These guys came out to help with some water damage. The attic ac was leaking on to some of the closets in our home. They came in and explained everything they would be doing. Came back to check in it after they were done. Really liked working with Manny and his co worker who for the life of me can’t remember his name. He was great at explaining the process. And I had them look at another spot that they ended up also taking care of. All and all they we were happy with their service. Thank you

During the rainy season, my family and I experienced a leaky roof which ended up damaging the walls and ceilings of our dining room. Tri-tech restoration was quick to come out and mitigate the damages that were a result of the leak. Their work was clean and organized. They even did all the repairs afterwards. Manny, Raffi, and their whole crew were extremely helpful throughout the whole process and communication was great! I cannot recommend them enough.

Our commercial property sustained major damages due to a tree falling on the roof. Tri-tech restoration came out to assess the damages and handled the job A-Z. They were in consistent communication with the insurance and got the plans and permits completed as quickly as possible. Their transparency and helpfulness made the most stressful situation much better. I will definitely be using them again.

Avoid Tri Tech Restoration – A Nightmare Experience

If I could give zero stars, I would. Tri Tech Restoration was recommended by State Farm after a water leak in our home, and it was one of the worst experiences we have ever had with a contractor. What was initially supposed to be a six-week project turned into nearly four months of delays, mismanagement, and poor communication—forcing my family to stay in a hotel far longer than anticipated.

The issues were endless:

Delays & Poor Communication – We frequently went days or even weeks without updates, left in the dark about progress and timelines. Calls and emails were often ignored.
Project Manager Was Absent – Our assigned project manager, Javier, was nowhere to be found throughout the entire process. After visiting our home at the very beginning, he completely disappeared and only resurfaced at the very end—only after we escalated our concerns to his leadership team. There was no oversight, no accountability, and no effort to ensure the project was running smoothly.
Ineffective Project Coordinator – Our assigned project coordinator, Angela, was also unhelpful and frequently miscommunicated with her own team. We were often left without answers and at the mercy of their team’s poor organization. Instead of acting as a reliable point of contact, she contributed to the overall confusion and lack of transparency.
Subpar Workmanship – After months of waiting, the final work was sloppy at best. We were left with a crooked sink, patchy paint, scuffed and imperfect flooring, and leftover materials cluttering our space. Several aspects of the job had to be redone due to poor quality.
No Accountability – Despite their mismanagement and the unnecessary hardship they caused my family, they have been relentless in demanding payment while we wait on reimbursements from State Farm.
It is especially disappointing given that Tri Tech Restoration was a recommended contractor from State Farm. We entered this process with high expectations, believing we would receive professional service, but instead, we were left severely disappointed.

I strongly caution anyone considering Tri Tech Restoration. Their lack of professionalism, poor quality of work, and failure to communicate made an already stressful situation significantly worse. If you value your time, money, and peace of mind, look elsewhere.

After losing our home to a wildfire, we were devastated, obviously overwhelmed and unsure on how and where to begin. And we are incredibly grateful that we chose Tri Tech!

From the very beginning, they approached our situation with empathy, patience, and professionalism. They didn’t just rebuild a house, they helped us rebuild our lives!
Their team walked us through every step of the process, from insurance paperwork to design decisions and final construction. Michael and his team were always responsive, honest, and clear in their communication.

The quality of their work is fantastic. Our new home is not only beautiful, but built with attention to safety and long-term resilience in mind. We discussed everything together, they took the time to understand our tastes, and sourced the perfect materials ( and I am very picky in terms of color and details!)

Beyond the technical work, what really stood out was the emotional support and understanding they showed during one of the hardest times of our lives, and that’s something we’ll never forget.

We wholeheartedly recommend Tri Tech to anyone in need of a builder, especially those facing the unique challenges of recovery after disaster.

EDIT: I don't recall the exact dates, but the issues described occurred over the months leading up to this review, and the experience itself is unchanged.

My insurance company recommended Tri-Tech, and hiring them has been one of the worst experiences I've ever had with any contractor. If you're reading this, I would strongly encourage you to look elsewhere.

I contacted them approximately a few months before posting this review for a very small repair project, and everything from the first phone call was a problem. It started with the receptionist, who my insurance company had difficulty reaching. Approximately weeks would pass with no returned calls, and the only way anything moved forward was when I personally called to chase updates.

After approximately weeks of delays, Carlos was finally sent out to inspect the damage. During that visit, they cut a hole in my wall, found mold, and then left the wall completely open, exposing the area without any covering or containment. They stated they "couldn't touch it," but made no effort to cover the opening -- not even with plastic sheeting.

