Mark and his whole team did an amazing job. Fast, efficient and easy to work with. Great attention to detail from the design to finished product.
-
Great company! Very happy with our new pool and spa. These guys started our pool on August 19th and it was finished on September 12th. Amazing! Highly recommend people, you won’t be disappointed.
-
Have a friend in the Gold Canyon area who had this outfit install a pool, after several leaks they fixed their mistakes, and finally repaired. Recently another leak occurred by the water feature and they refuse to fix it. I thought about using them, but after that fiasco, no way. They are slow to get back to you when problems occur, maybe it was just a bad stretch of being too busy, but that's on them.

I have never been so Happy about a Pool. This is the third pool I have built and by far the Best. The Customer Service was off the top and from start to finish the process flowed. I went from dirt to pool in 27 days. I highly recommend No Limit Pools & Spas. You WILL NOT be disappointed. Thank you for the Great Job!!!

Had our pool built nearly 3 years ago and still love it!! Impressed by the speed No Limit came out to do a warranty repair (minor repair needed in a few tiles due to expansive soil.) Highly recommend building a pool with No Limit!

We were looking around for a pool and had several companies supply us with quotes. We put the pool process on hold. We saw an advertisement for No Limit Pool & Spas in the booklet of adds in the mail. We called the company and spoke with Marc. He came out and we told him what all we wanted. Marc came out and explained the quote and the products that his company offers. Which I really liked as everyone else sent us an emailed quote and the break down which made no sense to me as their product was not explained. Just pretty much a bill and tell me when can they start. We were explained in person the breakdown of the quote when it was available. We then said we will be in contact and there was no pressure and no daily calls/emails asking for our decision. We then called and stated we were ready to pursue with his company. We had a few changes in the quote and there was no hassle to try and upsell and persuade us to stay with the original quote.
We were then quoted a 4-6 week build time. That following Monday, the pool was outlined in our back yard and we were pending the license from the city. That Thursday the hole was dug. Every day during the week there was someone at our house working on the pool. There were no days in between that someone wasn’t there to do something to the pool. From the day the hole was dug to the day we were swimming was less than 3 weeks. Due to them having someone out there everyday verses several days in between with no one there is why they could complete in such a timely matter. I watched the process and there were no shortcuts being taken. His crew took their time and did it correctly the first time. The crew was very friendly and said hello every morning when I saw them and never made a mess of things. They did what they were there to do daily and cleaned up for the next piece of the pool to be completed. We did already have landscaping in the back yard and they moved and replaced what they could. I never had to question anything out of the normal pool process. Our block wall was only down for a day which I loved as I wasn’t fond of having an opening to our backyard for the full process like I’ve seen others do. Everything daily met our expectations. After final inspection for all of our outside doors, which was done on a Friday, they were there on Saturday doing the pebble (which was very interesting to watch) and water was added and filled by Sunday night. Monday they came and added the chemicals and we were swimming that night.
After the water was added and chemicals put in, Marc came over and explained everything that we needed to know about how the pool system works and stayed to make sure that we understood. It’s nice to actually work with the owner of the company and not sales people who come and go and need training. It’s their product that they use everyday and actually know the in’s and out’s. Marc kept us posted on the whole process and we knew everything that was going on. I felt like this was not just a business he was running, it is his passion and takes pride in his work and his crew. We are so happy with our decision to go with this company and would use them over and over again. -
Our backyard oasis turned out way beyond our expectations! We have had so many compliments! Granted, we were fairly firm with our pool/spa size/layout, water feature, water line tile, ledgestone, PebbleTec choices, travertine and barbeque island. Marc was flexible on this! As promised, from dig to water, less than four weeks! Great workmanship and professionalism on the part of his staff. Follow up has been amAZing. Back everything they do! A special thanks to Heath! We highly recommend No Limit!!!

My entire experience from start to finish with the entire No Limit team was professional, honest and knowledgable. My pool turned out exactly as I had always dreamed and done so on time and on budget. My neighbor went with a competitor that started sooner and finished well after our pool. I couldn't recommend No Limit any more if you want it done right the first time.

