Billy arrived on time and was very thorough. He took his time examining everything to get accurate reading of mold in the air, surfaces, crawl space, & attic in my home. Nice guy as well. Very friendly and cared about the health of my home.

Butch did our home inspection, sewer line scope, and termite inspection after we signed a contract on a house. We wanted a thorough inspection and it seemed like he took his time and did his best to make it as thorough as he could. We met with him once he was done with the home inspection, and he told us what he’d recommend prioritizing for repairs and if it was more or less urgent, as well as things to keep our eyes on. He also answered our questions. Overall, he helped us feel more confident with moving forward.

Needed an inspection of work done by 3rd party regarding truss repairs. Butch was on time, got started right away, and completed the inspection very efficiently.

Absolutely the best and most thorough home inspection I could imagine. Butch took over three hours to examine nearly every nook and cranny in our soon-to-be new home. I have or chased several properties but never have I seen a more professional or thorough inspection. He gave us a brief rundown in person after eh finished and the next morning we received a detailed report with annotated pictures. Amazing! This was well past our expectations. CHC Home Inspection tech Billy performed a Home Inspection on a property my husband and I were in the process of purchasing in Nancy KY. Along with the Home Inspection was a termite inspection as well as Radon testing.
I live in Virginia Beach, Virginia, so all negotiations/paperwork/payment was done remotely.
I arrived in Nancy KY on the day of the inspection, (December 18, 2025) for a walk through. Billy was very informative and took his time explaining the inspection he had just completed. Everything was inspected from the chimney and roof, attic, garage, ground floor down to the basement.
Since radon testing is not done in the area in which I currently reside I was unfamiliar with the process. I am now better educated.
Billy was also very helpful in obtaining measurements I needed.
When I got back to Virginia and the report was sent to me, my husband was very impressed with the pictures and the details in the report.
With both of us being prior military, attention to detail is very important to us.
My husband and I are very impressed with CHC Home Inspection and with Billy, so much so that we are going to ask them to reinspect the home in Nancy KY prior to closing.

Butch did a great job and was very friendly and professional. He walked me through the house and showed me every major issue and was able to explain it to me in a simple and understandable fashion. The report was very detailed and easy to understand. The prices were a little higher than other quotes I got however CHC's availability was excellent. They were able to get out early the next day.

All in all I would recommend them for your inspection needs.
