My husband and I were very disappointed in their service. When we called we were very specific in needing a deep cleaning of the whole house to to moving. They didn’t listen to our request and never did a deep clean. They also didn’t finish the whole house which they had to return the next day but we got charged for that as well. When they left we still had to clean walls, clean cabinets where they must have only wiped quickly, clean inside the fridge-washer & dryer- some windows.

I wouldn’t recommend this company if you are looking for a deep clean or intense clean for your home. They did simple cleaning where in reality I could have done if I would have known that because I still had to clean areas that they should have cleaned.

Very disappointed and would not recommend it to anyone (unless you need a very simple clean up).

I was given an estimate for a deep clean service, based on 2 hours and 15 minutes on my site. I asked if they could arrive after 11 AM. When 1 PM arrived, I phoned in to check that they were coming. I did not receive any messages prior to the day of hire. At 1 PM I was told they would arrive at 2:30. They did not. I was getting upset as the household was on hold waiting for them to arrive. When I called the second time, I was told they were stuck in traffic and would arrive at 3. I spoke with three different managerial levels. At some point, I was offered a $50 discount for the inconvenience. At 3:30 they arrived. The team worked hard and cleaned pretty well, stairs could have been vacuumed better, they left by 5 pm. By my clock, that is 1.5 hours. So. Estimate was $438 + tax for 2.25 hours. Discount offered was $50. I was billed $412. Somehow the math seems off to me if the $50 discount was applied to their 1.5 hour visit. They did a professional job, but cost and communication was disappointing. I would have tipped the workers actually, but I could not leave to get cash, as I had no clue when they would arrive.

Update: The Maids called to "make things right" a week or so ago. They agree they overcharged me, esp. w their offer of $50 off. I still have not heard back. I'm not a math genius but seems to me fair price w discount would be about $242 + tax, based on 1.5 hours of on site service. Left hanging.

The team at The Maids, specifically Team 3, is absolutely incredible. They pay attention to every little detail and leave no stone unturned. We have been utilizing their services for a few months now, and without a doubt, they are the best at what they do.

They may be more expensive than other services, but they are FAST and THOROUGH. A team of 4 showed up on time, with everything they needed and deployed like a military operation. We have used The Maids monthly for many years now, and they never cease to provide topnotch service. The staff are so friendly and HARD working! To come home after they have been here is like stepping into a topnotch hotel... how do they take all our clutter and organize it so wonderfully and sparkling clean? They obviously care about each customer... I can't say enough! Also, customer service works with us wonderfully to work around our schedule if something comes up. They feel like family!!

Update as of August 2023: my husband unexpectedly became quite ill ... life turned upside down, had to cancel a session of cleaning not knowing new logistics etc., Maids were so understanding and compassionate. They came yesterday as we now have a schedule .. and I KNOW they went over the top, knowing our situation... and I just want to hug them.

Update September 2024! He's still fighting a rough battle... lots of medical things in the way... the Maids work around it all and it's like a fresh new start every time they work their magic! Caregiver stress is real... and they are the best self care out there!

The Maids’ Blue NY02 team led by Azucena just left my apartment after my first cleaning with the company. I could not be happier! They were on time, professional, friendly and got right to work.
