very down to earth person, but always very professional. He had a long and dirty job of cleaning out the sewer pipe, and made doubly sure that it was completed properly before he left. As the owner of an old house, dealing with occasional problems like this, it can be very annoying and upsetting. But if I ever need a plumber, I have Farmington Valley Plumbing on speed dial, and Keith as my first choice. Happy New Year!!!

Dan was excellent! He was respectful of my home, friendly and very easy to work with.
He diagnosed the issue quickly and resolved it quickly.

I called late on Monday and they were able to get here Tuesday Morning. Nolan and Long worked very hard to find and solve the problem and they were not only professional but they we very nice and explained to me what they were doing step by step. On day 2 Ryan showed up with D and they were also amazing and completed fixing my septic issue. They both worked very hard to resolve the issue without having to tear up my parking lot and they were able to get me all fixed up! Great Company to deal with I would recommend them to anyone and it’s refreshing to have such great customer service !

Zach is an amazing, kind knowledgeable person. He was so thorough and went above and beyond expectations. So respectful. Detail oriented. The system he put in place is impeccable. I can’t recommend Farmington Valley Plumbing enough. Thank you.

I would advise not to do business with Farmington Valley Plumbing. Its unfortunate because their customer service was good at first until they decided to not be upfront with the cost. They will NOT have you approve a total amount for the repair, instead they have you agree to an ambiguous amount and then hit you with a unexpected bill, that's way over any estimate given. Then Megan in their office will treat you like you're unintelligent for questioning their practice of limiting visibility on the charges. The company seems to care more about getting over on the customer than being any kind of help.

Scott and Tj did an awesome job replacing my master walk-in shower! Changing all the shut off valves and fixing the garbage disposal. Highly recommend and they were able to come out and fix it in one day.

Keith was professional and productive. I had hoped your company would be good, and I am, so far, happier than expected. I’ve had a water pressure issue with the kitchen faucet for years. Keith fixed it! On to more projects with Keith, my plumber.

Professional service and great customer service.

Installed heat pump water heater around two months ago. Too early to comment on install quality or unit. But no complaints so far and very happy with current operation.

This was our third time working with Farmington Valley Plumbing, and once again the experience was wonderful! I called to inquire about replacing a leaking spigot, and Scott Martin was at our house the very next morning. Despite the challenges of working on an older home, he replaced it promptly and with ease.

When the new part malfunctioned unexpectedly, Scott returned the following day without hesitation and replaced the entire unit quickly—and at no cost. His professionalism, responsiveness, and kindness made the process stress-free.

Keith & Lex did an incredible job! Our shower was not providing any hot water. The shower and its components were older and difficult to reach. They were also leaking. They provided a full and accurate estimate and then got to work when the estimate was accepted. They basically had it completed in a morning! As well, they fixed other related items that really weren't part of the original task (due to old / outdated materials). They also cleaned up as they worked. They were professional and courteous. And a bonus - they got along really well with the 4 dogs that were here (who of course were trying to help them)! I would highly recommend Farmington Valley Plumbing!

Farmington Valley Plumbing did an outstanding job at my home. They replaced the well pump, installed a new pressure tank, and set up a filtration system, all completed quickly and efficiently. Zach took the time to explain everything clearly, including why the work was needed, which gave me great peace of mind. He and his team were professional, polite, and respectful throughout the entire process. They even left the work area cleaner than they found it. Excellent service from start to finish.
