Hemlock Contracting did a great job building our deck.
We worked primarily with Nate, and communication was excellent from start to finish. He was responsive, clear about timelines, and easy to work with throughout the project.

One thing that really stood out was their ability to source a specific hardwood I wanted, which not every contractor was willing or able to do. The craftsmanship is solid, the deck came out exactly as planned, and the worksite was kept orderly.

Overall, a professional experience and a high-quality result. I’d recommend Hemlock Contracting to anyone looking for reliable work.

I just had the most amazing experience with Hemlock. Ben and Nathan were such a pleasure to work with. My wife and I couldn’t be happier with our new deck! We met with two other contractors in the Worcester area, but Hemlock offered the best price by far without sacrificing quality. The scheduling process was smooth, they got us on the calendar quickly, and the entire project was completed within a week.

These guys just finished installing this deck and it looks awesome! I love gray composite decking paired with the crisp white vinyl railing. It gives my backyard a clean, modern vibe. We had a deck prior that wobbled like crazy so that is something I was concerned about. This deck is as sturdy as can be. The installation went smooth. Definitely recommend Hemlock Contracting for anyone wanting to upgrade their outdoor space. Five stars!

My wife and I were very satisfied with our new deck! We shopped around for 2 other contractors in the Worcester area and Hemlock gave us the best price. We were able to schedule within a timely period and work was completed within a week. We were able to enjoy our new deck in time for the summer and it’s still holding up great this winter! They came to our rescue when a pipe burst on Christmas Eve. Industrial fans and dehumidifier were set up and all cords and tubing were taped down. Insurance company later informed us that all wet drywall and insulation should have been removed first in order to dry out wall cavities. We learn as we go. Nice family business.

Had duct cleaning, sanitation and repair work done on duct work in our large 4 bedroom house. The team was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. We will be working with craftsman home remodeling for future projects and recommend them to anyone in the Roch area.

I've been a client of theirs for several years . Their knowledge and skill with anything from remodeling or putting an addition on my home , to repair on my commercial properties is unmatched . They also offer insulation and furnace/air duct cleaning that is very cost efficient in comparison to other companies! I called to get my air ducts cleaned and their response time was great. They came on time, and were very professional and personable. I have dogs and they were very nice to them. They came in and got the job done in a timely manner and left my house the way they came in. I would highly recommend them if you need anything done!

Excellent! Phil Zona and his son cleaned my duct work in my 130 year old home. From the first phone call communication has been excellent. They arrived on time and have been professional, honest and courteous throughout the entire job. They go above and beyond and gave some additional work for free. Will not hesitate to use them again!

I am a Heating & Cooling business owner here in the Western New York area. Our company takes pride in our work to the fullest extent, no matter what project we take on, satisfying the homeowner with the best of our professional ability. Over a period of time, I myself came across a multitude of gorgeous homes while arriving to jobs that homeowners requested us for. We arrived to many beautiful homes that I myself felt were very impressive. I then complimented our customer and asked who had done the work to there home?

They had told me that a company by the name of Craftsman Custom Design had preformed the work.

Now this being said...... I felt that the Craftsmanship and Quality of the work was pretty much as close to pristine as you could get. Believe me! I am huge on perfection!

I was in the market to have some work done on my home. I contacted Craftsman Custom Design and asked a little information about them without them being aware that I was a contractor myself. They seemed well educated and very friendly to deal with.

So I then had them out to give me and estimate. Turns out they get into a wide variety of jobs.

I needed new Siding and Windows.

Well the estimate went well. I didn't feel like I was lied to in any way. They gave me a chance to explore my options, made some great recommendations and at the end of the day the price was reasonable. Not to mention I had gotten 4-5 other estimates.

I had them do the work. They were prompt, professional and had the manpower to get the job done in a timely fashion. I critique everything! All in all.... I really had nothing to say but.....Nice Job! They even did extra work to my home for efficiency! I was very pleased with the service and would recommend Craftsman Custom Design to EVERYONE! Thanks again!

With 2 young grandchildren, an ailing brother-in-law and a 40yr old house, I thought now was as good as time as any to have our ducts cleaned. For an average size house it took about 4hrs and it was worth every minuet. Just seeing the dirt, pet hair, drywall, and other contaminants about an inch thick on their filters afterwards, convinced us we made the right decision. These guys were professional, easy to work with, and answered all my questions.

A few years earlier we had them install new siding and replace our gutters. The workmanship was top notch and the house looks better than ever.

I am a very meticulous individual who prefers to do all of the home projects myself. About 15 years ago I needed some trim work done and I liked the ad I saw for Phil Zona at Craftsman. The quality of work done far exceeds my expectations. I have since used Craftsman for some siding work, a new roof, gutters, and have recommended them to my parents for their new roof. Every job was done with the utmost care and precision. They treated every job, big or small, like it was done at their own house. Their workmanship is outstanding and they are very neat. That is a trait that you don't always find in a contractor anymore. I am very pleased with every job Craftsman has done for me and will continue to call them for jobs that I don't want to tackle myself. I have a large natural Cedar front porch that was in need of care. The Team from Craftsman Custom Design came in power washed, stained and sealed it and it looks like new. It was a pleasure working with Phil and his Team as they were professional, reasonably priced and completed the work as promised and more. The extra little touches were appreciated as was the excellent workmanship done with a smile. They have been added to my go to list!

I hired Phil and his team for some wood replacement on my porch. He and his staff were knowledgable, helpful, professional and got the job done quickly. My father then hired them to add an extension/addition on his garage. Several other "large" contractors backed away and made excuses for why they couldn't do the job. Not Phil and his team though. The finished product looks fantastic and should we need anything in the future, we needn't look any further than Craftsman Custom Design.

Philip and family were very kind and knowledgable. Felt very comfortable with them in my home. They were happy to answer questions while they worked and showed me everything that came out of my ducts! Every homeowner should have this cleaning done for your health. Will have them back next time.

This crew is great. They were building a beautiful deck at the house next door. Their job site was clean and organized. I asked them if they would look at something and tell me how it could be fixed. They did it in a matter of minutes.

Timely was not our experience. We were repeatedly given dates on when the job would start and repeatedly the job was not started. Every time we would have to call and try to confirm if the job was going to start on the date, we were told only to be told it would not. The communication was not proactive and when we get frustrated as a customer because promises are made and not kept time and again, they were rude to us.

Would not recommend this business for your deck job.