For approximately the next few weeks, that hole remained open while the original sewage leak continued affecting the wall cavity. I was repeatedly told nothing could be done until mold confirmation came back, which meant the situation remained unresolved for weeks.

It took approximately a few months just to complete mitigation. Even after that, multiple areas were left wet, and I ultimately finished drying them myself by setting up a tent and running my own dehumidifier.

Once mitigation was finally complete, I was told Jacob would come out to provide a repair estimate. That took approximately another few weeks. He indicated I would receive the estimate by the end of the week; it took approximately another few. I signed and returned it immediately.

I was then told someone would come out that week for a repair walkthrough. Instead, I waited approximately another few weeks with no communication until I called again. Someone eventually arrived, reviewed the plan, and told me a crew would be out within a week to start demo. Approximately a few more weeks passed with no action.

When I contacted Tri-Tech again, I was told they were declining the project because it was "not profitable."

During an earlier visit, Carlos suggested proceeding with repairs in a way that raised concerns for me about permits. When he realized he was on camera, he became visibly uncomfortable and changed the subject.

Despite all the delays, mistakes, and additional issues, I still attempted to resolve things professionally. I contacted the owner, Amy, explained what had happened, and asked whether there could be any consideration or adjustment given the approximate months of problems. I was told I had three days to pay or they would place a lien on my home.

I paid, and I am writing this review to share my experience.

Tri-Tech handled only part of the work, dragged the process out for approximately months, left my home in worse condition, walked away from the actual repair work, and threatened a lien when I questioned their performance. I would not use them again and would not recommend them.

Additional note in response to the employee comment:
Nothing about this service was "10/10." I was required to sign a "satisfactory" form before work began, and when I recently called to speak with a representative I was disconnected mid-call.

This was, in my experience, a poorly handled project from start to finish.

I have been waiting for my kitchen to be completed and that hasn't happened since 2024! Bad communication with management including Finance. I've been ignored for continued issued that should be under warranty. Also, Tri-Tech brought their own plumber (Gabin Plumbing from Pacoima) the work done has been giving me problems just a year after. He used used parts and now the other "new" parts are leaking again.

I don't recommend this company nor the plumber. If you have flood issues, contact your insurance and deal with them directly and cash out. Hire your own people.
Warehouse Manage brought back boxes from their storage with mini roaches. I text him and he literally lied telling me that they had to fumigate the entire storage because we had roaches and invaded their storage facility in Burbank. Incredible that was an insult that I can't forgive.

Overall this company is a failure and will contact the next dept to complete my complaint.

I was forced to sign to the contract without reading it because they saw how worried I was for my enior parents especially my mom whom had surgery the day of the flood and has lung cancer. I felt vulnerable and signed. Also, was told that it was best to sign the contract and deal with them because us "latinos" are basically dumb to handle this sort of problem. Trust me, my insurance agent was the best and we could've had an excellent relationship without Tri Tech.
We were obligated to sign the review at the end to receive our 5 year warranty. All lies except my message. The person in charge of the job should drive by every so often to check the work done.

David the warehouse Manager insulted us by saying we had roaches. Unprofessional and because we no longer needed their services he thought it was OK to talk crap via text.

Theron from Finance at first was pretending to be nice. At the end he showed his true colors until I made him to talk to our insurance rep and he agreed to the amount owed.

Hope this helps and will continue to bug them until my kitchen is done and the plumbing!!!!

I know I'm going to receive a reply from Tri-Tech stating that I was happy but again, NO I WAS NOT!!! I WAS TOLD TO SIGN TO RECEIVE MY WARRANTY.

And this will continue until my house is done. Too bad I can't add pictures.

Humberto and crew are amazing they were originally coming on Saturday to do work on the front of my house but his office called and asked if was OK for them to come on Friday and worked all day Friday and Saturday. They got to my house around 8am and jumped right in to work . They did amazing work very detailed in everything. I will recommend them to anyone who is looking for work done . Great work ethics. His guys are hard working.

Segelman Shaw was great! They gave me a fantastic price on my siding and did a phenomenal job. My house looks gorgeous! Very professional and very highly skilled. I love these guys!

I had a fire that damaged the exterior of my house. It resulted all the front siding needing replacement. Segelman Shaw did a fantastic job in doing the work, and handling the insurance claim. After the work was done, there was no trace of trash or debris left behind. Segelman Shaw even sent around a foreman after the work was completed to make sure that all things were done correctly and button up any loose ends. I will call Segelman Shaw again without hesitation when I need roofing, siding, window or gutter work again. Thank you!