Marc Ballard, owner of No Limit Pools, and his team build stunning pools. They are professional, thorough, respectful, helpful and go above and beyond. To say they know what it means to delight their customers is an understatement. The details, thought process and care they put into their work is evident from start to finish. Pride of craftsmanship is apparent and it means love and enjoyment of your backyard as a homeowner. We look out our windows, sit on our patio and float in our pool with smiles on our faces because we know and see we made the right choice by selecting No Limit Pools.

Mark the owner of No limit, were very considerate and kind in helping me taking care of a pool leak. Though the pool was out of warrant for an year, he responded well l, owned up to a pool he built, and throughout the repair process kept track of things and sent the right people at right time to handle the job, as though it was all still in warranty. Not once I felt he and his team were taking advantage of my limited knowledge in the subject.
Would work with Mark/No limit again.
Thank you Mark. -
No Limit Pools has exceeded our expectations in every way! They are professional in their planning, construction, and customer service. They were able to take our general ideas and create our perfect pool. The process was thoroughly explained, extremely fast, high quality, and low stress for us. We recommend No Limit Pools to any family that wants to transform their backyard into a dream!

The No Limit Team did an amazing job on our pool and our entire backyard. They finished everything within 30 days, their management team and staff are extremely professional and on task and they do a great job following up every week with their maintenance program. I highly recommend Marc, Heath and the rest of the team.

I wanted to share my experience with No Limit Pools to assure anyone looking to build a pool or spa, that deciding to break ground with them will not be a mistake. Not only are they knowledgeable experts, but they are honest, quick and hassle free. You will not have to call them several times hoping they come start work or worrying if they'll be back to finish the job. I dealt with the company all on my own, my husband left the entire project up to me.
Marc Ballard was referred to me from a friend. Marc happened to also be my neighbor. He quickly responded to my call and talked me through the process. I had previously met with another pool builder and I wasn't sold. After talking with Marc he made suggestions to me that the other builder had not, such as going with travertine instead of pool decking, because of the longevity and cooler properties of the stone. Pool decking constantly cracks and gets hotter. the price was comparable and seemed the better choice. Esthetically it looks better as well. Also, he told me they only design with pebble tec, which lasts for years. The other company I met with was going to have me use a white plaster that would only last a few years.
He responded to all my texts and emails promptly no matter what time of day. When I accidentally messed up a meeting time, he called me and said he would wait the twenty minutes for me to arrive.
A very nice designer named Dave met with me and showed me designs on his lap top so I could visually see from all angles. He gave me helpful suggestions and designed it exactly how I envisioned. I built my pool around my needs to want a rectangular contemporary lap pool with a large baja step at the entrance for my three year old to play and another shorter baja step at the other end for her to swim from one end to the other. He assured me that I could always add and change things before they ordered supplies.
When it came time to order the pebble and tile and nice gentleman named Heath, was able to help me choose the perfect pebble with beautiful iridescent pieces of stone that sparkle in the sun. I wanted a mosaic tile and he was able to help find me the perfect color pattern to match the pebble.
Everything took three weeks after they got the permit. Amazingly, the excavator was there before the hoilday, so I would have to wait till after the long weekend.
I know my neighbors that went with other pool companies waited months for theirs to be finished. My family and I were able to enjoy the pool all summer.
I wanted to wait to write my review till after the monsoon season had started so I could rate their in-floor cleaning. I was pleasantly surprised at how well it cleans. It was the best investment in the pool design.
I want to thank Marc, Dave, and, Heath for such an amazing job on the pool and stress free experience. My body as never been in better shape from all the swimming. There is nothing more relaxing than swimming under the stars at night either.

