Reviews of local pros in Ellington, Connecticut

Bryan and his partner have started restoring overgrown land for us. I can't wait for it to be finished! Pictures are before and after

We had a great experience with BT Tree! Tim went over everything in detail on what was planned and included before the work was started. The final result was exactly what our yard needed and then some! Wish we called them sooner. The pricing was very fair, I would definitely recommend and use these guys again!

G-ROCKs did a fantastic job helping me reclaim an area of overgrown brush and trees. They were very responsive and great to work with. Would absolutely use them again!

Merick and his crew were fantastic!! Very prompt response and returned texts and calls in a very timely manner. Estimate was very simple and I think a very fair price. Worked through the rain, left the lawn and yard in great condition. Could not recommend more highly!!

Merrick was excellent from beginning to end. The best prices you will find. The quality of their work is exceptional from tree removal to the cleanup. Orion and Merrick's work ethic will impress you, they go above a beyond and leave you feeling good about your decision to invest in improving your home landscape. Highly recommend these young men, both are gentlemen and completely customer focused. They are a throw back in terms of hard work, quality for a fair price.

Cedar Stone Tree Work LLC did an outstanding job for us. Merik stopped by our home last fall, checked in to see if we needed any tree work, and provided a clear, fair, and straightforward quote. This spring, the team completed the work exactly as promised — extremely clean, efficient, and professional.

The entire experience felt honest and easy, with no upselling or surprises. The quality of the cleanup and the care they took around the property really stood out.

I highly recommend Cedar Stone Tree Work LLC for anyone looking for reliable, skilled, and trustworthy tree services.

Merrick was awesome. He was very knowledgable, gave a fair quote for the work, quickly and efficiently did the work he said he would do, and left everything looking better than when he found it. Would happily use them again.

I highly recommend these two young men for tree removal! I approached them about removing a large sugar maple from my yard, and they showed up the very next day. They did an incredible job taking it down and completely cleared away all the debris. They may be young, but they are exceptionally talented, professional, and efficient at what they do. If you need tree work done right and done fast, give them a chance!

From the first cut to the clean up. Outstanding job. Highly recommend.

Merick was very responsive, reasonable priced and got the job done quickly.

We highly recommend Merick and his crew. They were prompt, professional, and completed the job, which included a thorough clean up, on a timely basis and at a reasonable rate!

Fast friendly efficient service would highly recommend to anyone needing snow removal immediate prompt timing and reasonable price ☺️ smiling from ear to ear on a scale of 1-10 I give them a 12

Cedar Stone Tree Works took down a very large oak tree for me today. Merick was amazing from start to finish. I received a quote, updates, text messages & confirmation prior to the service which was very appreciated. They came out within a couple days & I can’t say enough about how careful, safe & clean they were to remove a beast of a tree! Thank you, Merick for a job well done!

Merick and crew did a magnificent job trimming all the overgrown foliage on my property. Excellent cleanup as well. I highly recommend Cedar Stone Tree Works for any tree work.

Very professional, yet low-key business. Easy to work with and prompt. We had rows of tall arborvitae trimmed and they did an excellent job. Highly Recommended for light tree/bush trimmings.

Merrick and Orion were fantastic. Efficient, timely and a pleasure to deal with. We used them for some lawn and garden cleanup as well as hauling to the dump as we prepared a house for sale. Recommend them to everyone without any reservations. We will definitely use them any time a need arises.

Cedar Stone was the best tree service I’ve ever used. Their respectful attitude and initial numbers sold me, but after seeing their safe, efficient, thorough work and then the final result…and a great cleanup…I would recommend this crew to anyone out there needing this kind of work. Tremendous job.

Cedar Stone Tree Works did a wonderful job at our house cutting and pruning trees. Very responsive, reliable and clean. Removed all debris and left the work site clean. A pleasure to work with and highly recommend their services.

Merick is honest, reliable, professional, and a pleasure to work with. He worked with my time frame to remove two trees and cleaned up so it looked like he had never been there. I'll definitely do business with him again.

Cedar Stone Tree Works came by and took care of several large trees in our yard. It opened up the yard so much, we’re so excited. These guys are efficient, clean and fair. 10/10 would recommend!

Merick was extremely responsive to our needs. We contacted Merick as an emergency - we were looking at a tree about to fall and clip the roof of our family room and back deck. He quickly knew what he needed to do without complicating matters and pivoted to provide us with a prompt solution. Without any hesitation, he committed to helping and promptly showed up on a Sunday morning to cut the tree down in a safe manner. I was in awe to watch him expeditiously work, in no time the tree was in the ground. We are extremely satisfied and great fully for his service. We highly recommend Cedar Stone Tree Works.
