I can't say enough great things about Nick, Darby, Ignacio, Ann Marie and the entire Rocky Mountain Outdoor Living team. We worked together on my project for a full year and in that time they were able to turn our backyard dream into a reality that exceeded our already lofty expectations. The design team took a very rough explanation of what I was looking for, added features and elevation changes that I couldn't have imagined on my own, turned it into a 3D animation that brought excitement to our entire family and then set forth to build exactly what they promised. Along the way I was introduced to a professional and skilled team of workers that created beauty and craftsmanship in everything they touched. Even when I decided the initial plan needed some additions, or changes, or I just simply changed my mind, never once did they say they couldn't achieve the outcome I was looking for. All they ever said was "Yes, absolutely, we can do that". It was almost a surreal experience working with a contractor that not only kept their word, their schedule, and their price point (except for the design changes which were 100% on me), this contractor went BEYOND the ordinary and into the EXTRAORDINARY throughout the entire project. Most of us are used to a contractor that just wants to finish the project and move on, RMOL truly cared about creating an outdoor living space that our family would truly love to "live" in.

Our project consisted of transforming a 20,000 sq foot backyard of overgrown trees, dying grass and misshapen and unkept hills (all from a previous owner), into a 20x40 shotcrete swimming pool, a 9x9 spa with a sheet waterfall, a 4 foot circular fire pit with a rounded seating area, a raised pavilion for an outdoor kitchen, a grass soccer pitch and a waterproofed and finished underdeck for the 700 sq foot deck above. Not to mention hundreds of sq feet of pavers, dozens of feet of multi-tiered retaining walls and capped off with dozens of new trees, shrubs and outdoor lighting that came together into a backyard oasis of our dreams. This project started with a dream from our family and RMOL turned that dream into a reality that we will live in and love for the entirety of our time in this home.

Our deck looks appealing, the team under Alex leadership did an excellent job, each day brought a successor as they come and left just as clean. They were careful to pay attention to every detail, There was nothing left to chance as all corners got considered down to the finest of details. We had an easy time selecting composites over metals or any other type of decking material because the kids are always using these areas in playing games hence need for safety measures put in place through this choice. Raman Intercrus Decks’ contractor not only responded swiftly but also showed up at our place and even offered some useful tips on how we could go about completing our plan. Thadd and his crew took care of our yard for many years and were always so prompt. I never had to wonder if they were going to show up, and they always did a great job. Billing was easy and appreciated quick response when I needed something.

Thadd was easy to work with. He helped save us money by using predefined county/building rules to avoid paying for an additional engineer. Would recommend.

Contracts with Wights are invalid and do not conform with WA law (RCW 18.27.114). They did not show up for work as promised and attempt to use an invalid contract to refuse to return deposit. I am currently in communication with the WA ATG and they additionally referred me to Dept. of Labor for additional actions. Beware of contractors who are unreasonable and unscrupulous.
2. Reply to Response from Owner.
Contrary to what they claim Wight's kept $2000 of my deposit. There is an ongoing investigation (Case number: CCTN #337797) with the Attorney General of Washington for improper procedures and legal remedies are being explored. I will update this as it progresses. Don't sign any contract that does not contain a contractor registration number and a proper Disclosure Statement as required by RCW. 10/13/22

Thadd and team did an awesome job of demolishing the old deck and replacing with a new one, ahead of schedule! The team worked in the rain and cold, without a break and were extremely professional! They are highly recommended!
