Aaron Chavez carved an owl into what was left of a ponderosa we had removed. It looks amazing! He's a true craftsman and artist who was such a joy to work with. He listened carefully, while bringing his own artistry and imagination to make a sculpture come alive. We love the way he continues to innovate and the way he uses the owl's body language to make them come alive. The big owl stands guard looking over her shoulder at our street corner, while two baby owls nestle in their little nooks below her. We love his work! And he's such a great person that we felt fortunate to spend time with him.

Aaron and Bing are great guys with plenty of talent and much enthusiasm. Aaron's passion is flowing right into his carvings!! They carved a huge majestic owl and 2 smaller ones into one stump and a 12' tall bear on another. We are delighted with them!! It was a great experience from the first meet and greet to final presentation. We highly recommend Chavez!!

Had a great time at Aaron's 2-day Carving Camp. He makes it look so easy! Aaron is full of enthusiasm and is very positive and encouraging. It was a great class! I learned that it's okay to make mistakes, to let your creativity shine, and not to be so hard on myself. "Imperfection is Perfection". Being able to come home with (4) wonderful carvings (Mushroom, Owl, Bear, and Eagle) that I can use to model from and improve my skills moving forward, is priceless. Highly recommend.

I had a stump in my yard (an older birch tree). I had Aaron carve 6 beautiful butterflies into it as a Memorial Family Tree. The butterflies are for my 6 beautiful grandkids. This is something I will cherish for the rest of my life. Aaron is such a pleasure to talk to and work with. Highly recommend if you have a project you need completed by a true professional.

Aaron Chavez is a world-class artist with his chainsaws and his various woodworking tools. I had a last-minute birthday gift idea to surprise my wife for her 65th, and Aaron somehow fit me into his very busy schedule on short notice to make the surprise happen while my wife was away. He traveled over an hour to come work on a 15 ft. Tree stump next to my house. I told him to do whatever he wanted with it, whatever inspired him. The results of his masterful creativity were nothing short of stunning, to say the least! What he created out of a straight tree stump was above and beyond my expectations or anything I could have imagined. Everyone who visits our home now and sees his work standing tall and majestically asks me "who did this? Where did you find him? His work is amazing" For anyone who has a tree stump of any size that wants it transformed into a unique NW Inland Empire style, artistic masterpiece, I highly recommend Aaron Chavez!

Aaron did an amazing job of creating a "Captain Caveman" sculpture out of our tree trunk. My husband and I have always been a huge fan of this late-1970's, 1980's cartoon character and imagined having his image as a staple on our property! Aaron made that wish come true!! He is talented, trustworthy, kind, and is devoted to his craft.

Excellent experience learning this new craft, and Aaron is an outstanding instructor! I’m truly inspired and eager to continue developing the skills he shared. The retreat is set in a serene and scenic location, and Aaron’s wife is a wonderful and welcoming host. I highly recommend this chainsaw wood carving class to anyone interested in trying something new.

Brixco, has done a lot of work for us over the past 3-4 years at Redwood Chapel. They have knowledgeable staff, clean up well after projects, and do quality work. This applies to their grading, asphalt, stripe and concrete crews as well as their site supervisors.

Additionally, Jeremy Hill who is the project manager that I have worked with on all of our projects is professional, communicates well through all phases of the projects we have had while helping us to keep costs down. Jeremy is very responsive to our needs/questions and also helps walk with us through each project by helping to think things through for the best possible outcome.
