John and his crew did an EXCELLENT job of installing (replacing) attic stairs. The crew was quick and efficient, and the cost was very reasonable. After the job all the debris was picked up and the job site looked better than it did when they got to my home! The attention to detail and level of excellence in workmanship was stellar. HIGHLY RECOMMEND VLR Homes for any job involving carpentry and paint / finishing.

Great experience, I’m already working on scheduling them to come back out and do more work for me. Tore my old roof off, took down 2 chimneys, replaced damage wood underneath, and put new architectural shingles on in a matter of hours!!! I went with VLR because they communicated the best out of all the companies I got quotes from and Francisco went out of his way to bring samples by after work hours on New Year’s Eve.

We had a very good experience with VLR Homes. They have completed 2 separate jobs for us, the first one was replacing the siding on our dormers a few years ago, and it was managed very well. We were happy with our results and the price.

Because of that experience, we recently contacted John at VLR to give a quote on replacing our 23 year old roof. He was timely in answering our call, making an appointment, and was very helpful in providing different samples to make our color choice. He explained the difference in brands, and returned another time to bring the actual shingles as I requested to see the material. He explained the procedure and the expected time frame to complete the work. He was able to be respectful of our time frame to have the work done.
The men that worked on our job were respectful, diligent and worked long hours to complete our job, even in the face of a quick pop up storm, they were able to cover the area successfully. While it required a few additional days due to the weather, our roof is large and steep, they did a very good job and we are more than pleased with the outcome. I can easily recommend this company if you need a roof or other exterior home repairs. I have attached Before & After photos, this new roof is GAF Timberline HDZ shingles in color Charcoal, I love the updated look.

We hired VLR Homes to build a deck, replacing old, steep stairs off the house. Working with them is very easy with timely responses to e-mails and texts. The bidding and estimates are straightforward and reasonably priced. The crew is knowledgeable and good attention to detail. They were responsive to inputs and modifications and always looking to ensure the design and end result was exactly how I wanted it. One of the better contractors I've worked with, and will definitely hire them again for my future remodel and other projects. Highly recommend.

Really nice to find a contractor willing to go the extra mile and do it with integrity. They came highly recommended to me by a friend and I completely agree. Thanks so much for giving contractors a GOOD name! We need more of you out there.

Johnny Walker Construction built our 2-level deck (with custom stairs, skirting and gate) and repaired some foundation issues we had. He and his crew did quality work for a reasonable price and he answered our multiple “last minute” questions to accommodate some changes we wanted to make. We love our beautiful deck and will definitely use/ recommend his company in the future!!! Thanks Bubba!!!

Versatile handyman, quality work. I’ve used him several times for different projects. He has replaced water damaged boards, found source of moisture in a window frame, repaired roof, adjusted a door that would not shut properly and repaired drywall. Highly recommend.

This contractor showed up to work when he said he would, and he didn’t change his price for a job in the middle of a job. He was very particular about the quality of work that he did, and I’m very particular about it too. I would definitely recommend him and use his company again—if we could agree on a good/reasonable price for a new project. He stands behind his work, and will make sure it is done right.

I highly recommend Good Day General Services. Vincent showed up at my house to patch a hole in the wall from a broken pipe. He did a great job, you cannot even tell there was a hole. He filled the hole quickly, painted the area and cleaned up after he was done. He made sure i was satisfied with the work before he left and i will definatly be hiring him again for future projects.

My husband and I hired Good Day General Services to clean out our gutters and remove some heavy railroad ties we had in our back yard. These two chores were too much for us to take care of and neither of us want to get up on ladders anymore. The guys did a great job cleaning and making everything look like new before they left.
