When hiring a Countertop Contractor, consider the scope of your project and whether you need additional services like kitchen or bathroom remodeling. Ask each provider about their experience with materials like granite, marble, or quartz, as this can affect both price and quality. Since quotes for similar work can vary widely, inquire specifically about the cost per square foot, any hidden fees, and included labor hours to make comparisons more straightforward.
Before contacting a Countertop Contractor, consider your home renovation goals and budget. Decide if you need to replace or install new countertops, whether it's in the kitchen or bathroom. Understanding the scope of work will help you choose the right provider for your needs.
A Countertop Contractor specializes in designing and installing kitchen and bathroom surfaces such as granite, marble, quartz, and tile. They also handle countertop removal, installation of new fixtures, and sometimes provide supply services. Common issues include improper measurements leading to incorrect cuts, which can cause delays or extra costs. Ensure the contractor has experience with your specific materials to avoid future complications.
For kitchen remodels, expect to have cabinets refaced, existing countertops replaced, and potentially flooring and lighting adjustments. Bathroom remodeling may involve updating vanities, installing new basins and sinks, and possibly reconfiguring plumbing fixtures. Ensuring the contractor is familiar with plumbing codes can prevent water damage or leaks.
When selecting a Countertop Contractor, first assess your project's requirements and timeline. Determine if you need a full kitchen remodel, just countertop replacement, or both. Ask about their experience with the materials you're interested in and whether they can supply them themselves. Compare quotes from multiple providers to ensure you get fair pricing.
Check references and ask for photos of previous work to see the quality and craftsmanship. Make sure the contractor has a clean record, insurance coverage, and relevant certifications. Be clear about your expectations regarding project timelines and payment schedules during the consultation process.

Quality work and pricing. I would recommend them.
Tom at Countercrew was a massive help. After 2 years of trying to find someone to cut my granite countertops and install a difficult sink.... I finally found the man to do it. He sent one of his contractors out here within a 5 days of my first call... and finished the job in less than 2 hours!! I'm blown away by how good these guys are. Very good communicator and scheduler. I wish everyone was like these guys. Very professional and I would use again in a heart beat. If you're a homeowner you know how hard it is to find good work. Well your search is over, these guys are the answer you're looking for.
The Counter Crew refurbished my kitchen granite and the marble in 2 bathrooms. The house is 5 years old and the counter tops didnot look this good when they were new. The Tech was Luis, hew was polite, knowledgable ande clean. When I say clean, I mean spotless, he masked the bathroom, sweep up and at the end, you didnot know he was in the house. I would highly recommend The Counter Crew, we will not use anyone else for our solid surfaces. THEY ARE THE BEST!!!!!!
I can't say enough good things about Countercrew. They were super professional and had the highest integrity. They came out to my home twice. The first time they found that our cabinet support under the cracked granite was faulty and allowed the crack. They told us we needed to have the support strengthened. We had that done by a carpenter, and then had them back out. When they reviewed the work done, they said it was such a good job, that the crack was almost unnoticeable and they would add little value in doing any of the additional fixes they are capable of. They did not charge for either visit. In my book, their honesty is worth a ton. There are other reviews that cover the quality of their work, this review attests to their integrity, which is every bit as important. Thank you Counter crew!
