I hired Marshall for a combination of hardscaping and landscaping work. The hardscaping work was top notch, and I have nothing but good things to say about the three crew members who did the work. The landscaping had some drainage issues at first, but after I posted a negative review, they sent the crew back to fix the grading accordingly.

Marshall's was an amazing company to work with. Right from the beginning, when I stopped by to ask for help with my whole garden makeover, Lauren was fun and professional as she guided me through the process. Jorge and his crew worked so hard removing old, uneven grass, laying an enormous amount of sod, regrading a severe slope, removing dozens of large rocks, taking out two trees and planting replacement trees and creating several new flower beds. The crew worked twelve-hour days till the project was completed. They were very respectful and a pleasure to work with. Thank you for doing such a beautiful job! I would highly recommend Marshall Landscaping to anyone!!

The team at Marshall Landscaping transformed our backyard into a beautiful, functional space. The yard looks so much bigger now that it has been leveled. We were particularly impressed with their work ethic, they worked from 7 am to 7pm and even worked on Saturdays. They finished a month’s worth of work in less than 3 weeks. I highly recommend them.

Working with Marshall landscaping was so easy. Lauren came and talked to me about what I would like to have done, then the team showed up and executed it beautifully. And the pricing was very reasonable.

Canal Little League (CLL) has been around for 50 years, located directly behind Peoples Plaza, with facility upgrades being completed over the years. In the late 2018 and into 2019, CLL decided it was necessary to make a significant investment into the Minor B baseball field.
The issue at hand was left center to left field along with the parking lot sat lower than the surrounding area which would result in sitting water for days. After a torrential rainstorm in late March 2019, I reached out to several landscaping contractors to discuss ways in which this problem could be alleviated. The first company to respond was Marshall Landscaping and Sean came out the very next day (on time), providing a variety of options based off the CLL budget. Sean was very insightful and detailed, taking me step by step through the project. It is also important to note Marshall’s bid was competitive and fair (mirroring the other contractors) and transparent. The project had to be postponed until late December 2019 into January 2020 which required Sean to come back out in late fall to re-review with me. The project included the following:
• Regrading center to left field.
• Installing a french drain along the left field (foul line) fence.
• Installing a drainage system in the parking lot.
• Adding stone to the parking lot.
• Removing a dead tree behind the backstop.
Fast forward to late December 2019, the project began and was concluded in mid-January 2020. During this time, Sean and the back office kept me routinely updated as to the progress. After the project was reviewed by CLL board members, it was determined the grade for center to left field was too low. Sean came back out to discuss and Marshall agreed to add additional dirt, increasing the grade. After Marshall was complete, the field and surrounding area, were appropriately cleared of all debris and equipment, as if a month long project had never taken place.
The project was put to test very early after significant rainstorm in late January which dumped approximately two to three inches over a few hours. As designed, a combination of the grade, french drain and drainage system in the parking lot, appropriately moved the water via a 300’ long drainpipe, letting the water settle and seep into the ground/woods.
As noted above, Canal is a complex with many fields and upgrades will continue to be made and Marshall Landscaping will be considered in the future.

I really can’t say enough about how happy we are with the quality of work we had performed. We had front walkway & front step removed & replaced with Cambridge pavers. We also had our back patio removed & re-done, along with a paver pad constructed behind our house. The workmanship & the care taken by the workers completing these projects was outstanding. Actually had 2 jobs going on, some hardscaping and new concrete. This crew organized everything efficiently and completed everything in a few days. I had an old driveway that needed to be dug up and replaced, and I also wanted a walkway installed.

Shawn and his crew did an incredible job in putting it together, and it looks amazing!

It’s a concreted driveway, lined with pavers. The walkway is made of pavers with 8 lighted bricks that turn on based on a photosensor (could be timed if I wanted too).

These guys are hard workers and they do an incredible job. My neighbors love it, too!

I had Marshall Landscaping remove a small cherry tree stump from our front yard. It was a small job, and they were able to squeeze me into their schedule very quickly. A 3 man crew came out with a bobcat stump grinder and quickly and competently removed not just the stump, but also the surface roots. They back-filled with top soil, re-sculpted the ground, reseeded, and placed a hay mat over everything. Artists! Very happy with service and price. (I added cash tip for quality of work).

I 100 percent recommend Marshall Landscaping! I hired this company to repair a shotty mulch job done by a previous company. I also asked Marshall Landscaping to remove the weeds from our hardscape, and several bushes that blocked the front view of our home. Marshall Landscaping did an INCREDIBLE job and my home looks magazine perfect! I couldn’t have asked for better quality. Also, the landscapers were prompt, knowledgeable, and kind. Moving forward, I will continue to only contract with Marshall Landcaping. I can’t wait to call them for help with my next project!

Our first time using their service and the Marshal Landscaping team certainly met my expectations. Grading topsoil and adding sod where an above-ground pool once stood was the main task, and timing was important due to upcoming winter season. They also excavated old lawn and replaced with quality stone a 200 sq ft area used to store my trailer. From first contact for quote to finished job was only 15 days. Very please with all aspects of this company.

This was a really large and challenging project--leveling roughly a half acre of hilly, rocky yard (front and back, separated by a stone wall) and clearing it of stumps, roots, and rocks, before laying sod and plantings. And the work Marshall did was absolutely fantastic. A three-person crew headed by George worked dusk to dawn for a week--in extreme heart--and they worked tirelessly and diligently. We were so impressed by their knowledge and skill, and by their professionalism--indeed, their perfectionism. And we are beyond thrilled with the finished product: neighbors, even strangers passing by, have noted how beautiful it looks. We certainly will employ them for future landscaping projects, and recommend them highly and enthusiastically.

From start to finish Marshall Landscaping just hit all the box's. They responded quickly and professionally to my request for a quote, arrived on time and returned to review the quote. The crew arrived on time the day of the job with the same service professional and customer friendly. They replaced a sidewalk and patio, cleaned up and repaired anything around the job that was affected.

We use Marshall annually to take care of our landscaping needs. The staff and workers are professional, friendly and make sure each job is handled to the customer’s needs. Plus, they take time to explain the work and any necessary upkeep. Recently, Marshall replaced sections of our sidewalk. The results were excellent and our neighbors asked for information on who did such a great job.

We contracted with Marshall Landscaping to re-grade our backyard after it was damaged by all the heavy rain that occurred this past January. (See before and after pictures attached.) Additionally, we had them “refresh” the stones in two gardens in the front of our house. Shawn and his team did an excellent job and the finished product looks great. This is the second project we’ve had Marshall do over the past two years and like the first, we were very satisfied.

Wonderful service! Had them come out for major leaf removal. Had years of fallen leaves and they took care of it quickly and were very thorough! Price was great and will definitely be a returning customer!
