Tree fell on my house Memorial Day 2024. Mr Burris was there next day and helped me through the adjustment process. His quote was by far the most reasonable of the three. When the insurance finally approved the scope we needed (and he had recommended) the crew was very detailed and did a great job on what is a very complex installation that required a lot of skill, experience and manual labor. Highly recommend!!!

DR Horton was our home builder. Our roof was in very bad shape but we were not aware of the issues until the leaks started. Alex of Burris Roofing came out to inspect our leaky roof. Alex determined that there was no caulking or huge gaps around windows on the second level. He caulked what he could reach. He also determined that the roofers used nails instead of screws to install the flashing. Many of the nails had rusted out and there was space at the nail head where the wood was exposed. He replaced the nails with screws and caulked around them as well. Some of the gutters were pointed the wrong way. Alex completed the service work free of charge. Alex told me to call him if that didn't work and we would need to look closer at the flashing issues. That worked for about a month. By April the leaks were back. Russell, the owner, inspected the roof and determined there was rotten wood which was very concerning. This rot did not happen overnight. It was substantial. There was a section that the installers did not use underlayment at the valley before installing the shingles. This means they put the shingles directly on the plywood. The downspout that empties into the gutter below was installed improperly. It was installed so that the water ran under the shingles. The windows were not sealed. You could see the white board behind the windows. Russell Burris Roofing & his crew fixed the damage from DR Horton's subpar installation of our front porch and gutters. They replaced our 5" gutters with 6" gutters and installed new gutter screens (downspouts could still be used), completely re-roofed and flashed the front porch including new OSB in place of the rotten wood. An entire beam was rotted out and had to be repaired. There was a section that DR Horton did even install flashing which caused a large portion of the roof to be rotted and it had caved in. They also sealed around the windows. Russell was very upset by the poor workmanship of our 4 year old roof. Russell and his crew did a wonderful job. I have full confidence in their workmanship. We have had many rains since the roof repair was completed and everything is working as it should. Communication with Russell was great. The cost for the project was very competitive and the warranty was fantastic! I trust Russell for his experience and integrity. He is not a salesman. He is a knowledgeable roofer with years of experience who wants to help people with their roofing needs. I highly recommend Russell Burris for any of your roof and gutter needs.

This company and it's people are outstanding. We had to have a wall built around a pool becasue the previous wall was falling. They came out and looked it over, gave us a price, and then proceeded to do an excellent job. Their employees are hard working, take care in what they are doing, and finished the wall and landscaping professionally and on time. I am extremely happy with the job they did and the work that was done. I cannot recommend them enough.

I was very pleased with the work J & J Landscape did for us. We had a long French drain installed and the finished work looked even better than expected!