My wife and I discussed building a pool with 3 other builders before we decided to go with No Limit Pools. Our decision came down to several key reasons, including lots of great reviews across Facebook, Google+, the BBB and other various sources, but ultimately came down to dealing with Marc and the responsiveness of the company.
I'll admit, we were really nervous at first. I mean, who wouldn't be spending this much money and trusting a company to follow through with whom you hadn't much experience with before?
All those fears were laid to rest quickly. Marc said our pool would be done in about 3 - 4 weeks. I snickered at first, but when the ground breaking began, it didn't stop. This was a major project, but was the least stressful thing I've ever been involved in. Marc was out almost everyday at the job making sure everything was completed properly for the day.
Marc would explain each leg of the project, then we'd see that executed as he had stated.
All in all, we went from ground breaking to swim trunks in 3.5 weeks. There were a few things that needed buttoned up that Marc and Jimmy were able to get squared away for us. No Limit Pools went above and beyond with the pool and the features we received.
Now we have our landscaping completed and really got to enjoy the pool for the last couple of months before the cooler weather kicked in. Now we really can't wait for the weather to kick up again!
Thanks Marc and the No Limit Pool team! :-) -
To have a pool of our own was a dream of ours for over 10 years now, but finding the right company was like choosing the right pediatrician for your child.
We had heard of various not-so-great experiences with other major pool building companies, and were a bit hesitant in seeking out their service in building one for us. This is a huge investment for us, or for anyone in that matter, and we wanted the right company for this project. It wasn’t until we saw a sign for “No Limits” pools and spas in the front yard of a family member’s property that reignited the desire to have a pool of our own.
After asking various questions on the build process, the experience, and what kind of warranties were offered, we knew that No Limits would be the best fit us. They even have an A+ rating with the BBB.
From the design, excavation, installation of the plumbing, electrical, shot-crete, travertine, and interior materials for the pool, the quoted lead time on the pool build was 4-6 weeks from the day the permits were received. No Limits held true to this. If there was anything wrong, No Limits resolved those issues immediately. As a bonus, they also monitor and take care of the pool for an additional 30 days after build, which is extremely helpful for those who don’t know much about taking care of pools (like us).
I just wanted to say “thank you!” to Marc, Heath, Dave and team for patiently walking us through this process and for building us the pool of our dreams that exceeds our expectations. We know we made the right choice and look forward for the memories ahead. -
Marc from No Limits Pool just completed our new pool and we couldn't be happier with the results. The quoted time for completion was 4-6 weeks and our pool was completed in just under 4 weeks. Marc met all scheduling promises and kept us well informed of next steps. He and his crew completed this project with very little disruption to our normal lives as me and my wife work out of our home. They also kept the construction debris to a minimum and as a result our home did not have that "under construction" look to it. As a result of our experience we highly recommend No Limit Pools.

Our pool ground breaking occurred in late January 2022 and today (March) we are enjoying our heated pool!!
It took us about 6 months to select a pool builder. This project was a big spend for us.
What was important to us was to have a sense that my business was important to the company I selected. Did they show up when promised? Did they allow me to ask basic questions without being made to feel dumb? Were they as excited about my project as I was? And most importantly was there honesty in the process?
We selected NoLimit Pools because of the sales experience. Any sales experience is a leap of faith and we continued to have those positive affirmations and experiences with Dylan, Heath and Mark throughout the build process.
What makes this company different is they minimize contractors and use their own employees for the project. Each person that we interacted with were friendly, positive and respectful of our time and property. And I loved seeing a female out tiling my pool! She rocked!
If I had to go through this process again with NoLimit Pools, I would. -
Marc and his team were amazing with our pool renovation. We added a heater - hot tub - new pebbletec and a natural rock waterfall. From start to finish they were quick - expert and everything turned out better than expected. Quote time was 6 weeks to completion and in 3 weeks to the day we were filling our new beautiful oasis with water. Highly recommend this team to make your pool dreams come true!

