The crew that built our deck was both quick and professional. The old deck was removed and the new deck was installed in a week. It looks great!

We were impressed from start to finish by the work. I will admit I experienced a little sticker shock, but we are DELIGHTED with the end product. Can't say enough good things about Glenn and his team. Great work done by great people!

The craftsmanship of the team was excellent. Communications with the members at the job site was great and responsive. The job site team members were very courteous and attentive to detail. They arrived promptly in the morning and always left the site clean and picked up at the end of the day. It was a pleasure working with James Marsh, Danny Hall and Zavian Marsh. A job well done! We had our old, tired deck demolished and replaced with a new composite deck. My wife and I couldn't be happier with the final result. The crew was able to get our job started weeks earlier than originally estimated and were complete after only three days.

Matt and his crew did an absolute killer job on our new Trex deck. We would definitely recommend them to anybody looking for a new deck!

I’m really happy with my deck! There were minor hiccups however Waddell and his crew are amazing. I highly recommend them. I believe they did everything to my desire and they cleaned up afterwards. I’m completely happy with my decision. Even my neighbors were excited to see the finish product. I will be reaching out again when the time is right to get an attached pergola.

These people are horrible.John,who is the co owner is very rude and unprofessional.He has a Forman who drinks beer on the job ( even drinks beer while drinking ) I accidentally shot a trim nail through my left index finge,John refused to take care of the hospital bill. They treated me if talked. I feel people need to the truth behind The Composite Guys. I would not hire these guy for the fact Joel will do nothing but sit in his truck and drink beer.
This a warning ⚠️ not to hire The Composite Guys, search the crew background first before you hire them. This company doesn't believe in safety, or do I believe they have workmen, Composite or insurance. A horrible company, with horrible leadership.

Good company, fair price, friendly crew that paid attention to detail and was very responsive to any questions or concerns throughout the process (special thanks to Matt). Ditto for the owners, John and Todd. I'm very happy with the outcome. Trex is a quality product that is made mostly of recycled material. It will last much longer than a wooden deck with minimal maintenance. Based on my experience I can recommend this company.

I found The Composite Guys online when looking for someone to build a new composite deck for me. The reviews were good, and the company was responsive to my inquiry. The carpenter who oversaw the building of the deck was wonderful – the wider treads on my stairs were beautifully framed and the deck looks fantastic! I’m very glad I used The Composite Guys!

I highly recommend The Composite Guys. They are not inexpensive, but their materials, quality of work, and professionalism can't be beat. Our construction team was dedicated, VERY skilled, and paid great 'attention to detail' in every phase of our deck's construction. Their work ethic and abilities were beyond any construction team with which I've ever worked.

The job was started on time. There was no problem getting materials, even the special orders. I watched and interacted with the crew from the demolition of my old balcony to the completion of my new balcony. The crew leader/supervisor, Waddell, has the skill set necessary to build a deck of superior quality and he also worked well as a team member. The rest of the crew, Will, Danny, Matt and Joshua also brought their quality skills to bear. The whole crew worked well together as a team and as individuals. They did not seem to mind my constant presence in the midst of their project and took the time to give detailed explanations for every question I asked them. Together they built me a balcony that will last decades. It is refreshing for me to watch a team that not only has the skills to build an excellent product but seemed happy on the job. Will told me a couple of times that he liked what he does and was always quick with a smile and a laugh. Waddell was also quick with a smile. It was obvious that he knows his job and takes pride in his work. They did not consider the job done until I was completely satisfied. Everything I asked for I got. I highly recommend The Composite Guys. If you want quality work call them and I hope you are fortunate enough to get this crew.

The responsibility of a Consumer, is to know what they want and to be able to afford to pay for it. We started our dream backyard project with a clear view of what we wanted and how it would end up looking. We installed new windows and did other projects, to make our backyard look inviting. We called the Composite Guys, to handle our deck project and that’s where our nightmare started. All of the tail tell signs were there, no follow up call to check on the progress, none of the people installing the deck, seem to have a relationship with the company and no consistent work schedule.

1: The people who run this company, don’t seem to be as informed about their business as they should be.
2: We were given misleading information.
3: When there was a disagreement, the Owner became very confrontational.
4: THERE ARE NO “Employees” they use Subs exclusively, none of which are licensed or insured! So anyone inferring that I am a former Employee, is not telling the truth. I was a Customer, who paid good money for inferior service.
4: For your own protection, ASK FOR INSURANCE!
5: The people who run this company, don’t seem to be as informed about their business as they should be.
6: ASK for References, at least 3-5!
7: There was no follow up from ANYONE.
After we made the final payment, in good faith, they all disappeared.
8: Lastly: Do not trust one word that comes out of a guy named John’s mouth! I have never met, nor dealt with a more uncivilized person in my entire life.

The Composite Guys did a great job on our deck. They took the time to make sure things were done right and the way we wanted it done. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a great product at a reasonable price. Very Satisfied customers.

Extremely professional service with quality work! The entire project was done efficiently without any surprises. We were very pleased with the final look of our new Composite Deck! Our experience was good from start to finish. Todd (owner) was very knowledgeable and professional while coming out to give us our quote. He brought product samples and had a quote ready the same day. We were given an honest time frame for the work to begin. About two weeks before the scheduled start date, Todd called and said they were ahead and could start early if that was ok with us. Asa- our lead on the project was awesome. Very responsive and professional. The team made sure to confirm any placement/framing issues with us before proceeding as we were doing a complete rebuild and using the shape of our old deck as a model but adding a new staircase. They got the work done in the time frame we were told and the deck is more beautiful than I expected. I would recommend this company to anyone wanting a composite deck.

From start to finish of our 26’x41’ two level deck, the Composite Guys were absolutely outstanding! Todd and John were easy to work with and the price was very reasonable. Huge kudos to James, Tommy and Zavien for their superior craftsmanship, professionalism and meticulous attention to detail! I am very pleased with The Composite Guys and highly recommend this company. From my initial contact with Penny in the office to working with Joey regarding product type, design, size and color selection. Joey was professional, very knowledgeable and very patient, as I had a hard time making up my mind (there are just so many choices)!

Great things on the front end, means nothing without a great install and a great Installation Team, and I had the best. The team of James, Danny and Zavian were truly awesome. Each day they showed up on time, cleaned up daily, and they were always respectful and professional. The teams outstanding workmanship produced a beautiful well constructed deck.
