Called for lawn service and it took 4 days to come out ….. then they came and did a horrible job. Paid for lawn service and trimming and just got the grass cut. I called back and the guy I. Spoke to said the guy was at my property for an hour ….. LOL. IF IT TAKES AN HOUR TO CUT GRASS GET OUT THIS BUSINESS. THEN HE SAID HE WOULD SEND SOMEONE OUT TO CHECK ….. still waiting 5 days and still no one showed up. If anyone’s looking for lawn service. LOOK ELSEWHERE …. Please CANCEL MY SERVICE CAUSE ITS THE WORST !!!!!!!!!!!!

Chris and his crew were very professional and polite. They did a great job and if I had questions they were always receptive to whatever it was. They really spruced things up for our business and did a great job removing the arborvitae trees that obstructed the view of our business, cleaning up all the debris from the take down.

I have been using Collegiate for the last three years for maintenance – lawn mowing, fertilizing, seasonal spring and fall clean ups, and snow removal. They have always done a phenomenal job! I have hired other landscape companies in the past, including some of the big names here in Glastonbury, but Collegiate out performs in all aspects. I highly recommend them!

Ben and his team responded the same day I requested an estimate from Home Advisor. Excellent job! They cleaned all the leaves from my entire yard and moved them to my curb for town pickup. I would highly recommend and would definitely use them again.

The team a Collegiate did an outstanding job on my new back yard! My back yard used to be an ugly slope full of weeds, which hindered me from going back there. Now it is flat and level with a new lawn, two beautiful retaining walls and a walkway with steps. It was a pleasure working with Devin throughout the project. He was always happy to answer my questions and taught me about hydro-seeding; cool stuff with great results! I recommend Collegiate to anyone in search of a top quality landscape company.

Have had good experiences with Collegiate in the past, but frustrated with lack of communication, missing service and cost.

Collegiate's snow removal cost is based on inches fallen, which doesn't make sense. It's the same amount of work for 1in vs more. After the last snow fall there was an email sent out saying there would be a clean up after the original plow. I requested a re-plow after the first pass for remaining snow removal, but never heard back. My wife and I had to plow the driveway by hand after being charged $170.

Prior to the snow storm, we booked fall clean-up, paid, waited 3 weeks for a reply or schedule. Reached out to the team for an update and was told to wait. Services never rendered, now requesting a refund.

Have not had good luck with Collegiate. Looking for other service providers in the area.

Kevin Cunningham did an excellent spring cleanup for us with several other small jobs for us today and is returning to overseed where needed. He will also be doing our mowing. He is very professional. Knowledgeable, and accommodating. He cares about his customers.

I have a large front and side yard and Devin and his team worked diligently on a very cold day to remove tons of leaves in a matter of two hours. Devin was very courteous, pleasant and professional to work with and always returned my emails promptly. I highly recommend him and look forward to this company taking care of snow plowing our driveway.

I found Devin and his team to be highly professional and responsible. They took their time to clear the snow and ice from my elderly mother’s home many times during this crazy winter! I even use them for my lawn care needs at my other properties throughout the year. Their prices are reasonable and billing very easy to navigate. I never have to worry. I strongly recommend them to anyone!

I had a truly awful experience with this company. From start to finish, the work was sloppy, incomplete, and far below any reasonable standard of professionalism. I gave them multiple chances to correct the issues, and instead of owning their mistakes, they were condescending, dismissive, and completely unprofessional in every interaction.

They left my property in worse condition than they found it — and then had the nerve to send aggressive invoices and pile on late fees for a job they never completed properly. Communication was consistently rude and arrogant.

Save yourself the headache — there are far better, more competent landscapers out there. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

If I could give no stars then I would do so. I requested an estimate and received it via email. I had no idea they had even come to the house however, this was also my first time working with a landscaping company. They had some good reviews online so I trusted them. The guy came out to my house, I went outside and told him I was going to be on a work call. I wanted to show him ahead of time that I had hydrangea bushes planted on the tree line of my yard - all the way around the perimeter. I said do not touch these or cut them down. He told me, "I've got this." I said so please don't touch the hydrangeas - showing him where they were. He said no problem. I went outside after my call and all but two (the two in the front flower beds) were cut down. He had mowed over all of them. I immediately called Collegiate Landscaping and I was told that the person who came out to my property couldn't have done what he did because he has been mowing lawns for 16 years. I again, explained what happened. This back and forth conversation continued. Devin said he would come out so I could show him what happened. He asked if he should text me when he arrived and I said yes. I have little dogs that like to bark as well. I received a text the following morning that he would be at my home shortly. Then, a while later I received a text saying he had been to the property and didn't see any evidence of hydrangeas. He asked if I could send him a picture. Now, he was supposed to have me show him when he arrived. There was never any contact. He also told me he walked all around my property - apparently while I was inside. There was no evidence of him ever being at my property that morning. I told him if he had questions and he was at my property that was the time to ask but since I know he wasn't there and the fact that his guy mowed over my plants, it makes sense why no one would be able to see them.

Since he asked for a picture, I sent him one of what they did look like based on one of the ones that still existed and the space where one of the other plants were. I was then told that if I could show them what was destroyed they would replace them. It's hard to show them something that isn't there anymore. I told them how much the total was for the plants they destroyed since I have the invoice and they said they would replace it. When I told them what the price was they said they won't accept the fact that I had these planted last year as proof and won't accept the invoice.

They offered to come out again when they knew I called them out on the fact that they lied about coming to my house the first time.

Bottom line - don't work with Collegiate unless you want your lawn destroyed.