After finally deciding that we wanted to do a swimming pool in our backyard, we set out on trying to find the right pool builder. As most of those who have had pools built know, this is no easy task. The last pool we put in was a builder special – we were incentivized to go with a mainstream pool builder. We were just happy to get one with the house we built and we were not very informed on the pool process. It was later on we noticed the defects and problems that came with the cookie cutter builder special.
With our adventure into another pool, we wanted to be more careful. We visited with another pool builder and actually had a signed deposit. After seeing their bid constantly getting increased because they “forgot” something or needed to add something, we decided to get a second option. I am so glad that I found No Limit Pools. After reading their testimonials on their website, I inquired if Marc could meet us for an estimate. As I work outside of Phoenix during the week, the only day I was available was Saturday. Marc went out of his way, on his day off, to ensure we met with someone and was able to get a bid. His bid came in at around the same price as the other pool company, but with many extra features and better equipment. He even had 3D Pool imaging showing the pool in the backyard!
During the pool building process with No Limit Pools, I was amazed at the speed at which the build was progressing. Each day, there was someone there to continue the building process. This was way more thorough and faster than the last pool we had with the builder. In fact, I was so impressed, that halfway through the pool bid, I asked for a bid for pavers, firepit, and pergola in addition to my pool. I guess I shouldn’t be surprised, but the cost of this phase two project was less than others I had received bids for and we went forward with that phase at the same time as the pool.
From start of dig to the completion, No Limit Pools has been fantastic to work with. Marc is super responsive to texts, phone calls, and emails and guides you along the process. I will definitely be telling everyone that No Limit Pools prides itself on meeting and exceeding your expectations and does quality workmanship along the way. If we didn’t go out of town for a week, our pool would have been completed in only 4 weeks!

Bryan and Kim Baker -
I recently completed a project with No Limit Pools and the following summarizes my experience building
a pool with them. I purchased a “new construction” residence in a master planned community in Mesa,
Arizona. The developer “partnered” with a well-known Valley pool builder and that seemed like the way
to go until I began to do my research. There were mixed reviews not only relating to the finished
products, but the way in which the pool builder communicated, scheduled, and held to their
commitments. I am a professional construction manager myself and I saw this as a huge warning flag. I
looked into some of the other “majors” in the market and over and over again the same issues were
being raised. I began to question who, if anyone, I was going to be able to work with to get this project
done. This decision was made more critical because I would not be able to be on site at any time during
the build.
I came across No Limit Pools while researching pool builders on the internet. What immediately caught
my attention was the lack of any bad reviews or outstanding complaints with the BBB or Arizona
Registrar of Contractors. I called Marc to set up an appointment. He met me at the raw lot on a day
that I was in town for a meeting with the developer. I had painted out the location of the back walls and
patio for the proposed residence so he could see the amount of room we had available to work with.
We had a discussion of wants and needs and set about to painting out an outline of the proposed
pool/spa on the dirt. (Keep in mind your pool will look bigger when it is dug than it does painted out on
the ground.) A few days later, Marc emailed a rendering of the proposed pool. We discussed some
changes and he provided a second rendering. Time went by (we had to wait for the residence to be
completed and close on the deal before he could start the build) and we talked back and forth over the
phone a few times about refining this detail and that. Never was there any pressure to “sign now or lose
the deal” or “get us a deposit to get you into the build queue” or any of the other builders’ high pressure
ploys to get you committed. The week we closed on the property, I had Marc back out to the site one
final time. I had staked the pool out exactly as I wanted it and we discussed the final design, layout, and
finishes. These were incorporated into the contract and we signed the deal and turned over the deposit.
I left that week with Marc’s assurance “don’t worry, we’ve got this”. I did not return to Arizona until the
pool was filled and running.
This was the first pool build I have been involved in and I have to say, I have no real regrets with the
outcome. Everything is the done the way we wanted it, the workmanship is professional, the equipment
is appropriately sized and performs flawlessly. Heath came by and went over the equipment operation,
programmed the automation, and we discussed the few “punch list” items they would be taking care of.
This is exactly how it should be done.
As a construction professional, I would never recommend a person drop “luxury car” money on a project
when they couldn’t be present during the build. But my circumstances required that this was the way I
had to do this and I can’t imagine a better company to leave the task to than Marc Ballard and No Limit
Pools.
