I am very pleased with the replacement central A/C system that I purchased from Stafford Mechanical.
Greg Cyr was a delight. After vising my home, he promptly provided me with a written proposal. When I had questions, he quickly responded with answers.
After accepting the proposal, Greg worked with me to set an installation date that fit into my schedule.
On the day of the installation, Greg and his technicians, Elijah and Frank, arrived on time. They entered my home with clean tarps to protect my carpeting, which they put down before themselves as they proceeded.
The technicians went right to work disassembling my old system, and carting the parts removed to their vehicles.
They stayed right on task throughout the day, installing the new A/C system in the attic and outside, and a new thermostat. (They were so intent about their work that my wife remarked that when they walked they were almost running.) The outside portion of the installation included the construction of a new mounting pad for the condenser.
By 3:45 PM, a new system was in place and running, the new thermostat's ability to control both the A/C and my boiler verified, A/C outlet flows and temperatures verified, all debris and tarps removed, and the interior area vacuumed.
The following day, Greg made all the necessary warranty product registrations, and forwarded the acknowledgements to me for my records.
I would unhesitatingly recommend Stafford Mechanical to provide a good product at a reasonable price, which is installed in a professional manner by competent technicians.

SMS was great. AC went out in the middle of the night and they sent Wyatt out first thing when I called. He did a great job of diagnosing the problem, explaining it to me and taking care of the issues. All within an hour or so. Great guy, and I had AC back - not unimportant on a 94 degree day

Had a very positive experience with Stafford Mechanical. They managed to get us in quickly when our central air broke. When we later determined that replacing our system was the best option for us, they quoted us for multiple systems and explained the benefits of each. The installers, Frank, and Anthony, were wonderful. Both were professional and knowledgeable. Explained everything that we thought to ask, and were just a pleasure to work with. We will definitely be working with this company again in the future.

Had the best experience with this company! From Greg coming out to quote and patiently waiting for our project to get completed, and offering referrals every step of the way! To his team that came in- the 2 gentleman Ryan, and Rick who were so professional-the entire process was seamless! They treated my home with the upmost respect- booties in hand at the door, checking in with me every step of the way until completion. They explained the unit at length and to my understanding. This feels like a mom and pop business with full transparency every step of the way. It's hard to believe companies like this still exist!

Great work, very clean install, I am very happy with my new high efficiency furnace and AC. Mike Lynch was very helpful with the setup and navigating the few hurdles we had on my end in the beginning. Elijah, and Anthony were great and very helpful every step of the way. They answered all questions and clearly communicated their plan along the way when they were on site performing the install.

Matthew from Stafford mechanical arrived when they said he would. He explained what services were being done for the day and how long it would take. He was professional.

My service tech, Bill did a GREAT job! Was very thorough in looking over ALL parts of the furnace. He even checked and adjusted the outside regulator. He explained everything to me with patience and clarity. He was very well prepared and worked efficiently. I would definitely call for his help again.

We could not be more pleased with our experience. We needed a new boiler for our antique house. Several other companies never even responded to our inquiries and some companies no longer work on steam heat. Stafford Mechanical responded promptly and came right out for an estimate. It was clear that they were experienced and knowledgeable, and just nice guys! They did a beautiful job, were respectful of our home, and left that area of the basement cleaner than they found it. It's so nice to hear our new heater kick on with a quiet human. The estimate was accurate. Highly recommended.

We had the best experience in a very long-time choosing Stafford Mechanical to install our Carrier central air conditioning system. Mike Lynch was prompt in answering our questions, accommodating the scheduling of a standby generator and electrical work in the same week. Elija and AJ who installed our system, were top-shelf technicians that not only spent a very long (Friday) day at our home, but were friendly, incredibly considerate and were everything you would want a team to be.

Bill was incredibly patient, hardworking, and thorough. He quickly diagnosed the issue, clearly explained every step, and worked tirelessly to restore our A/C just in time for the upcoming heat wave. It was an overall great experience from start to finish. Professional, knowledgeable, and kind—couldn’t ask for better service. Two thumbs up!

I had stafford mechanical services come out for a diagnosis and was quoted $289 to come out to inspect and diagnose what was wrong with my mini split system. I said that was fine and they sent a tech out that day at 3pm. The technician diagnosed the issue and had completed his inspection by 4:15pm. I was then handed a bill for $484 for an inspection so I called to dispute this error since you have to inspect a system to diagnose it. They told me they would look into it and call me back. One week went by I had left a voicemail and verbal messages with melody and Jessica only to hear no response. So I reached out one more time and was told that the additional charge was because the work was outside of normal business hours, which was proven to be incorrect since I received an invoice for completed work via email at 4:21pm. They then informed me the reason for the additional fee is because I am fixing the unit myself. BEWARE when hiring this company the quotes for work are not accurate and they might charge you additional if you decided to fix or repair your issue yourself. If you get an inaccurate bill or get over billed you are unlikely to get a reasonable resolution or response from this company.

We thought very highly of the people who did the work (removal of our old a/c system and replacement with a new one). They were polite, friendly, helpful, and willing to answer questions and give explanations. They tried to have as little impact on our daily lives as possible, and cleaned up after their work very well. We were impressed with how hard they worked (despite extremely hot days), for how long they worked each day, and by how nice they were. On the day the installation itself was finished, they stayed until well after 5 p.m. to make sure everything was running properly.

Just had a new furnace and A/C compressor installed by Stafford Mechanical. Excellent service all around from Rich down to the Technicians who did the work. Fast, friendly, professional and competitive. I would highly recommend. I will be using them for future needs.

I have lived in my home for 32 years and have had several HVAC Companies doing various jobs but no one has ever matched the service I got recently on the replacement of my Carrier AC Unit. The crew was friendly, knowledgeable and highly professional. They deliver 5-star workmanship and their attention to detail made the system the most efficient it can be. I got several bids and Stafford Mechanical had the lowest saving our family lots of money. My only regret is that I didn't discover them sooner! I highly recommend them.
